The Grange Venue is a wedding, sports, and entertainment venue in Peterborough, England. This contemporary space offers couples modern comforts and excellent amenities for an unforgettable event.

Facilities and Capacity

The Grange Venue accommodates 150 guests in a versatile marquee venue. Couples can customise the marquee's interior to a colour palette of their choice, crafting a celebration that's utterly their own. There are endless customisation options, with a selection of gorgeous uplighting, 32 interior colours, wall and ceiling drapes, and fairy lights. To-be-weds can also use their own decorations to bring even more character and personality to the venue. The location is ideal for guests from further afield, with 126 car parking spaces and a park and ride service to the train station and local hotels. The venue has two bars and commercial kitchens that serve wedding celebrations and other special events.

The Grange Venue offers nearlyweds an array of services and packages, with something for every taste. Each event package includes a large projector for couples to showcase their love on-screen, atmospheric lighting, and WiFi. Nearlyweds can create the perfect soundtrack for their wedding day with a high-quality sound system. Event hire includes marquee entrance drapes, chair and table covers, glassware, china plates, cutlery, and a cake table.

Cuisine

The Grange Venue has various catering options to suit all needs, working in partnership with local business Chef de la Maison. Nearlyweds can choose from afternoon tea, a hog roast, a barbeque, a buffet, and more. The caterer has packages for weddings of all sizes.

Do not use!

Sorry for the rant /essay!!
I just want to warn you all DO NOT use the grange (Netherton) for hall hire.. we’ve had the worst experience with them :( as much as we had the best wedding day, they have been the only ones to cause us stress!
On returning from our holiday we realised we had so much stuff missing/chucked. On the night of the wedding we grabbed as much stuff as we could whilst being told repeatedly we need to leave and collect the rest of the stuff the next day.. we went on holiday so had a friend collect our stuff so obviously she didn’t know everything we had.. anyways we was missing…
*2 floral baskets (handmade by mum)
* one large floral piece with 3 candles
* 20/30 white food platers
* 10 tiered cake stands
* 4 snack platters
* 1 (take a photo) sign
* 20 personalised pens
* Half a wedding cake and lots of cupcakes (some still in boxes)
As much as some of this is not important who has the right to take/chuck someone’s stuff?!!
We have since got the flowers back by the hired company we used (not ready to name) but they were told by the the staff at the grange they could take them and witnessed the platters etc get chucked in the bin..
When asking the grange(Nathan) for extra evidence on who took the rest he said he had already spent hours going through the cameras and it was quite clear the hired company took the lot. This also took 9 days to view camera footage of who took them.
I have since asked for an email address so I can explain everything I was not happy with, he has read the message and not bothered to reply.. we original booked with Abbie who was great! She left and then the run up to the wedding we was dealing with Sanjay even though our first meeting was meant to be with Nathan,who we waited half hour for before he txt and said Sanjay could just do it even though he didn’t know a lot to our questions..said someone would contact us never did..
A month before the wedding we was told we wasn’t allowed a champagne wall (hired) that they originally ok’d if we paid corgage fee..
The day before the wedding we was told we could have the hall from 1-5 to decorate. we get to the hall and its already being used.. Sanjay told us they’d be finished by 1:30 but no, we then asked the people ourselves and they told us they’d had it booked till 2. That meant the hired company sat for an hour not being able to do anything which then meant we felt we should help them play catch up. We was also promised tables and chairs to be set out but nope we also done that. It gets to 3:15 and Sanjay is closing shutters standing by the front door ready to go.. we are not happy with how it was left but the hired company went over everything the following morning (luckily)..
Day of wedding..
2 bar staff for 130 people, one didn’t know what he was doing.. not his fault obviously hadn’t had training or done the bar part before..
They ran out of glass’s so guests being given cans of beer.. then a few days later to be told we weren’t getting our £100 damage deposit back because they have been fined £5100 for having alcohol bought in (which was a total lie they didn’t get fined!!). Sanjay messaged us saying if you pay the £5100 we will give you the £100 back.. since we have been told by a number of people they don’t like to give deposit back!
Dirty toilets, no lock on door ran out of toilet roll.. luckily I took some as was told by my sister the day before there was none in there! Was spoken multiple times rudely/lied to by Sanjay and Nathan as we didn’t meet him we had to go through texts. He often never responded or was very blunt and never cared how we felt about using the grange.. I could really go on but it’s getting to the point where it’s more like a book. Just please do not use them and use a different venue to save yourself a lot of agro!!

Amazing team

Loved the results created by the team at The Grange. The room looked amazing and a beautiful set up for a wedding celebration. Nathan is always great at communicating at always puts the expectations of his clients to the forefront!

Best Day Ever!

I booked my wedding with Nathan back in 2019. Due to covid it was rearranged a couple of times but everytime Nathan was very accommodating and managed to move my date. We paid and hired out the venue The night before the wedding Reception so we could dress the Room. On this night Nathan's events manager Abbie was in......Abbie is absolutley amazing she cannot do enough for you. She helped and gave solutions and even helped us clear the rubbish and she chilled all my wine and bubbly. A few things couldn't be done till the following day and I explained to abbie what these were and she made sure they were done then went above and beyond and made sure everything looked precise. On the wedding Reception night Nathan was head chef of course and we had bbq style food. I had booked a buffet but sadly chef de la maison Contacted me a couple of months prior and explained they no longer provided finger buffet platters and afternoon or buffet boxes could be provided but I didn't want this. However Nathan found a solution we were happy with and on the actual night the food was absolutely delicious by Nathan it had so many compliments. We also had an outside catering company provide a finger buffet which Nathan was happy to let us have. Abbie again was so helpful on the night she served all my table wine and toast drinks and made everything effortless for us. At the end if the night Nathan and his team tidied up and allowed us to come the following morning to collect everything we had decorated the room with. I highly recommend this venue its nothing over the top and just the right size we had 50 guests and we fitted perfectly. This venue has a lovely outdoor space too and tall metal gates so children can't get out and have enough area to run around without parents worrying about them wondering off. Nathan and his team are easily Contactable and are happy to recommend suppliers if doing a DIY like us. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and Thank you for a wonderful evening and making everything run perfectly and They even signed my guest book!!!! xx
