This is an incredible venue for a wedding. It features a single long curved 'room', one wall of which is a row of windows overlooking a picturesque pond and park. There are a couple of swans that nest there and at the time of our ceremony, there were 9 cygnets playing in the water. It was early August, so the area was lush with greenery. The staff do an incredible job of upkeeping the grown around the pond. Honestly, we likely saved the most money on decorations, as there were so few needed - the venue and the view out the windows was more than enough. To simplify the ceremony and reduce wedding costs, we decided to host everything at the venue - the ceremony, the drinks, the reception and the dance. We used the provided partitions to separate the room into the ceremony and the dining areas, which allowed us to transform the ceremony section into the dance floor in the second half of the day. Parking is limited to around 12-15 spaces at the front, however, we found that this was not a huge issue, as there was plenty of free parking on the streets around the venue that Saturday. On top of that, most of our guests live near the area, so were able to get there by public transport. The kitchen is modest, so we would recommend using a caterer who will arrive with the food already prepared, which is what our caterer did. They also set up a tent in the outdoor area, where guests mingled and had drinks. There are several outlets for electrical setups (decorations, DJ, etc), so we had no issue with custom lighting and music. Our wedding planner, caterers, and DJ checked the place out in advance to orient themselves and the layout of the room. We were also given a comprehensive sheet from the venue staff listing the rules behind decoration, electrics, etc, which was very helpful.

This venue was the most incredible find, loads of our guests made a point of telling us what a wonderful venue it was. It is an old school-turned-organ-factory-turned-venue-and-studio. Matt, the owner, has put so much love into the restoration and it shines through in every detail. We did a dry hire, but Matt was really helpful, completely flexible on site visits and sourced our beer for us at cost, which was really lovely. We had a lovely ceremony in the Chapel with natural light streaming in, the Mill (bar) is a stunning space with exposed brick, a fully functional bar and gorgeous wood flooring and the Main Hall is a wonderfully versatile space which, for our dinner, was transformed into a candle lit fairyland. One of the only venues we found that had no issues with open flame, and we really pushed the boat out! Having so much space meant that there were no awkward transitions with rooms having to be changed over, and there’s a huge, private outside space which would be amazing in the summer (and was pretty lovely on an unseasonably warm November evening). Matt also designed and rigged the lighting for us at amazing value and it was PERFECT (we felt very strongly about our dinner being candle lit and not lit with too much electric light, and it was absolutely spot on). We could not have imagined a more magical place for our wedding. Thank you so much again.

The service we received from Teresa Joanne was impeccable from start to finish. They off you a menu to look over and then you coose some items from the 3 course meal you’ll want to taste. You later on get invited to a food tasting afternoon including a decor set up if you've chosen that package. Soon after you have a chance to sit down with them and go over the details of the wedding including the meal plan. You are able to liase with them all the way up to the moment of your special day. It's fantastic. It made everything so simpler for us. We planned it in a very short space of time. 4 months to be precise but if it wasn't for the hassle free service that Teresa Joanne offers, I don't know how we would have gotten through the process with such ease. Thank you so much again Teresa Joanne. It was an absolute splendid day and we appreciate all your hard work for us. It was a success 🙌🏽

We booked Shoreditch Studios for our wedding relatively last minute when our original venue fell through, and we couldn't have been happier. The building itself is really beautiful with a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere - many of our guests commented on how much they loved it. It looked fab with all our added decorations - it's the perfect canvas for wedding sparkle! And the venue staff, particularly John, were just incredibly helpful at every stage, from showing us around initially to liaising with suppliers about logistics. Several of our suppliers commented on how good an experience they'd had in planning. We really appreciated how communicative, organised, flexible and friendly they were. Everything with the venue was just very smooth and easy. We ended up being thrilled that our original venue fell through!

The Staff Was Lovely & Welcoming ! I’d definitely recommend.. we had a simple ceremony , everything was quite straightforward and easy .we absolutely enjoyed it.

I wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to the entire team at Wallace Space/18 Clerkenwell Green for helping to make my 40th birthday party such a wonderful experience. It truly was an undeniably brilliant party – one that my partner and I will never forget! All of our guests have been raving about it ever since, and that is in no small part down to you. The Client Experience Manager, Hajar, handled everything so efficiently and professionally, and was such a pleasure to deal with throughout. From start to finish, she made the process seamless and stress-free. She is a star! A few special thanks: To Henry and Caroline, who were fantastic on the night To the bar team, who were so friendly, speedy, and ensured the drinks kept flowing without queues To all the staff, who were consistently cheery, welcoming, positive, and hospitable The food was absolutely delicious (and plentiful!), so hats off the the chef and team. The set-up across the two spaces worked perfectly – the Quiz was a huge hit in the café, while the DJ kept the penthouse buzzing. The decorations struck exactly the right note – classy without being over the top. I also really appreciated the excellent value: the corkage fee was very reasonable, the price overall felt affordable, and I honestly feel I got so much for my money. Five-star customer service all round. I would highly recommend Wallace Space to anyone looking to host a party, and I’d love to hold another event with you in the future. If my company has any upcoming offsites, I’ll definitely be looking at their meeting rooms, which is a another string to their bow. Overall, it has been an absolute pleasure – the whole team were fabulous!
