We knew this was the place for myself and my husband to spend our special day as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere and feel of the whole venue felt really warm and welcoming.

Becki was amazing and understood what we wanted for our wedding and helped us bring that to reality for the big day. Her organisation skills for everything kept us sane throughout the whole process!

We had an amazing time! From booking to set up to the night everything was so easy and accessible! We had a meeting beforehand to make sure we had everything we needed, the DJ was amazing and took requests on the night which meant everyone was happy! The venue helped us with the set up and made sure everything was perfect! They even went out and ensured we had disaronno in when the bride and groom drank them dry!! Thank you for an amazing night we recommend to everyone!!

We chose to have our UK wedding reception at the Halfway house after our wedding in Cyprus. We loved the marquee look of the function room. Becki looked after us in the booking process and and was really helpful, she answered any questions that we had and gave us suggestions too. On the evening Beth looked after us and ensured the night ran smoothly. We were also able to use a projector & screen provided by Halfway house so we could share some of our wedding photos. I would recommend choosing Halfway house for your wedding function or any other party you want!

From planning our wedding party with Becki to the end of our amazing night everything was perfect. All staff, room set up, food and drinks all first class. Wish we could do it all again

I cannot recommend the Halfway House wedding venue enough. From the first meeting to the last dance everything was professionally and thoughtfully done. We hosted our evening party here in September 2023 after getting married during the day. We actually booked the venue after going into the pub for Sunday lunch, and noticed there was a venue downstairs- we got to see it after our meal and booked straight away! Courtney made sure every detail was on point from the moment we booked and happily answered all my questions (there were a lot!). Beth was fantastic too, she helped with the planning and was there on the night of the party to ensure it ran smoothly. We went all out with a Vegas theme and poker tables – the venue gave us complete freedom for decorations and we were able to set up the night before. Most of our friends had never been before and they all commented about how lovely the venue was and some of them are thinking of hosting their parties here too! The draped ceiling and chandelier lights create a luxurious atmosphere. My husband and I had a great night dancing the night away with our friends and family!

Highly recommended for a wedding venue. It is such a beautiful setup inside and it was really easy to personalize it without going to too much expense. The staff were amazing, attentive and accommodating. Also good value for money.

We had our wedding and reception in the beautiful function room. With a marquee style room and twinkly lights, it was the perfect setting for what I wanted. And the food was amazing too!

From the very first appointment with the wedding planners, they catered to everything we wanted for our special day. Nothing was too much and the day went absolutely perfect.

We had the most amazing day Courtney was so attentive and there from the word go we could have wished for better. The venue is beautiful and once dressed was everything we hoped for. We will remember our day forever !!

The most amazing day from start to finish, it couldn't of been anymore perfect, the guys at halfway house Becki & Courtney really did listen and understand what I invisioned for my day and made sure it ran smoothly from 6am when poor becki was there making sure the room was decorated to my standard haha!! All the way till 1am when we left, the staff, the room, the price, the room is a blank canvas to be able to decorat as you please, honestly I could not recommend a better place to get married. You will be in fantastic hands!!

We had our wedding here in 2022, after a lot of postponements with covid (originally booked 2020) the team were fantastic at moving this for us!
The lead up to the wedding we had great communication and the day before we could drop things off and have a glimpse at how the tables would be set with our decorations.
The day itself went off without a hitch, or at least if anything did happen we were blissfully unaware! The ladies that helped run the show on the day knew exactly what they were doing and made the day run so smoothly!
The food was amazing! And to this day people still talk about how good it was!
We would definitely recommend anyone to have their wedding here, it's such a lovely setting thats hidden behind their pub (no interference from general public either) and there are beautiful settings not far for some photography pictures!
I'm even trying to convince the husband for a re do for our 10 year anniversary here!!

We were well looked after. To begin with there was a problem when the staff member in charge left but the new people were great, looked after us, honoured the previous arrangements and gave us a great price for a lovely venue. Relaxed atmosphere, excellent food, great venue.

The perfect venue for our autumn wedding, highly recommend and can't thank the events team (special mention to Courtney and Becki) and staff enough for helping to make a brides 'vision' a reality.

From the first viewing meeting we fell in love with the blank canvas the Esholt Suite offers, it really can be styled to any couples taste. For us it was whimsical autumn chic - think eucalyptus fairy lights, candles and white/sage pumpkins (everywhere). The beautiful draped fabric and canopy fairy lights offer the perfect backdrop to say 'I do' and create the illusion of dancing under the stars come disco time!

Nothing was too much trouble for the team, I had a lot of requests and ideas and they were all met with positivity and enthusiasm to deliver and that they did! We were always made to feel so welcome and at home when we visited for planning meetings and by the time the big day arrived it felt like we were truly celebrating with friends - I was so nervous to walk down the aisle but the moment I saw Courtney and Becki I felt instantly at ease.

We opted for a 3 course sit down meal and our guests still rave about the food and great portion sizes!! everything was seamless from the turnaround between ceremony and dinner during which time we took the opportunity to capture memories with our photographer against the beautiful autumn leaves as a backdrop. The room was dressed exactly as we had asked and envisaged and felt so cosy for our wedding breakfast. We opted for an acoustic singer (Matt Baxter) which worked perfectly and set the ambience. After dinner we used the beautiful fairy lit walkway to the esholt suite as a catwalk for the highly anticipated sparkler exit, the team were great at getting everyone into position and ensuring we captured the perfect shots! The room was then again turned around promptly and to such a high standard before we welcomed our evening guests and let our hair down on the dancefloor.

The fact that the bar is contained within the event space is perfect as it means your guests don't wander off and fill the dancefloor from start to finish! the outdoor courtyard is so pretty and again can be styled easily if desired.

We truly had the most magical day and every detail was perfect, it exceeded our expectations and we cant recommend this venue enough. its extremely good value for money and you will be blown away by the service.

We got lots of wonderful pics in the grounds of the Halfway house but Baildon Moor is a 4min drive away and the most beautiful backdrop too.

From the minute we walked in to looking around the venue, to the in depth conversations before even booking was amazing. We decided to book after such an easy decision. Courtney & Becki (even though she was on maternity leave) were both there when we went to look around and just fantastic service and gave us so many options but in a good way not where you couldn't decide. They were in contact with us every step of the way and so accommodating to any changes we made and even came up with suggestions for our perfect day.
The venue is just amazing and we couldn't have been happier how the whole day turned out. Nothing was too much trouble and the work they behind the scenes is fantastic.

The food was top notch and we met the head chef Scott a few times to discuss and make sure we were happy with the options. The General Manager Pete invited us in for a taster menu and was so welcoming and he went out of his way like the rest of the team to make sure our day was perfect.

To The Halfway team you were amazing and we couldn't have had a better day and that was down to your hard work and execution.

Amazing place and venue and we highly recommend anyone looking for a venue, this is the place for you.
