We got married here on the 3rd of October 2025 and when we tell you it was a perfect day, we mean it! Storm Amy may have been raging outside, but the wonderful people at House for an Art Lover made it feel like pure sunshine inside (shout out to Kate, Amber and Amy in particular). Our guests all commented that the food was wonderful (we agree). One of our vegan guests even told us how excited she was at having a choice at our buffet, and that all of it was delicious. We are so glad that we chose House for an Art Lover as the setting for the best day of our lives. If you are reading this while still considering whether you want to get married here, just do it. From the start, communicating with the engine works was easy. They answered emails very fast and we were able to go for a viewing within the week. The staff are amazing leading up to the wedding, they send you numbers from the vendors they’ve worked with before, a mockup timeline and plenty of photos for inspiration. Our day went absolutely perfectly and would highly recommend using this venue. If we could do it all again, we would change nothing

Booking BAaD for our wedding party was one of the easiest parts of the process of organising our celebrations. We were married in Brooklyn and wanted to celebrate with our friends and family back in Glasgow in a venue that was iconic and would be the perfect platform for a great night out. BAaD did not fail, mainly down to the wedding events co-ordinator Jess and her team. We did not need to worry about a thing. Our only wish is that we could have spent more time there! Big thank you also to our content creator Paperrings Collective; our photographers Otago Street Collective and our DJ, Anti Wedding Wedding DJ.

We cannot fault anything about our day! Everything ran smoothly and was planned to perfection. Tabetha and the team were fabulous and so accommodating - even with last minute tweaks! There is nothing we would change about our amazing day!
