  Amazing from start to finish!

  We couldn’t have asked for more. The venue and the team were perfect and honestly I am missing them already! I went to every open event as I loved it so much and I was never made to feel like I wasn’t want there or taking up their time.
  
  Our day ran so smoothly and any questions we had leading up to the day were answers promptly, even when our wedding planner (Mel) was on holiday, she made us aware so we wouldn’t panic. Nothing was too much, the food was amazing and the views, photo perfect. Everyone commented on what an amazing venue it was and we had a few guest stay over in the hotel and commented on the good service they received! I would recommend this venue to anyone.

  Great support, beautiful surroundings

  We booked here a year and a half before the big day, everything was explained clearly, there were times that we got confused but the wedding staff were always there to reassure and support.
  Value for money was amazing and we didn't realise the amount of attention to detail this was brilliant.
  They communicated with the external services we had hired to co ordinate everything smoothly.
  The presence of the staff and service were also second to none, especially Victoria.

  Best day of my life

  The best day of our live happened at SBN Resort, the way they looked after us, from Mel our co-ordinator, to the bar and restaurant staff, to reception and maintenance. They made our day perfect, and I will never get over how special it was.

  Melanie Hockley

  We got married at Stoke by Nayland hotel on 18th May this year and can honestly say was the BEST day of our lives!
  The venue, staff and our wedding co ordinator Mel were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Could not of done more for us or make our day more special. They were reassuring, patient and went above and beyond throughout the whole process. Can’t thank or recommend them enough!

  Vow renewal ceremony

  We worked with Melanie for our vow renewal. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, was extremely helpful and nothing we asked for/or about was too much for her. Our planning and day would not have been so successful without her at the helm.
  The venue was fantastic, the rooms, the food & drinks were amazing. It all added to make it a very special day for both of us.

  Went above and beyond!

  Our wedding coordinator, Melanie, was fantastic and very supportive and helpful throughout the whole experience! All the staff at SbN were fantastic, even helping us pack up our car the next day. Food is perfect, even allowing some custom alterations to make it just what you want. Beautiful venue and even on a rainy day, Melanie made accommodations to make sure we didn't get wet or muddy going onto the golf course for pictures. Everyone was superb with our nephew who has autism and tried to make him as comfortable as possible. When another vendor had brought the wrong supplies the morning of our wedding, Melanie stepped in to try to make it as smooth as possible and that our vision for our wedding was met. Overall an 11/10 experience and we cannot be more grateful to Melanie and all the staff at Stoke by Nayland Resort. Thank you :)

  Stoke by Nayland Resort

  Just wow! An amazing venue that we fell in love with. Every member of staff we interacted was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Especially Melanie our wedding coordinator, took so much stress of my very anxious shoulders

  Generally speaking the venue was lovely. However there were several good points and bad points which are detailed below.

  Good points; the DJ ( called "My Big Fat Wedding" ) was good.
  The venue with its vast grounds gave a good background.
  The reception staff were very helpful.
  The make-up service was of a high standard.
  Bad points; slow response to our e-mails.
  We had to regularly correct the Wedding Planner over details that we had pointed out in previous e-mails.
  On the day, the service from the planner was adequate but she was not open to any ideas or suggestions given to her.
  We had previously asked for a "open seating" sign to be available but this was ignored.
  The gift "pillar box" had a broken lock which should have been repaired prior to the wedding.
  The wedding cake bottom tier was not retained despite our request for this to happen.

  Dan & Lucy wedding

  We got married back in May with you and honestly we had the most amazing day even if we did have rain. Stoke by Nayland is literally located in the most beautiful place, even though your wedding takes place while you can still visit the resort, we felt so special with everyone complementing us on our special day it was actual really nice and we still felt very private. Melanie made our wedding planning/day so chilled out and special, there came a time we went through some stressful bits from family but she made sure there thoughts didn’t matter and that it was our special day and we could do and have what we wanted. Melanie is such a lovely lady she became a new friend and I was so sad to say bye and leave once our wedding day was over. I’d still very much love to go into working with her 😍 or in the wedding industry. x

  Winter wonderland wedding

  Amazing day loved by us and all our guest
  Rooms are a great size for getting ready in and some lovely areas for having your photos taken and a little ride on a golf buggie to get there
