We are so pleased we decided to choose Woodlands Park Hotel for our wedding venue. They could not have done more to ensure our day ran smoothly, on time and looked absolutely perfect with every detail taken care of. The staff were polite and professional and our wedding coordinator Jade and operations manager Kieran outstanding. Thank you!

My husband and I choose Woodland Park Hotel Cobham for our wedding venue after checking out other local locations. We booked the whole hotel for the night so we could fully relax with our close family and friends. It felt as though Jade, Kieran and team took care of everything for us without us having to worry. We loved the rooms and the atmosphere of us having the exclusive use of the Hotel The breakfast we received on the morning was lovely. The night before the wedding I was able to invite additional friends over and we sat chatting round the open fire. On the day of the wedding Jade, Kieran and team were fabulous. They had everything in place and we never had to ask for anything. The day went so smoothly and we loved every minute of it. We thank all the staff for keep the Surprise wedding from our guests a secret, and for all there hard work and making our wedding extremely special. :)

Ruined wedding day and an allergic reaction!

My husband and married here in April 2016. Parts of the day were amazing e.g. the ceremony & evening reception. I believe this is because the staff were not required for much of these elements of the day. We paid a substantially large amount of money and were extremely disappointed with the food and service. None of our guests were greeted or directed by staff the whole day resulting in both of our parents and others missing the cake cutting and part of the first dance. The food served was not what we agreed; cold, flavourless and undercooked, peculiar as the food at our tasting was exquisite. We found out later, the chef who did our tasting had left. We were not informed nor offered another tasting. The main reason for leaving this review, is ALLERGIES. My eldest cousin experienced an allergic reaction to a dessert that I had on the menu specifically for allergy sufferers. Despite stressing the severity of my cousin’s anaphylactic allergies several times, a binding agent he and I (the BRIDE) is allergic to was still used! I skipped my dessert for more photographs but it scares me that I could have ended up in hospital on my wedding day! For this, I cannot recommend Woodlands for attention to detail, especially with allergies, so I advise you not to take the risk. There were other things I specifically asked for that were ignored as well. Please note, the current General Manager has only been there since 5th July and we didn’t deal with him. Let’s hope he can turn things around, whip the staff into shape and last longer than his predecessor - 4 months! I think it’s safe to say we do not wish to return to Woodlands Park Hotel any time soon.

We were married here in April 2016 and cannot recommend it enough. The hotel is beautiful, classic and elegant. It has also been recently refurbished so the rooms are stunning; the grounds are also lovely for photos. the biggest 'selling point' though is the team of people working 'behind the scenes' to make your dream day happen - they are what sets this venue apart. The Wedding Manager who helped us was such a professional, a real safe pair of hands who we could trust with every detail. Every time we spoke to her, she was so on top of everything, we could relax knowing that everything was taken care of. The Chef was amazing and helped us to design the perfect menu for our big day during a private food tasting. Our guests loved the food, especially the vegetarians - one of them even commenting that it was the best vegetarian option they had ever had at a wedding. Our 'on the ground' Operations Manager for the day was invaluable, unflappable and smiled the whole day - we didn't realise how much help we would need on the day and couldn't thank him enough for the hundreds of little things he did on the day to make sure everything went smoothly for us. There were so many 'little touches' which were done for us without us even having to ask, it felt amazingly personal. Last but not least, the cost of the package they offered us was amazing value for what it included - which meant that we had more budget to spend on everything else! For anyone looking for a dream venue in Surrey you will struggle to find better value for money.

My husband and I held our wedding at Woodlands Park in December 2014, it is just the most amazing setting for a winter wedding with the huge Christmas tree in the reception area and the roaring open fire that the staff kept going all day (I expect it would be an equally perfect summer venue with the lovely grounds that the reception rooms open straight out onto). The décor with the wood panelling and big staircases and balconies are great for photographs. The staff are all amazing without exception and just can’t do enough for you. Lucy was our wedding coordinator and thought of things that we hadn’t considered, she put our minds at rest right from the start and we knew that we were in good hands. Peter took over on the day and made sure that everything went without a hitch from a timing perspective, making sure the guests were all in the right places at the right time, announcing speeches and even making sure that flowers were moved around the venue as the day progressed into the evening. We also used the DJ and the florist recommended by the hotel and both were exceptional. We really can’t recommend this place highly enough, if you are thinking of booking your wedding here – don’t hesitate!!!

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at Woodlands Park Hotel and it was the perfect day, made so special by the efforts of all the staff at the hotel both in the planning and also on the day itself. The hotel looked stunning, warm and inviting, and with the enormous Christmas tree in the main reception it was perfect for our winter wedding.

My husband and I fell in love with Woodlands Park on one of your wedding open days back in 2012, we had only looked at one other Hotel but decided to stop our search as we knew it had to be Woodlands! We booked our wedding for 17th May 2014 with the help of the fantastic wedding planner Katie - she was outstanding - from start to finish her attention to detail and professionalism always shone through. On our wedding day we had the help of Peter - well what a charming man! Nothing too much - fantastic customer service. He was extremely professional and the day ran like clockwork, everything was so smooth, it went better that we had ever imagined. The food was second to none, from the canapes to the main meal and the evening buffet it was all wonderful. Everything came out in perfect timing and was hot and delicious. The suppliers that are recommended are also excellent - from the chair covers, flowers and DJ. We would recommend Woodlands Park and all your recommended suppliers to everyone we know who is planning a wedding. The rooms at the Hotel were out of this world and breakfast the next day was wonderful too.

We cannot thank the staff at Woodlands Park Hotel enough for creating a wedding for us that exceeded our expectations and was a truly wonderful day. A special thank you has to go to Katie for all her help in the preparations leading up to the day and Jess for being so attentive and incredibly helpful on the day, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was perfect, from the way the rooms were decorated, the delicious food to the courteous staff. We had an amazing day and everyone involved could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating, in fact everyone appeared to go out of their way to ensure the weekend was nothing but perfect. We would not hesitate to recommend Woodlands Park Hotel and thank all staff involved for helping make the happiest day of our lives a day we won't forget.

Our wedding was amazing, it could not have gone any better, the staff were so attentive, really looked after you and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel pulled out all the stops and suggested little extra touches which made it even more memorable.
