    Tanya on 29 April 2020

We got married just before the lockdown started in Britain, so it was all a little stressful in the final days leading to the big day. Charlotte was amazing, she stayed in contact with us the week leading to the wedding, she was there on time on the day, and ready to go. Her presence was so calm and you hardly knew she was there while while you were busy. For the group photos, she organised people really well. She was just brilliant for the whole day and I would strongly recommend her for your special day. Her communication after the wedding has been to very efficient. She emailed the photos quickly, and the book looks brilliant. For the natural and staged photos she got everything we wanted and more. Amazing photographer.

  • "Fabulous photos of our perfect day"
This testimonial was entered by Charlotte Mail Photography on 29 July 2019

Charlie and I want to thank you SO much for such fabulous photos of our perfect day. You took the time out to meet us beforehand to discuss requirements and expectations, you researched our venue and went to see it for yourself. You were unobtrusive on the day and took some beautiful, natural pictures capturing our guests and ourselves - you really captured the moment - it just went smoothly and seamlessly. You are so lovely, and we are so pleased that you were there with us on our day. Tracey & Charlie Oldham xxxxx

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of your service?

I offer 3 wedding photography packages: THE PHOTOS: Full day photography £900. THE PHOTOS + THE ALBUM: Full day photography + fine art album £1225. THE WORKS: Full day photography + album + choice of fine art frame OR 2 x duplicate mini parent albums £1400. *Please note these are 2020 wedding prices - visit my website for 2021 wedding packages.

What services do you offer?

I offer full day wedding photography, with the option to have an engagement shoot beforehand, smoke bombs on the day, a second shooter for capturing more angles & candids, and bespoke fine art wedding albums and prints.

What does the wedding package include?

All 3 packages include the following as standard: - Full day coverage from bridal prep to first dance - Carefully edited photos in my unique style - Personalised USB stick containing all high-resolution photos - Password-protected online gallery

How far in advance should I contact you?

There is no time limit on when you need to book me by, but I take most of my bookings around a year before the day. I'm still taking bookings for 2020 and have now started taking bookings for 2021. Contact as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No way! Your wedding will be have my undivided attention all day.

Are you able to travel?

Absolutely! I love to travel so please get in touch for a bespoke quote if your venue is outside of Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

What is the charge for travelling?

This depends on how far I am required to travel and whereabouts the venue is, as it will determine whether I need to book an overnight hotel stay. Please get in touch for a tailored quote.

What style of photos do you take?

My photography is a wonderful mix of candids and posed. I love documentary style photos that tell the story and capture all of those beautiful raw emotions of your wedding day, but I also believe there is still a place for posed photos of the bride & groom and their close family & friends - plus they look fab on your walls!

What kind of technology do you use?

I use full frame professional-level digital cameras and lenses, along with flashguns and stands for when the light gets low!

What kind of equipment do you use?

I only use professional level Sony full frame cameras, zoom & prime lenses and lighting equipment.

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Sure do! You will receive a password-protected online gallery to view all of your beautiful photos and share with your family & friends.

What''s the delivery time for photographic report?

Delivery of your fully edited digital images takes 4-6 weeks following the wedding day. USBs are ordered once the final gallery has been sent to you. Albums can take a few more weeks due to design and production time.

Do you send all the photos taken?

No I don't think you would appreciate photos where you're caught blinking! There will be occasions where I don't quite capture the moment as I intended, or my camera hasn't managed to focus in time so it is a little blurry - this is why I only edit and send photos that meet my high standards.

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

I am a single photographer but sometimes have an assistant with me on the day. I can provide a second shooter for an additional cost if you are keen to get a variety of angles and groom prep photos (if at a different location to the bride).

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

Although it is highly unlikely that I will be unable to make it on the day (and I haven't missed one yet), I understand that accidents can and do happen! In this case I have a fantastic network of photographers that I can call upon, and if for any reason you are unhappy with my replacement, I will provide a full refund.

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

As the producer of the photos, I own the copyright and do have the rights to publish any photos I take - for me this means to my website and social media. If for any reason you don't want me to, however, you can request this and I will honour your wish. I may occasionally request to publish in magazines or blog websites as a 'featured wedding', but I would always contact the couple beforehand to make sure you are happy for me to do this.

Do you charge per hour or per event?

I charge per event, but can tailor this if your event is shorter or longer than what I class as a typical full day wedding.

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Of course, just let me know what your requirements are and I will create a bespoke package for you.

What are the forms of payment?

I take deposits and payments for bookings by bank transfer.
