We had the most incredible wedding at Stoke by Nayland and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
One of the best decisions we made was booking all of the lodges for our family and friends. Having everyone together for the weekend made the whole experience so special and created such a lovely atmosphere from start to finish.
A very special thank you has to go to Victoria, who was an absolute star. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly and was always on hand whenever we needed anything. She played such a huge part in making our day as amazing as it was.
That said, every single member of staff deserves recognition. The level of service we received throughout our stay was exceptional. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, attentive and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us or our guests. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they all went above and beyond to make our wedding unforgettable.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, the food was fantastic, and everything ran so smoothly that we were able to relax and enjoy every single moment. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the staff and the overall experience.
Thank you to everyone at Stoke by Nayland for making our wedding day everything we had hoped for and more. We will always look back on it with the happiest memories and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to any couple looking for the perfect wedding venue. ❤️Stoke by Nayland Resort's reply:

Our wedding took place on June 25th this year - one of the hottest days of the recent heatwave. Stoke by Nayland Resort were so helpful and accommodating, while always considering the wellbeing and comfort of our guests and us. Although we really wanted to have our ceremony outdoors on the terrace with a beautiful view overlooking the scenery, unfortunately it had to take place indoors due to the safety risks the weather posed. Nevertheless, the venue staff did all they can to ensure everything was able to be done indoors and still delivered above and beyond!
All the staff were helpful and accommodating, and remained calm and flexible (apologies for some of the entitled Karens among our guests who gave them a bit of a hard time). They all worked so professionally with a positive can-do attitude, which helped make our vision of our wedding come to life, from the moment of planning, through to menu tasting, and to the day itself. Every staff member made us feel special and looked after us so well.
Shout-outs to James, our wedding coordinator, who stuck with us from the very first phone call to see everything through, and worked seamlessly with our vendors and planners, and even drove us around in the buggy to take us to great photo spots where our photographers captured some amazing shots! His communication was clear and prompt, and no detail was missed, which gave us the assurance that things would run smoothly from start to end.
A special mention also to Alvarro, who even remembered us from our menu tasting a couple months prior - the amount of people he crosses and serves on a daily basis, yet remembers us and finds the time to personally greet us in the middle of it all adds to how special we were made to feel.
As for the rooms, understandably in the midst of a heatwave, it was difficult to stay cool, but housekeeping did their best to ensure we were comfortable and brought multiple fans to our rooms. Each room was of an amazing standard, and the suites were spacious enough for us to also quickly practise our first dance.
The food service was also impeccable; while we were busy putting the last few bits and pieces together the night before the wedding day, we lost track of the time and just got to the sports bar before they closed. We were able to order a lovely dinner and have it brought to our room so that we could continue without wasting time by waiting around, and the waiting staff also offered us cold drinks to stay hydrated through the blazing hot evening. And the food served at the wedding breakfast was so filling and satisfying - general feedback given by our guests was that they actually felt full from their meals compared to other weddings where their meals did not satisfy them. We also had a delicious evening buffet that we enjoyed along with our guests after the reception, where we spent time catching up with a lot of them once our main programme had ended.
Overall, Stoke by Nayland Resort made our dream wedding a reality, bringing all our thoughts, ideas, and visions to life and hosting us for an unforgettable event experience. Thank you to everyone who helped to be a part of it, and for being so adaptable and accommodating, and building a memory that we will cherish forever! -

Best day ever!
Out of this world amazing, nothing was ever to much, was reassured continuously, kept calm and on schedule, everything was smooth & done for me, our wedding coordinator Simone was a massive star, the day was unreal, me and my new husband was treated with so much love and care, and so was our children, thank you so much SBN, you have a massive place in our hearts 💕

