The Talbot was just a fantastic venue for our wedding on the 17th May this year. It was the only venue we viewed and when we met Krystyna we just knew it was the place for us. You won't meet another wedding and event planner like Krystyna, she is extremely experienced, personable and I felt like I had known her for ages. Krystyna and the Talbot were so flexible with our requests, and also had some great ideas and suggestions for our special day, as well as recommended suppliers that know the Talbot extremely well which made it really easy for us to book some of our main things like DJ, decoration, photographer and hair and make up. The weather was on our side on our wedding day which meant all of the guests got to make use of the all areas at The Talbot; the drinks reception in the garden and terrace was beautiful, the wedding breakfast BBQ was brilliant, lots of comments from our guests about how great the food was. The courtyard was just perfect throughout the evening, so many guests enjoyed having a drink and chatting out there, whilst others were throwing some moves on the dance floor inside. Krystyna was great at making sure everyone was where they were meant to be throughout the day and she even took Keith and I away for 15 mins before the wedding breakfast, got us a drink and some canapes and just said take some time together which was just such a lovely thing to do. We are so pleased that we had our wedding at the Talbot and cannot wait to go back on our first anniversary!! :-)

We got engaged in February and always knew we wanted to marry on the same date as our anniversary. Due to a few other factors, we decided we didn’t want to wait and set our hearts on July 2025. Yes, we gave ourselves five months to plan a wedding. We viewed a couple of venues, and The Talbot was the second one we visited, but from the moment we arrived, it felt different.
On the day we met Krystyna, I had honestly had one of the worst days and wasn’t in the head space to think about wedding planning at all. Within minutes, she completely turned that around. She has such a calm, reassuring presence and seemed to understand us as a couple almost instantly. As two middle children who aren’t used to being in the spotlight, it felt very strange focusing on what we wanted. Krystyna made that feel natural and comfortable. She was gentle, supportive, and quietly confident in guiding us, never pushy, always reassuring. She made everything feel possible and manageable, which meant more to us than she probably realises.
We had our ceremony in the Barns and our wedding breakfast in Emma’s Lounge, with 20 of our closest family and friends. The spaces were absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited to an intimate celebration. The atmosphere was warm, romantic, and relaxed, exactly what we had hoped for.
Krystyna let us know ahead of time that a new menu would be available, and there was so much to choose from. We’re so grateful we decided to stay the night before, as I was able to try both of our menu choices and the food was incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Our guests commented on how amazing everything was, and we were especially impressed with how thoughtfully the team catered for our gluten-free and vegan guests. Everyone felt included and well looked after, which was so important to us.
The staff on the day were outstanding. Every single person was attentive, kind, and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. They made our guests feel welcome from the moment they arrived and ensured everything ran so smoothly. Because of them, we were able to fully relax and soak up every moment without worrying about a thing.
Krystyna, thank you for everything you did for us. You were so caring and graceful in the way you looked after us throughout the whole process. We truly felt supported every step of the way. We wish you all the very best any couple would be so lucky to have you by their side.
Choosing The Talbot was one of the best decisions we made, and we will always be so grateful to the entire team for giving us a day we will treasure forever, thank you!

We got married in the Talbot in July and it was everything we hoped for and more! We loved the venue as soon as we saw it- it had a lovely feel to it and the barn area was stunning. Krystyna was brilliant from start to finish- she was so professional and on top of everything- but better yet so friendly and fun! We loved going to meet with her to plan our day- she was so accommodating and helpful and it was clear she genuinely cared. Our day was so wonderful- I wish we could do it all over again!

We got married in May at The Talbot and had the most wonderful day.
The weather was gorgeous which meant we were able to make use of the garden and the courtyard to its fullest!!

It was the most perfect day ever, Krystyna and her team were so professional and made everything so perfect, we could ask her anything and she would sort it, the amount of effort she put into our day was unbelievable! Everything was just amazing, thank you so much!

We had a wedding of circa 60 day guests and a further 40 for the evening. From start to finish we were managed with the utmost of professionalism and efficiency. Krystyna made sure every detail and request was dealt with and made us feel at ease. Weddings are stressful and we felt very assured that our day was going to go to plan

We cannot even put into words how wonderful this venue is, the setting, the rooms, the facilities, the staff, the atmosphere… everything!

From the moment we met Kystyna, we knew this was our venue, her energy and enthusiasm is amazing and she ensured every little last detail was perfect for us, and our guests were so impressed and couldn’t praise her enough for all her efforts.

The staff were all amazing, the day was planned to the minute and everything ran so smoothly without a hitch, the best day we could have asked for… nothing was too much effort and we felt so accommodated!

The best wedding day ever! The venue is stunning, we wanted ‘the barn’ feel but at a fraction of the cost! Beautiful grounds. I can not recommend this venue highly enough!! We had our perfect wedding day here with the help of Krystyna the amazing wedding planner and the lovely staff here. We felt so supported and reassured all the way along in the planning process. The venue has lots of charm and is also more budget-friendly despite being such an incredible venue!

We had our wedding at the Talbot last year in August. The day was unforgettable and stress free, thanks to the amazing Krystyna and her team. We’re heading back there next weekend to celebrate our one year anniversary and look forward to reminiscing about our wedding!
