The team at The Talbot are absolutely amazing! From the very first visit until the big day, Krystyna and her team were always there to help and support us with planning our perfect wedding and happy to answer all my random questions! The day itself went so smoothly thanks to all of their planning and organising and the food was absolutely fabulous! The bridal suite was stunning and spacious for me and my four bridesmaids to get ready in and spent a very comfortable night in the beautiful four-poster bed. I also had friends and family staying in the hotel and it was a lovely experience to have another great meal in the morning with all of our closest friends and family. Both days they catered to all sorts of dietary requirements (Me and Mum are Ceoliac and about half our friends are Vegetarian or Vegan) and they were always checking that everyone was happy and had enough food and drinks. Overall, the best day of my life- no regrets and cannot wait to come back and spend our anniversary here next year!

My husband and I got married at the Talbot Inn on 1st June 2019 and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. The Talbot is beautiful and quaint with a barn, lovely gardens and a big reception room with chandeliers on the ceiling - perfect setting for a wedding. Krystyna our wedding planner at The Talbot was so nice and very helpful through every step of the proccess leading up to the day. The honeymoon suite as well as other rooms our guests were staying in were beautiful and clean, and service was very good. Staff were all friendly and accomodating. All in all The Talbot is a beautiful hotel and a perfect venue for a wedding!

We live in the U.S. and traveled to England to have our wedding with our family and we couldn’t have been more happy or amazed at how our whole experience turned out at the Talbot! From the very beginning, Krystyna was super helpful, very responsive and informative about everything we needed answered and done! I can’t believe how easy it was planning a wedding in a whole other country was because of Krystyna and her team. We stayed at the Talbot Inn the night before and night of the wedding and everyone was raving about how adorable the whole place was and how friendly the staff were, and they were so right! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Krystyna and our host Arvind, our experience was already better than we expected. Our rehearsal dinner that we thought would be more casual turned into a whole event thanks to Arvind and his amazing staff for their amazing planning! Our wedding was magical, and everything went perfectly to plan. The venue was gorgeous, the food was delicious, the dessert was even more delicious and our whole day was as perfect as could be. Even more so than we planned. We are pretty much saying thank you to Talbot Inn and their amazing people for making our wedding truly one of the most special days of our lives. We can’t wait to go back and visit!

We had our wedding here on Easter Saturday and it was genuinely the happiest weekend of our lives! We can not fault a thing First off Krystyna was such a pleasure helping us organise over the last year. Nothing was too much trouble and she said yes to everything I asked for, I swear that was all I heard her say ‘No problem!’ The venue was literally perfect, heaps of our guests got rooms both on the wedding night and on the wedding eve, the rooms were lovely, the staff are adorable, food was delicious, everything looked and felt wonderful! Francesco took care of us on our big day and he couldn’t have been more helpful and was real fun to be around too. Bar staff were lovely, the hotel reception staff were fab and Lea was pricelessly funny too! I hope not forgetting anything. I think it’s obvious that I really can’t praise this place enough So many guests have commented on how brilliant it was Thank you so much for helping us create such wonderful memories ??

We found The Talbot the perfect size to seat 67 at the Wedding Breakfast and for a total of 100 guests in the evening (although I do believe they can accommodate more). Krystyna was extremely helpful from start to finish and we were immediately put at ease by her expertise. We'd set our date last October and our April wedding could be accommodated. We met with Krystyna 3 or 4 times; nothing was too much trouble for her and we put our complete confidence in her. Their checklists, to finalise details, are extremely good and were also an aide-memoire to ourselves. When the day arrived, everything was perfect! We arrived after our church ceremony (but one can have ceremonies there), and received our guests in the lovely Garden Room where delicious canapes were served with the arrival beverages. There was ample time for photos in the garden prior to be seated for the Wedding Breakfast - the food was absolutely delicious and we would certainly recommend booking a Taster Evening - this was a huge factor and, we actually found it very helpful to take my two adult sons so that there was more of an informed choice and it was actually an evening of fun too! We decided on different wines for the actual day and this was easily accommodated. The waiting staff were swift and professional and the quality of food on the day was equally as good as our Taster Session. What we found most beneficial was having the accommodation n the same location; this made such a difference to the guests who'd travelled further to be able to check in and settle without the worry of driving back later that evening. As said, a perfect day from start to finish! Thank you to everyone at The Talbot, we would highly recommend them!

We got married on 20 September Krystina was so helpful we felt very special. The decor by Ether Events was outstanding the whole day was wonderful. Rooms booked and our guests enjoyed themselves would really recommend venue. In fact we intend to celebrate our first anniversary there.

We got married at The Talbot last month and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. It was perfect. Krystyna, the wedding co-ordinator, made us feel at ease instantly. As a woman who manages events for a living, I have high expectations and a tendency to want to manage all the details but I knew from the first meeting with Krystyna that we need not worry about anything. All of the staff were incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The majority of our guests (60) stayed overnight. The feedback on the rooms was wholly positive and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the restaurant overlooking their beautiful garden the next morning. All in all, a wonderful experience and a day we will cherish forever. Thank you Krystyna and the team for helping us create some very special memories.

The reception for our daughter’s Wedding was held at the Talbot last Saturday and day was everything we had dreamed of and more. From the first time we met Krystyna, the Event’s Manager we felt totally confident that everything would be done to make the day very special. We were made to feel that our daughter’s wedding was the most important date in her diary nothing was too much trouble. The function rooms and courtyard at The Talbot are lovely and have so much atmosphere making it perfect place for a wedding. The food was all delicious and the staff were all efficient and very pleasant ensuring our guests were well looked after. Thank you to Krystyna and all the staff at The Talbot we would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone.

Absolutely amazing!! Krystyna and the team helped us over the course of a year to create the most magical day for our friends and family. They host numerous weddings every week yet they still made ours feel like the most important event they were organising, everything was very personal and no request was too much trouble. I would highly recommend the talbot for your special day, it’s the most beautiful venue with amazing staff.

After a couple of initial bouts of miscommunication in the early wedding prep, we have to say that we had a wonderful wedding day at The Talbot. Russell was an absolute gem on the day - nothing was a problem or issue at all. He knew his job inside out and went out of his way to make sure that we and our guests had everything that was needed, and were where we needed to be. He even brought me a bucket of ice for my feet as my wedding shoes were aching on a particularly hot day, and put aside a plate of dinner for my toddler that didn't want to eat. The venue was decorated perfectly by Ether Events , and the staff were happy and helpful. The gorgeous, lit courtyard was a beautiful alternative, and another way to mingle with our guests in the evening. We are so grateful for all the help received from Russell and Krystyna, and highly recommend the venue.