We had the most incredible wedding day and truly wouldn't change a thing. From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble for the team, and we felt so well looked after throughout the entire process.
A special mention has to go to Simone, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely amazing. From the lead-up to the wedding, hers and the wedding teams communication was excellent. On the day itself, she took care of setting up all of our personal touches, made us feel completely calm and she regularly checked in to make sure everything was on track.
We arrived the day before the wedding and had such a lovely start to our celebrations. The boys enjoyed a round of golf while the girls spent a relaxing afternoon in the sports bar, which was the perfect way to begin our wedding weekend.
The wedding day itself ran so smoothly. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and were able to have our ceremony outside, which was a beautiful setting. Simone organised all of our chosen ceremony music and everything went seamlessly. Throughout the day, she kept us on track with timings, meaning we never once had to worry about watching the clock or wondering where we needed to be.
The bar and serving staff were also fantastic throughout the day and evening. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they really added to the atmosphere of the day. So many of our guests commented on how lovely all of the staff were.
During golden hour, Simone took us and our photographers out on a golf buggy to some of the best spots around the resort. The photos are absolutely beautiful and are memories we will treasure forever.
At the end of the evening, we returned to our room to find it cleaned and tidied, with rose petals and a beautiful towel swan on the bed. It was such a thoughtful touch and perfectly summed up the level of care and attention provided by the team.
Thank you so much for giving us the perfect day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the resort as a wedding venue and are so grateful to everyone who helped make our wedding so special. -

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Stoke by Nayland Resort.
From the moment we started planning right through to the wedding day itself, the entire wedding team were absolutely amazing. They were professional, supportive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests, making the whole process feel so much less stressful.
A special mention has to go to Victoria, who was incredible. She was there on the day making sure everything ran exactly to plan and was always at the end of the phone whenever I needed anything in the lead-up to the wedding. Her organisation, reassurance, and attention to detail were invaluable, and she played a huge part in making our day so special.
We were also blown away by a lovely surprise from the resort’s social media team, who created a beautiful reel of our wedding. It was such a thoughtful touch and something we never expected. It was wonderful to relive some of those special moments and have another keepsake from the day.
Thank you to everyone at Stoke by Nayland for helping create memories that we will cherish forever. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a stunning setting and an exceptional team to bring their wedding day to life. 💕🥂 -

The perfect venue
We had the most incredible wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble for the whole team at Stoke by Nayland, but special thanks to Victoria who really did go above and beyond for us, even ringing the lodge on the wedding day and when I said I was feeling nervous she came straight away. She’s so professional but so calming and friendly, I think Stoke are incredibly lucky to have her.
We came the day before with friends and stayed in one of the lodges and my goodness they are beautiful. We went out for dinner at the restaurant in the resort and the Beef Wellington was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The men played golf whilst myself and friend went into the spa. It was the best way to wind down before the wedding day. I am so glad we opted for a lodge as the extra space was definitely needed for getting ready with 5 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls and then some!
The wedding day ran seamlessly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing, the rooms were changed over exactly how we’d asked, we didn’t need to watch the clock or worry about timings because Victoria did all this for us, it just could not have gone any better. The scenery was breathtaking and our photos are just that, breathtaking. Victoria took us and the photographers out on a golf buggy at golden hour to the best spots and the photos are unreal! At the end of the night we took the night bus back to the lodge and it had been cleaned and tidied and rose petals and a beautiful towel swan on the bed, just the little touches show how thoughtful the team here are.

Our wedding at Stoke By Nayland Resort was everything we could have wished for - and more! The beautiful venue, the stunning grounds, the gorgeous Devora and Haywain suites, and the great accommodation for our guests ticked all the boxes. But more than that, nothing was too much for the fantastic Stoke by Nayland team and the day was run seamlessly from start to finish. Thank you to our wedding planner Simone, with the assistance of James on the day, and all the team for making our day so incredibly special! -

We were thrilled with our perfect wedding day. Victoria was on hand all day from helping set up, to getting extra fans for the rooms we needed and even guiding us with our special photos together.
The accommodation was spot on, apart from one minor hiccup but that didnt matter once it all came together.
Me and my matron on honor ordered room service, and unfortunately the wine got spilt into the food, but the catering staff were spot on as they came back right away with new food and drink and snacks to apologise.
The food was absolutely sensational and was a huge hit with our friends and family.
Another shout out to the team in the sports bar who were super friendly and welcoming too!
A huge thank you again, we have visited since as well as friends, and loved every minute. -
