Wysing Arts Centre is a leading arts organisation and charity set within an 11-acre rural site just outside of Cambridge. We support artists at all stages of their careers by providing time, space and resources through residencies, commissions, partnerships, events and a Young People’s programme.

We are so excited that we can also open up our space for weddings. Our site is ideal for festival-style celebrations of up to 300 guests, with room for camping, food vans, marquees, and outdoor ceremonies, plus overnight stays in either our beautiful Grade II listed farmhouse our our private studio apartment.

We also have plenty of indoor spaces including our iconic Project Space, a converted hay barn usually used by artists for large scale work-in-progress artrworks and events. This large space can seat up to 80 guests banquet style, and leads out directly to our outdoor event spaces.

Unique and Special: Wysing offers a one-of-a-kind setting for celebrations, combining a creative rural backdrop with striking contemporary buildings and wide-open spaces. We only do a few Weddings a year, offering your guests something unlike any other venue they have attended before.

Support a non-profit oragnisation: All income from out celebration bookings goes directly towards supporting our programme of artists residencies, commissions and our young people's programme.

Creative Freedom: We operate on a dry-hire basis, giving you complete freedom to choose your own suppliers, décor and unique activities. All bookings are Fri - Sun which means that there's no pressure on the day of your wedding, everything can be set up the day before and clean up can wait for the day after.

Environmentally Friendly: Powered almost entirely by our solar farm, your celebration can be as sustainable as it is unforgettable. .

Values driven and Inclusive: Inclusivity is at the heart of Wysing — we welcome and celebrate all partnerships, and our 2025 site upgrades have made our pathways and s studio accommodation even more accessible.
