Halfway between the charming towns of Deal and Sandwich, our lovely pub and restaurant is a truly special spot for a relaxed, down-to-earth wedding. Whether you're dreaming of a cosy gathering with your nearest and dearest or a full-on celebration that lasts all day, we’d be thrilled to host you.

We don’t do cookie-cutter weddings here - each one is completely personal. From the food and flowers to the music and atmosphere, we’ll work with you to make it feel just right. We’ve got great local contacts -florists, DJs, photographers - and our brilliant in-house planner will be with you every step of the way to take the stress out of planning.

Our Head Chef, John, is all about seasonal, tasty produce that’s locally sourced where possible, and has carefully crafted a selection of wedding menus, from generous grazing boards to sit-down feasts, all tailored to suit your vibe and your budget.

We’re not licensed for ceremonies, but there are some lovely local churches and registry offices nearby. Most couples choose to tie the knot close by, then head to us for the party. We can seat up to 75 guests for dinner, 80 for a buffet, or welcome up to 100 for a relaxed evening do with canapés and drinks.

To hire The Coach with exclusive use, we have a minimum spend of £5,000 in peak season. For all other scenarios, the minimum spend will depend on the event timings and number of guests. For example, an intimate evening 2-course sit-down celebration for 25 people could cost as little as £700 plus drinks! A £200 deposit secures your date.
