Niki is a truly excellent make up artist and I couldn’t have found anyone better for both of my wedding days. Her hair and make up skills are phenomenal, as are her interpersonal skills - she made everyone, from my eight year old niece to 76 year old mother, feel at ease, excited, and ready for the big days. We got married at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire on 3 May 2025 and booked Nikki to do the hair and make-up for the bride, three bridesmaids and mother of the bride. Everyone was delighted with the end result, which Nikki and her assistant executed quickly and calmly on the day but it was thanks in no small part to meticulous planning on her part beforehand. The majority of the wedding party attended a trial run for both hair and make-up when Nikki made notes and took photos so that the big day itself was relaxed with everyone knowing what to expect. Nikki was professional and responsive in all our correspondence leading up to the booking which was so helpful and reassuring. We were all given a schedule before the day, with our respective time slots for hair and make-up and the whole morning ran to perfect time.
Everyone in the wedding party looked the best version of themselves and I’m sure the calm and relaxed atmosphere on the morning of the wedding was down to the vibe that Nikki brought. I would not hesitate to book Nikki again for professional hair and make-up again and have no hesitation in recommending her wedding services.

Niki was just absolutely amazing, my make up stayed on till the next morning and I woke up looking flawless! It rained as well after he ceremony but the make up still looked amazing all day! Thank you so much! The bridesmaids looked amazing as well!Niki Lawrence Professional Make-up Artist's reply:

Niki is such a lovely person and hugely talented professional. I loved my trial hair and makeup and Niki put me completely at ease from the start. On the wedding day, we talked about some tweaks to the hairstyle which Niki adapted and sorted with ease, creating a beautiful final result. My biggest personal fear, was truly looking “beautiful” on my big day. As someone who has no talent in hair or make up, I was really relying on someone taking the reins and helping me figure out what would work best for me. Niki did not disappoint!
Her home studio is absolutely stunning. She is friendly, warm, professional and clearly extremely talented. I also feel very reasonably priced!
Communication with Niki was always spot on, I never had to worry. On the day, Niki was early, and kept to her timeline. Ever a calming presence on the day, she truly made me feel the best I could possibly look. My mum, who wanted to have natural make up, was also so chuffed with her results. I absolutely recommend Niki for both hair and make up for your big day. Mine, and the bridesmaids hair lasted all night, even with it being a warm and windy day, and our make up did brilliantly, considering all the tears! Niki did the bridal hair and makeup of myself and my two bridesmaids recently and I couldn't recommend her enough. From my initial enquiry all the way up until the ceremony, Niki was attentive, fun, and professional. She settled all my insecurities and made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I was so nervous to pick a make-up artist for my wedding as I've never had my make-up done before. However, Niki was so lovely and made me feel so at-ease from the first time I met her. I had a trial for myself and my sister and left feeling so fantastic that I knew I would book her for my wedding. On the day, Niki was calm and collected which was exactly what I needed. I was so happy with how I looked on the wedding day - I really didn't think I could actually look that beautiful!
