  Perfection

  From booking to departure, from cleaners to wedding organiser (Cheyenne) it was a perfect day for us and we’ve both been married twice before so we can compare!
  
  They were all so supportive and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were made to feel very special and spoiled as soon as we arrived. The rooms are stunning and the service was always exemplary but never intrusive.

  From booking to departure, from cleaners to wedding organiser (Cheyenne) it was a perfect day for us and we’ve both been married twice before so we can compare!
  
  They were all so supportive and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were made to feel very special and spoiled as soon as we arrived. The rooms are stunning and the service was always exemplary but never intrusive.

  What a day, what a wedding, what a service!

  Most people only plan on marrying once and want to to be the most magical and stress free day of their lives, the team at Woodlands Park have been nothing but supportive and transparent the whole time from booking all the way until checking in post wedding too! We felt like kings and queens for the day of the wedding, nothing was too much trouble for any of the team! We chose to decorate ourselves, having had a vision from seeing the stunning reception and the Oak Room where we chose to hold our ceremony. The team were so supportive in helping us set up the decor (not part of their job), their valued expertise definitely put an anxious bride at ease to say the least. On the day Shaldon, Cheyenne & Magdi blew us away with their coordination of everything, for helping me (the bride) get 5 minutes of fresh air from the bridal suite on the day, Shaldon calming me (again the bride) when it was time to walk down the aisle and Cheyenne for all the planning and emails and phone calls to ensure we had absolutely everything ready. The day went off without a hitch and we loved every single minute of it! The Wedding breakfast was fantastic and the way they catered for those on our guest list with intolerance or allergies, surpassed even the guests expectations! One commenting, they have never been so full at a wedding and she usually carries snack bars to eat afterwards! Our guests who chose to stay at the hotel were invited to a private breakfast the day after, (45 total) and the spread they put on was absolutely out of this world. The Woodlands Park Hotel team are outstanding and are an asset to the hotel in general. The venue itself is sublime, especially if you like that national trust historic Manor House vibe. We cannot wait to find an excuse to go back and stay and wish we could do it all over again!

  The best day of our lives!!!

  I don’t really know where to start as the day went without a glitch! It was perfect from start to finish!
  The whole team at woodlands park hotel which is Cheyenne, Shaldon, all the waiters and waitresses, the bar staff and reception staff were second to none, they did the most amazing job to give us a day we will never forget!
  It really was out of this world and the best day of our lives! This hotel certainly is the most amazing venue and I am so grateful we got to have our wedding day here!

  Fabulous wedding!

  The first time we visited, we knew Woodlands Park Hotel was the right venue for our wedding. We’d looked at a lot of venues on line and had visited about ten of them, but we’d always had some reservations. Not so with Woodlands Park! We loved the venue itself: the beautiful rooms - the grand entrance hall; several room options for a civil ceremony (though the atmospheric Oak Room was quickly our favourite); the lovely grounds and outside patios. We could see there was loads of potential even if the weather was unkind (though on the day we were lucky with lots of sunshine.) We were very impressed with Cheyenne, the wedding coordinator we met on our first visit. She was so engaging - professional, helpful, interested, friendly, and she readily and patiently discussed all the issues we wanted to raise and, whilst doing so, demonstrated a great knowledge of the hotel's wedding operations and the issues we would need to decide. Cheyenne has maintained that approach throughout our wedding planning and has been a pleasure to work with. We loved too, that we could have exclusive use of the hotel. Some of our guests and family stayed two nights giving our wedding the feeling of a grand house party. With mixed ethnicities, we asked for some adaptation of the standard menu which was agreed: we really appreciated this flexibility. We had excellent feedback from our guests who loved the venue, the food, and who enjoyed the whole event. We ourselves had a fabulous wedding weekend. A lot of that was down to the hard work, professionalism and good-humoured engagement of the staff at Woodlands Park Hotel, especially Shaldon, the Conference and Banqueting Manager. Now all we need to do is win the lottery so we can reside at Woodlands Park more permanently!

  Perfection!

  We cannot fault the work of Cheyenne in the lead up to our special day. Everything was absolutely perfect and each detail was attended to as we requested. We felt fully in control of how the day would look, feel and run, which meant we could relax and enjoy our day, safe in the knowledge that Woodlands Park Hotel had everything under control. If we could get married again and experience this all over, we would.

  We cannot fault the work of Cheyenne in the lead up to our special day. Everything was absolutely perfect and each detail was attended to as we requested.   Beautiful venue for a Christmas wedding with wonderful food and a great team

  As with many 2020 couples, we had to move around our wedding plans a few times. By October the original venue was no longer an option due to Corona and we were desperately trying to find an alternate venue for the reception only (as the civil registry itself was scheduled at our local Town Hall). We reached out to various venues in Surrey and Sussex. This is when we got a call-back from Woodlands Park Hotel who walked us through our various options and were so very accommodating under the circumstances. Our second rescheduled date was November 7th which got scuppered when the second lockdown commencing November 5th was announced. Once again Woodland Park was understanding and offered either a full refund or rescheduling to a new date, and we chose to re-book for December 12th.
  
