As I reminisce about my wedding day, one person stands out like a shining star among the many talented vendors that contributed to the magic of the occasion - my bridal hair and makeup artist. From the moment she walked into the bridal suite until the last touch-up before the ceremony, she radiated positivity, talent, and professionalism. I am beyond grateful for her exceptional skills and the way she made me feel like the best version of myself.
Natural makeup was the look I desired for my big day, and she absolutely nailed it. She struck a perfect balance, enhancing my features without ever making me feel like a completely different person. The end result was simply stunning - a flawless and timeless look that accentuated my natural beauty.
But her talents went beyond just the technical aspects of hair and makeup. She possessed an incredible ability to understand my vision and adapt it to suit my unique features and personality. With her gentle touch, she transformed me into the radiant bride I had always envisioned.
One of the most remarkable qualities she possessed was her ability to ease my pre-wedding jitters. As nerves and excitement ran high on the morning of the ceremony, her calming presence and reassuring words provided the comfort I needed to stay composed. She not only took care of my appearance but also took the time to ensure I felt relaxed and ready to embrace the day ahead.
Throughout the entire process, she proved to be an invaluable member of our "dream team." She collaborated seamlessly with the other vendors, contributing to a harmonious atmosphere that was palpable. Her positive energy lifted the spirits of everyone present, making the day all the more enjoyable and stress-free.
As a bride, having the right suppliers is essential, and I am incredibly grateful to have had her as part of my wedding experience. From the initial consultation to the final touch-ups, she demonstrated professionalism, talent, and a genuine passion for her craft.

Perfect wedding hair and makeup!

Niki was fantastic from start to finish! I was really nervous about having my make-up done for my wedding as I don't wear make-up normally but Niki was brilliant.
For the trial I went for very minimal and natural make-up and I was so happy with how it looked. Before the wedding my skin was breaking out a lot and I needed more make up than I initially thought I'd wear but Niki still made it look very natural while covering any unwanted marks on my skin. I felt so confident and beautiful on the day.
Niki's a great addition to the morning as she's so calm and friendly. She did some of my family's make-up and hair for the wedding and they all commented on how lovely she was.
Niki was always quick to get back to me on any questions.
She's brilliant! Thank you so much Niki!

Highly Recommend!

Niki is amazing, highly recommend. During my trial, she really listened and took the time to make sure I was happy. Then on the actual wedding day, she was a wonderful calm presence. I loved my hair and makeup so much, it made me feel so confident and beautiful - plus I felt and looked like myself which is really important. My mum also had her make up done. She doesn't wear much day-to-day, so wanted a really natural look. She hasn't had her make up done since her own wedding, so was a bit nervous, but Niki did an incredible job; made her feel very calm and confident, and the final result was gorgeous!

Experienced and reliable hair and make-up pro with great taste and style

Niki Lawrence came across as knowledgeable, experienced, reliable, and easy to work with, and these are the reasons why I chose her for the Big Day! I was very happy and satisfied with my wedding hair and make-up and highly recommend her.

Right from the start, Niki was responsive and very professional. Her website and social media presence provided me with a clear idea of her style, industry experience, work quality and personality. From the first time we communicated and throughout the process, she was friendly, thorough, and clear, while also acting as an advisor.

She explained the steps and timings as well as the expectations from me as the client, which helped with planning. We talked about hair and makeup products to be used so that I understood how they would work and help me achieve the look and impact I wanted.

I also appreciated how she asked for my input and preferences even before the trial session. To make sure we understood each other well, she asked me (and guests who were getting their hair and makeup done by Niki too) to share inspiration images and styles I liked for myself and for the wedding. During the trial at her lovely studio, she also asked about my experience with wearing makeup, what I was comfortable with in terms of styling, and what I liked and did not like. She took her cue from my ideas and wishes, and provided recommendations and options. If there was an aspect that might be a challenge (I wanted a bun but I didn’t realize my hair was not long enough) – she brought it up so that I am aware of it and more importantly, she offered suggestions on what can be done.

She also asked me for feedback several times, to ensure I was happy with the styling, to check if my hair and makeup lasted well after the trial (which they did), and to find out if there was anything I’d like to adjust or change.

On the day of the wedding, she was focused, working quickly and efficiently, while also helping to keep a happy and relaxed mood in the room by chatting with me and guests getting ready from time to time.

Niki also has a gentle hand and light touch so I felt relaxed and calm. The makeup looks natural, classy and tasteful. It did not feel heavy on my skin, and it lasted all day!

From her communication style, professionalism, responsiveness and technique, Niki gave me confidence knowing that I didn’t have to worry about hair and makeup during this special day. Thank you so much Niki!

I had the BEST wedding day! And it started with getting ready in the morning. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our morning so stress-free and relaxed! You and Jaydean were just brilliant and made us all feel at ease and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for wedding hair and makeup - both stayed perfect all day!

Beautiful wedding hair and make up

I would highly recommend Niki’s services as a hair and make up artist. Niki was an ultimate professional during the trial and on the day. She put me at ease straight away and she got along well with my bridesmaids. All of my bridesmaids and myself were very happy with the make up and hair during the wedding. We all felt amazing and beautiful. Our hair and make up lasted all day and we had so many compliments. I would not hesitate to book Niki again for an event.

Niki was amazing!

I can't recommend Niki enough! Niki did made me feel amazing on my wedding day, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a MUA and hair stylist for their day. Niki did hair and make up for me, my MOH and my mother, and she made all of us feel incredible. It was really important to me that I still felt like myself on the day, and Niki's natural make up style was perfect for this. Before the wedding Niki was super helpful, setting up a trial session with me and replying to messages very quickly. Thank you so much Niki!

Fantastic!

Our wedding venue Luton Hoo recommended Niki and from first contact with Niki, I felt totally at ease and I knew I'd made the right choice. On my trial with Niki, I said I didn't want to look overly made up, but that I wanted to look an "enhanced" version of myself! Niki did exact that - I still looked like me but much better!! Niki listened and knew exactly what I wanted. Niki also did my hair and I had bought hair extensions as I have fine hair, and I wanted a updo that just wasn't possible without hair extensions. Niki therefore had to work extremely hard to style my hair!

On the wedding day itself, Niki came to my hotel to do hair and make up for myself and my 2 bridesmaids. All of our hair and make up looked amazing and our morning was so relaxed with her there.

Niki is truly a fantastic hair and make up artist, and I will use her again for special occasions in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Niki to other brides.

Perfect wedding make up

Niki did an amazing job doing the make up for me, my bridesmaids, my mum and mother-in-law for my wedding day. Everyone was really pleased with the results and it all looked very natural - definitely how we wanted it.

Niki was super helpful in the run up too, very responsive and put me at ease with a great make up trial a few months in advance.

I would deifnitley recommend Niki!
