The team at The Italian Villa go above and beyond. They are a well-oiled machine that make everything look effortless. Delightful people too. 10/10 on all bases, we could not have asked for a better day or experience throughout! Myself and now husband have never organized something to the scale of a wedding before so were completely out of our depth, but kitty made us at ease and was so wonderfully involved with us throughout, taking care of all the little bits you'd forget! Venue - absolutely gorgeous, naturally beautiful, warm and welcoming. So much hard work goes into looking after this extraordinary venue and it shows, we had so many of our guests comment they've never been anywhere like it. Also, the gorgeous meadow at the bottom is an absolute dream for the photography photos! Kitty - We couldn't have asked for anyone better to help plan and execute our day, kitty was on hand at ANY point we needed and has some of the most impressive events experience we've come across. If there was anything on the day that needed sorting, she was there! 10/10 woman and will definitely be going back to say hello! Accommodation - the honeymoon suite/bungalow was included in our stay. It's a beautiful, unique place with so much character, you can see in the photos. Was a great atmosphere with loads of space for us all to get ready in the morning and kitty even had us a plaque made! The bedroom is super comfortable, again 10/10, cannot fault Vendors - honorable mention for kitty again! As we had to outsource a lot, we didn't know where to start and were concerned about the big quotes we'd be looking at, however, with Kitty's abundant source of knowledge and relationships with previous vendors, we managed to rally up the best vendors for catering, Marquee, toilets etc and made everything super affordable! Every one we went with was amazing and made everything effortlessly smooth for us Overall, a perfect 'different' kind of venue which is bursting with nature and beauty. Does require a lot more detail and planning as you'd need to outsource all the main facilities, however Kitty will have all the solutions and connections. We had the best day and experience, a month later we're still in awe over it and wish we could do it all over again 🌹

On our wedding day we had afternoon tea at The Upwey Wishing Well and had the most amazing time. The food was delicious, they served a great range of drinks, Jacci was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic, you made our special day more memorable. The gardens are truly magical and we got to throw pennies into the well and make wishes. We would 100% highly recommend these beautiful tea rooms and water gardens for a wedding venue.

I had my wedding reception at the worgret manor back in 1998 and we had the most wonderful time, staff were most accomodating and every one went out of their way to make sure our guests were treated like royality,we actually took over the whole hotel. I have been back to attend another wedding reception and Wow again the same quality i recieved many years ago was still being shown. Well done Worgret for keeping up the standards

The venue is spectacular and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Definitely recommended to create special memories!

We had a wonderful wedding at the Tank Museum in December 2021. I started planning the wedding fairly 'late' in the day, such that we only booked it after going for a look around in July. It sometimes took a little bit of time to get answers to my questions but in fairness I was probably being a bit impatient and asking a lot of questions! We had just over 60 guests and the Cold War Hall was easily big enough to host the ceremony, reception, and evening entertainment, with plenty of space so guests didn't feel cramped. The booking including use of a conference suite for the wedding party, so we had somewhere to get ready and/or change during the day. The Museum has a large hexagonal wooden arch which we had dressed in flowers and ivy swag garland, and which made a great backdrop for the ceremony (along with the tanks in the hall looming in the background). We opted for the rustic wooden benches and tables as we had a vintage style wedding, and these allowed plenty of elbow space for guests. We used many of the suppliers mentioned in the venue's brochure and the lighting company did a great job of turning a fairly large concrete space into a more intimate and colourful venue. The Museum were very helpful in suggesting a range of wedding breakfast and evening buffet options as well as catering for various dietary requirements. They sourced some very good wine and fizz and were able to provide a full (open) bar, including tea and coffee which was much appreciated by our guests who don't drink. On the day, the Museum staff couldn't have been more helpful and were always on-hand to deal with small issues. Many of the guests told me afterwards how much they enjoyed the food and what a wonderful time they had. The guests had access to parts of the Museum until about 8pm, which meant they got to to enjoy the wedding and still have time to wander round afterwards. Overall, we had a great day and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Tank Museum as a venue for a wedding that's a little bit different.
