Friars Court

Seventeenth-century Friars Court has been a family home for generations and remains so to this day; its mediaeval origins were as a place of quiet rest for travelling pilgrims. The four acres of part-moated, landscaped grounds around the house remain a green and peaceful haven of tranquil seclusion which may now be hired as a venue for civil ceremonies and/ or receptions.       An absolute dream venue
      Beautiful rustic venue which you can use as a blank canvass to turn into something which is unique and perfect to you. You can get married outside under the rose arbour surrounded by a slow flowing river then enjoy a proper barn reception all glistening with fairy lights. Jeffrey is the ultimate legend who makes every wedding an absolute dream.

      Wonderful venue
      We went to look around Friars Court, but unfortunately the dates weren''t right for us. However, the gardens are gorgeous and Jeffrey is wonderful and I just know he would do everything he could to make sure you had your perfect day. The atmosphere is really friendly and relaxed, but I can see you could have as formal or as informal a wedding as you wanted to here. I really recommend visiting and having a look at the website.

      Hosts were fantastic. Venue was gorgeous we were treated like real VIP’s. They gave us the wedding we had dreamed of.
