The perfect day we wanted.
The setting comes alive with the colour of flowers, guests' attire, the beauty of the wood in the Oak Room, subdued lighting.The service during luncheon was impeccable, the food was delicious and the comments we have received from guests include "without fault".The close attention to detail by Clara the Wedding Co-ordinator made the wedding day go without a hitch.Nothing was too much trouble. Wish we could do it all over again!

Perfect venue with 6-star service
We had a perfect wedding day at the Montagu Arms in July 2011. We chose this venue after a long search for 'just the right place' and were so glad we did. Standards are incredibly high in every respect at the Montagu and the whole day was simply perfect. We were hugely impressed and the feedback from our guests was amazing! The hotel is rightly recognised as the best in the New Forest and its layout and facilities are ideal for a wedding party. We liked that our guests could chose to spend their time either inside in the lounge, conservatory or bar, or outside in the beautiful tiered gardens, on the decking, or at the small tables by the fountain. The restaurant produced outstanding food and this was backed up by consistently first class service. All the staff were highly skilled, polite and relaxed, and it was a delight to see our guests being served so professionally. We liked that even on tables of ten, the staff teamed up to present all ten plates at exactly the same moment. The hotel also has an exceptional wedding coordinator, Charlotte Craig. We were in regular contact with Charlotte in the months leading up to the wedding and we were continually impressed with her friendly professional manner, prompt responses, close attention to detail and her following-up of issues. Overall, this is a superb venue with outstanding staff. There really wasn't any aspect of the day where the Montagu team did not excel. Five stars is really not enough.

The most amazing venue & service
We held our wedding at The Montagu Arms Hotel on 29th December 2010. It was the MOST amazing day ever and the majority of this was down to the management and staff at The Montagu Arms. The food was of an unbelievable quality, nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were turned around so quickly, the staff were so professional and helpful and the service was 5* throughout our stay. The venue was perfect for us with its cosy and intimate feel, log fires, gorgeous rooms and amazing food and service. If you have a wedding here, you will not be dissapointed, it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Beautiful venue
We held our wedding reception here in May 09. All the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They ensured the day went smoothly and all of our guests had a wonderful time. The hotel and gardens are stunning and one of the best in the New Forest. Just be aware that you do have to book out most of the bedrooms for the night of the wedding, which is quite costly. Otherwise it was a perfect day!!

An excellent day
The team at the Montagu Arms were fantastic..very professional and nothing was too much trouble. The service was impeccable and the day ran exactly to plan. We enjoyed our wedding day immensely at the Montagu Arms Hotel. Perfect result!

Excellent Venue
Due to the hard work and efficiency of Christine and her team our wedding day was a one to remember. The Hotel team also added some very special touches which made the day all the more fabulous. The food was excellent well prepared and served. We wholeheartedly recommend the Montagu Arms Hotel as a wedding venue.

Fantastic Venue
We got married Dec 04 here. The venue is stunning. The staff are great, they are attentive without being overbearing, the food was delicious and they will meet your needs (I asked to change 1 meal an hour before serving and it was no trouble!). It isn't cheap and you do need to be aware of room prices etc. But if you want one, if not the best venue in Hampshire this must be a serious contender on your list. They always say the wedding day should be the best day of your life and the staff here made sure it was.

Romantic & Stress free.
We had a wonderful wedding in September 2002! The staff were efficient and professional with a personal touch, they met with all our special demands to make to our day one to remember. The food was great and all our friends and children dietary needs were catered for. Our wedding photos were lovely with the stunning back drop gardens. The rooms were very romantic for the guests that stayed (not just for us)!! We plan to return for our wedding anniversary this year. WELL WORTH A VISIT.

Look out or hidden costs
We looked at this venue as my parents had their reception there 35 years ago! It is a beautiful place with ahomely atmosphere and friendly staff but what put us off most was the price of the "hidden extras" - the main concern being that we would have been required to book out all the bedrooms in the hotel on the night of our wedding for our guests (in total this would have been over £2000) so we decided against. Good location in Beaulieu close to the river.
