We eloped and married at The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews. It was magical. From the fun dinner the night before at The Jigger Inn, to the exquisite afternoon tea to the groom playing golf at The Dukes on the morning of the wedding. The wedding planner at The Old Course ensured our wedding was beautiful, the decorations were in place and the whole team made us feel so special. Our wedding was tiny but every last detail was thought of down to the decoration of our honeymoon room with rose petals including a bottle of fine champagne. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, choose The Old Course. It’s five star luxury with the feeling of family.

My partner and I recently celebrated our wedding at Cambo Estate and couldn’t be more grateful to the estate and its wonderful team. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how gorgeous, cosy, inspiring, and fun the property is. From the café and gardens to the woodland trails, seaside, and hidden corners of the grounds, everything was truly stunning. Having the house entirely to ourselves for the weekend - and the freedom to shape the events exactly as we wanted - made the whole experience feel personal and magical. The estate offers so many inviting spaces for guests to gather, play games, chat, and simply relax. And the lack of a curfew throughout most of the house added an extra sense of joy and spontaneity. Joanne and her team went above and beyond in helping us and our vendors pull together a weekend full of moving pieces. They coordinated everything from a movie-night projector to microphones for speeches, rented glassware, arranged bartenders for both the wedding and a whisky tasting, set up event spaces with custom lighting, provided a sound system, kept fireplaces going, and even supplied wood for s’mores. As this was a destination wedding for us and most of our guests, Cambo’s organization was a huge relief. Their attention to detail shone through in every Zoom call and throughout the weekend. The personalized door signs, stocked restrooms, welcome guides, printed maps, and countless thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. Joanne and her team were always available, kind, clear, quick to respond, and genuinely enthusiastic. We had the most incredible wedding day, all thanks to this beautiful venue and its amazing team. We received so many compliments on our wedding venue, especially with the lighting canopy of the ceremony room. Claire and Sophie were so helpful in the whole planning process, happy to answer any questions and so much help on the set up day & wedding day. Nothing was too much hassle! Kinkell was the first venue we viewed during wedding planning and we just knew it was the one straight away!

We had our wedding at Lower and Upper College Halls and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish, everything went so smoothly. Amanda, the Events Manager, was the most helpful person I have ever met. She answered any question we had, was so organised and gave really helpful suggestions on things like timings but never made us feel pressured in any way. The staff on the day were also so incredibly kind and respectful, it really added to the day. The space itself is beautiful and lower college hall especially is so grand that you don't need any decoration. Use of the quad for cocktail hour was stunning and our guests loved the setting. The food was fantastic and really exceeded expectations! Couldn't recommend more!
