A very warm welcome awaits you and your guests at Bryngarw House, our stunning wedding venue nestled in the heart of the award-winning Bryngarw Country Park in Bridgend, South Wales.
Once a 15th-century farmhouse, Bryngarw House has retained its historic charm through its transformation into an elegant venue, where quality and stylish sophistication are guaranteed.
This idyllic 113-acre property is a place of rare and wondrous beauty, where lush green parklands give way to majestic woodlands and sprawling grasslands. Here, scenic paths wind their way through an oriental garden, across golden meadows enriched by birdsong, and along the banks of the swift-flowing River Garw. Rows of rhododendrons and azaleas mark the changing of the seasons, while the Keepers of Bryngarw stand guard, ready to awaken and tell their story.
Our highly experienced team are passionate about delivering the very best weddings and they will work closely with you to ensure everything runs perfectly on your big day!
Facilities and Capacity
Bryngarw House is available for exclusive hire, and it is licensed for civil ceremonies. The beautiful Traherne Suite, located in the main building, can comfortably accommodate 80 guests. The room is decorated in a classical French style and features fine chandeliers and impressive floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe the room in light.
After your ceremony, enjoy welcome drinks and delicious canapes on the patio overlooking the lawn, the private garden overlooking the Traherne Suite or within our conservatory.
The marquee is a permanent and grand fixture, with sufficient space for 100 seated guests or up to 120 people for an evening reception. It features a large bar and a dance floor, complete with twinkle lights, and it is decorated with elegant drapes.
We have two dedicated rooms for you and your wedding party to use on the morning of your wedding to get ready. We also offer a complimentary honeymoon suite and 18 rooms for overnight guests, with other hotels and bed and breakfasts just a short taxi ride away.
Services Offered
Bryngarw House offers a range of all-inclusive wedding packages tailored to suit various needs and budgets. There are packages for weddings with a minimum of 50 guests and packages for weddings of up to 120 guests.
All packages include exclusive use of the venue, reception drinks and canapes, an evening buffet, a three-course wedding breakfast, and much more. Our team of experienced chefs will work with you to create a bespoke menu tailored to your day, catering to all dietary requirements.
Our events team will also be on hand to provide assistance and answer any questions you may have.

The venue was absolutely breathtaking accompanied by the woodland surroundings. The style was elegant throughout the venue and offered a feeling of cosines which we loved. The food was delicious with many friends and family sending compliments, so we’d like to give credit to the chefs at Bryngarw house. The evening original buffet also exceeded expectations. Much for your staff. Our day was absolutely perfect for us and the staff at Bryngarw made sure that was possible especially Demi. Your venue didn't disappoint in any aspect. Lots of people commented on how special & beautiful it was. Start planning your dream day and come along to the Bryngarw House venue showcase on Sunday 22nd February.
Our doors will be open for engaged couples to see the venue styled, meet the wedding team and chat to some recommended suppliers.
You will be able to explore all areas of the venue, and envision your dream day from start to finish, from getting ready in our two exclusive dressing rooms, walking down the aisle in the Traherne Suite, to your wedding breakfast and marquee reception.
Not forgetting the 113 acres of lush parkland that will be the backdrop to your photos!
No appointments are needed, all are welcome from 11am to 3pm on the day. We can't wait to meet you.
Meet the team
Sam is one of our team of Wedding and Event Coordinators. Sam joined us in April 2024, following a career in weddings and events at The Lanelay Hall Hotel and The Bear Hotel.
Holly is one of our team of Wedding and Event Coordinators. Holly joined us in April 2024, having completed a degree in Sociology at the University of Bristol.
Michael has been our Head Chef since September 2019. Before joining, Mike enjoyed a distinguished career in hospitality working across leading south Wales venues including the Wales Millennium Centre and The Old Custom House, Penarth.
