The Tall Ship is Glasgow’s most unique event venue, perfect for weddings, parties, dinners, concerts, and more.
Built in 1896 on the River Clyde, Glenlee is now the only Clyde-built sailing ship still afloat in the UK.
Gift yourself and your guests to an unforgettable experience. We can accommodate up to 150 guests for dining and 200 for a drinks reception onboard. We partner with our trusted caterer, Regis Banqueting, while also allowing external catering. An in-house bar is available, with drinks packages ready to pre-order.

We offer full-day, half-day, and evening venue hire. Prices depend on the type of hire and the day of the week but all options include the following:
- Exclusive hire of the entire ship, including all four levels and museum spaces
- Private quiet room and a separate area for the couple
- Ceremony included in the price
- Capacity for up to 150 seated guests or 200 standing
- Dedicated in-house event coordinator, available throughout the planning process and on the day
- Full professional event staffing
- Fully serviced in-house bar with all glassware included
- Choice of round or trestle tables, with chairs provided
- Linen and tartan runners available (laundering charges apply)
- PA system, TV screen, projector and wireless microphones
- Event lighting included, featuring over 100 electric candles
- Four easels provided for welcome signs
- Advance access for decoration setup and storage
- Post-event decoration storage available

Utterly unique!
The staff were all so nice also, nothing was too much, and the wee bar onboard had a nice selection too.
Definitely recommend and hope I can come back to ceilidh down the deck again soon!
Brilliant Wedding Experience
The way the wedding was organized outside on the deck and then downstairs for the food and ceilidh was really well managed.
It was a lovely day being able to celebrate their marriage on The Tallship!
Would definitely host my own events here in the future.
