I can’t even begin to explain how perfect our wedding reception was at the Duke’s Head. We initially enquired about booking the private space upstairs, but after seeing the restaurant, we absolutely fell in love with the river views and breezy, open feel. From the very start, Rebecca was incredible - she handled all our questions with ease, provided menus and thoughtful advice, helped us plan the room layout and set-up, and was across every detail, including allergy queries. She was a total superstar. We also spoke with Robbie and Harry in the lead-up to the day, and they were both super helpful. On the day itself, the staff were amazing and so attentive. My husband and I never had an empty glass, they saved us a plate of canapés so we wouldn’t miss out, and all our guests commented on how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The food was absolutely delicious - everyone left bursting at the seams! I’d highly recommend the Duke’s Head for any special occasion. It was everything we hoped for and more.

We have been providing DJs and entertainment at various venues for many years and always enjoy the weddings organised by Clare and Anjali. Their attention to detail is second to none which ensures everything runs smoothly on the day. All delivered in a warm, friendly and professional manner which makes the planning process much easier and far less stressful. Great venue, fabulous people!!
