The Tereza-Joanne was launched in 1997. The vessel started life as a crane barge built in Eastern Europe just after World War II and eventually, over time, found its way to the United Kingdom. Following a complete refurbishment it is now permanently moored in King George V Dock in East London offering a unique floating venue for all types of events. The team will help you in any way which they possibly can.

The Tereza Joanne is licensed for the civil ceremony and can host up to 170 seated for the wedding breakfast and up to 250 adding on your evening guests. It is a very versatile venue and offers both indoor and outdoor space along with full disabled access and car parking alongside. With over 20yrs of experience your wedding will be in safe hands. They are a family business and pride themselves in that every event is custom and their wedding planners stay with you throughout the build up and on the day. One main point of contact which is essential to make your plans a reality.

Impeccable Service!
You later on get invited to a food tasting afternoon including a decor set up if you've chosen that package.
Soon after you have a chance to sit down with them and go over the details of the wedding including the meal plan. You are able to liase with them all the way up to the moment of your special day. It's fantastic. It made everything so simpler for us. We planned it in a very short space of time. 4 months to be precise but if it wasn't for the hassle free service that Teresa Joanne offers, I don't know how we would have gotten through the process with such ease. Thank you so much again Teresa Joanne. It was an absolute splendid day and we appreciate all your hard work for us. It was a success 🙌🏽
A very personalised service with an amazing view!
On our very first visit (while we were hunting for wedding venues), Marian took such good care of us: we got a really strong vibe that the service would be very personalised, we got loads of tips and advice about how to organise wedding receptions, overall a very nice feeling that we'd be very well looked after. And also a very warm/personal feeling as this is a small family business.
The view from the rooftop and through the windows is unbeatable (we had a beautiful sunny day)! And the food is great!
Not all wedding venues have their own kitchen, the food is so good that they actually cater for other venues, this is very telling :)
Communication was very smooth throughout the whole process, Adrian the chef is great, the tasting sessions themselves were such a treat! On the dah we had such a nice time, the vibe was great. For example the staff were also dancing behind the bar! Our guests told us the service (run by Michael) was amazing!
They really catered for our various needs, for example we had games during the meal so the service had to be adapted accordingly, we also had an open bar setup for our guests with a specific list of drinks.