  Throughout this process all the staff we interacted with at Woodlands Park Hotel (Emma, Charlotte and Katie) were polite to the extreme, helpful and always looking for solutions. On the day itself we could not have been happier with the food and wine which was top notch, and David and his team made sure everything went smoothly. Further the hotel’s outdoor grounds, Christmas decorations and roaring fire were spectacular, a hit with our guests and provided some beautiful photographs.
  
  Every couple looking for a wedding venue should give consideration to Woodlands Park Hotel as they are clearly an establishment that treats people with respect and co-operation during tough times. We had to choose our hotel without seeing it and the food without tasting it, and I hope that this review might give confidence to any other couples having to do the same in choosing Woodlands Park Hotel.

  Incredible micro-wedding at Woodlands Park

  Like many couples, my fiance and I had our original April 2020 wedding cancelled due to Covid and made the decision to move it to December 2020. We'd always planned to get married in a church (which we did), however, we originally had a different venue booked for our reception. Long story short they were awful and we were left with no option but to cancel 3 days prior to the wedding. However, during what was an extremely stressful time we were lucky enough to speak to Emma from Woodlands Park Hotel who, with only three days notice, worked with us to create our dream wedding with 13 guests in attendance. Emma, Katie, David and the team at Woodlands Park could not have made the day more special for us, whilst complying with Covid rules. They were friendly, professional and always on hand to help (with all guests commenting on both of these things to us separately), but they also went over and above to ensure we had a wedding to remember. In addition to the incredible service (which we honestly couldn't praise enough), the hotel itself is stunning and provided us with ample opportunities for amazing photos, and the food was 5*. They also kindly upgraded us to a master suite which was hugely appreciated and made the whole experience even more special.
  In summary, we couldn't be more thankful that we had our wedding reception at Woodlands Park Hotel, and would strongly recommend them to any bride and groom looking for a beautiful venue with excellent food and service (plus a stress-free experience!) - you certainly won't regret getting married here.

  After postponing our bigger celebration due to Covid, my fiance and I decided that we just wanted to get married with our nearest and dearest and we booked a small registry office ceremony and started looking for venues around Surrey that could cater for our small ceremony. From the beginning Emma was incredibly helpful in organizing the whole process and even tho we did all the planning during the 2nd lockdown and were unable to see the room or taste the food we felt reassured by their experience and positive reviews and Emma patiently replied to all my questions. When the lockdown was lifted we were able to have our ceremony and reception and we couldn't have asked for a better experience, mini-weddings can still feel very special, if not more, we were able to enjoy the company of our guests and didn't feel rushed. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive and they very kindly upgrade us to a suite which helped us feel even more special. The food was absolutely delicious and I couldn't have asked for a better day. For any bride or groom unsure of how a Covid wedding will look like, do not worry, it can still feel very special and the team of Woodland Park Hotel will look after you.

  A fabulous pandemic wedding

  We had our wedding cancelled three times due to corona virus but we finally tied the knot on a cold but beautiful December day in 2020, with all the Covid-19 safety rules and regulations in place. There were no compromises made by Woodlands Park Hotel to the luxury, efficiency and delivery of what was an exceptionally wonderful day. The events team held the hope for us through the long months of uncertainly with ever changing legislation.
  
  They could not have been more accommodating or inventive. The attention to each and every detail to make our day spectacular and hospitable was palpable and evident throughout.
  
  Everything was delightful: from the stunningly decorated reception full of stylish Christmas warmth and cheer, to the people staffing the desk and our very welcoming and comfortable bridal suite, with tender touches like a hand written card from the manager and some beautiful chocolates, upon our arrival. We loved the quality and presentation of room service....oh la la, the food! Hip hip hurrah to the chefs!
  
  Consistency with service through out was notable; housekeeping were wonderful and worked to a high standard while being unobtrusive and fitting in around our timings.
  
  For our reception and wedding breakfast: we only had 6 guests, but it was set up in a style fit for a banquet. It was beautifully laid out, and the service was attentive, professional and appreciated by all. The meal was delicious and very much appreciated by us and our guests.
  
  It was a very different event to the one we originally planned, which was much larger and all singing and dancing, but this experience was a testament to our current history (e.g. covid restrictions etc), surreal but intimate, emotional and intensely worthwhile.

  Great wedding venue

  After having to rearrange the wedding 3 times due to covid (where the venue were amazing at accommodating everything) we finally had our day. The staff were amazing beforehand at arranging everything, then on the day everything ran so well, the staff on site couldn't have been more helpful and ensured that everything went down without any issues. We had the best day and would recommend to anyone considering booking!
