  Colin and Emma’s Wedding 12.08.23

  When my husband and I made a list of venues to visit, The Talbot was at the top and after our first walk through the courtyard we both knew this was only place we wanted to get married!
  Luckily for us it ticked all our other boxes too;- style, location, budget, exclusive use, accommodation for guests, amazing food and incredible staff.
  We had such a fantastic wedding day at The Talbot, we wanted to do it all again! The whole day just flew by.
  Being a bit of a control freak it was very hard to let go of the reins on the day and trust that everything would run smoothly, but because of the amazing Krystyna and her team, that is exactly what I did!
  I didn’t have one stressful moment because she was there every step of the way making sure it all ran like clockwork. Krystyna was wonderful to work with and instilled such faith and confidence throughout the planning. We felt so supported and that our wedding was as important to The Talbot as it was to us. All our guests raved about the venue, staff service and food. A special mention to Nicholas as well. He helped me with my dress as I was walking across the courtyard to the ceremony and was wonderful at calming the wedding party’s nerves before walking down the aisle.
  We were blessed with lovely weather, although that made the Wisley Suite Reception room very hot in the evening and windows couldn’t be opened due to noise pollution. I have been told The Talbot are installing air con for next year!
  From start to finish it was a magical day at a wonderful venue. Thank you.

  Wedding at The Talbot, Surrey on Sat 1st June 2024

  Got married at this hotel in June this year, it really was the most beautiful day, so much better than we could have imagined.
  The hotel is just so beautiful, old & full character.
  I can not even begin to express our gratitude for Krystyna (our wedding coordinator), helping & being apart of our special moment, the whole day ran so smoothly because of her.
  All of our guests commented on how beautiful the hotel was, how delicious the bbq food was & that it was just the nicest wedding to attend...I am so proud to have married my husband at this hotel, it was the best experience ever.
  I put this down to the hard working, friendly, professional Krystyna & all the staff.
  All the recommendations for DJ, Photographer & Event decoration made by the hotel all very much brilliant, professional & just awesome people to work with (I really do highly advise that you go with the hotels preferred vendors, it takes away hours of stress & searching lol).
  We will of course be coming back to celebrate future anniversaries, we genuinely love this hotel & feel very privileged to have got married here, we shall forever have beautiful memories of The Talbot.
  Can not recommend this hotel enough for a wedding, party or leisurely stay...

  The perfect celebration of our marriage

  Krystyna, our wedding coordinator at The Talbot, was professional and very welcoming from our first meeting in May 2023 and right through to our wedding day on 29 June 2024. The ceremony room was so pretty and perfect for an intimate wedding with close family and friends. We choose to have more of a celebration of our marriage than a formal affair and The Talbot were very accommodating and produced a wonderful barbecue as the wedding meal which all our guests enjoyed and commented on the quality of it. The rooms were decorated beautifully by Ether Events and hit just the right note for us - pretty but not overdone. And the music for the evening by DJ2K had all our guests on the dance floor. The new air conditioning system in the Wisley Suite definitely helped as well as it was a warm evening!

  Wedding Bells

  Me and my wife had our Wedding reception here in May 2024! Was absolutely amazing!
  Proper attention to detail, great staff and customer service, clean and comfy Rooms and delicious food! Especially the Pizzas. Reasonably priced aswell!
  We had an amazing/Special day and definitely recommend and massive thank you to our wedding coordinator Krystyna for all your continuous support and help on the day!

  Perfect Wedding Venue

  Wow! Where do we start? From start to finish, everything about having our wedding at The Talbot was perfect. From the initial reception we received from Krystyna at the wedding fair in a gloomy November day to our actual wedding day and beyond Krystyna, Avand and the whole team including Grace, Lucas, Olivia and all the others who serve is and looked after our guests were truly amazing.
  The recommended suppliers Ether events and DJ2K ( Danny) made the place look and sound magical. We were looked after the whole day with no stress thanks especially to Krystyna who not only organised everything with such precision but also made every planning visit a joy and personally looked after us both so well on the day it was like having your own fairy godmother. Krystyna made us feel so special as though we were the only couple getting married at the Talbot. She really couldn’t do enough for us. The food throughout was delicious and perfectly presented. We found excuses to return the next few days after the wedding just to soak up as much joy as we could. In addition the beautiful historical building and value for money and dog friendly too make this the perfect venue for a beautiful wedding.

  Great wedding venue

  Had my wedding here just before Christmas, and it was perfect. It has so much character and charm, nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff were all very professional and helpful.
  We used most of the suppliers suggested and we couldn't have been any happier with all of them, DJ, photographer, cake, decorations and it helped to remain in budget. Everything went like clockwork.

  Just perfect!

  Myself and my now husband, got married at The Talbot last September and it was absolute perfection!
  From the start, their wonderful wedding co-ordinator, Krystyna, helped guide us through the process all the way through to our big day.
  Every single member of staff were brilliant and went above and beyond (especially in the 32 degree weather we had!).
  Myself and a few family members stayed the night before the wedding and had a lovely meal. I was anxious I wouldn't sleep very well due to nerves, but the bed in the bridal suite was so comfortable, I slept straight through till morning!
  We also stayed at the hotel the night of the wedding, along with friends and family, to which everyone told us how lovely their rooms were and how well they slept.
  In the morning we got a beautiful breakfast buffet, which far exceeded mine and my families expectations.
  As part of our wedding package, we get to stay in the hotel for our 1st anniversary and we cannot wait to go back (My dad also insists on coming along as he loved the place so much too haha)!
  The Talbot is stunning, well looked after, the food is amazing and the staff are exceptional!

  The Talbot - December 2023

  We couldn’t believe our luck when we found the talbot, it was everything we wanted for our wedding venue. This was made even better with the communication we had in the lead up to our big day. Krystyna always made time to meet with us and discuss all of our ideas and visions for our wedding, and was invaluable on the day, from setting everything up to walking us through the steps.
  We are looking forward to visiting the Talbot in the future and the amazing memories that we now have to look back on. Me and my husband would highly recommend The Talbot, especially if you are looking for an intimate venue with a rustic feel that you can tailor to your vision for your perfect wedding day.

  Mr and Mrs Porter

  We got married on Friday 4th August 2023. We adored The Talbot from our very first visit. Krystyna, thank you for looking after us from day one. No question was too big or small and you made us feel relaxed throughout the whole process. Our guests had the most amazing day and so did we. Thank you to the whole team at The Talbot! We loved every minute.

Special thanks go to Krystyna, who made the whole process, from our first viewing to the morning after the wedding, seamless and stress free. The Talbot and Krystyna can help to make your wedding bespoke to you. Krystyna also had recommended suppliers for DJ, Decor and Photography etc, which we were very grateful for. We would definitely recommend The Talbot for your special day.
