Where to start with Leonardslee?! Everything was completely smooth sailing from the outset. The Leonardslee team is amazing and went above and beyond to help bring our perfect wedding day to life. Jo Chellingworth (Events Manager) was always on hand to answer any queries we had and was very personable, professional and accommodating.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and we were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather to enjoy our drinks reception outside on the terrace overlooking the golf course. Having the entirety of the venue to ourselves and it being otherwise closed to the public for the day (which is quite unique compared to some other vineyard wedding venues) put our minds at ease that there would have been plenty of space indoors in the event of rain but luckily that wasn’t necessary! All of the hotel rooms are spacious, well-equipped and have super comfy beds. The air conditioning was also great given the warm weather! We also enjoyed staying in the cottage the night before with our dog.
Our photographer was able to capture beautiful sunset photos in the vineyards and on the golf course which we accessed via golf buggies.
Our dads enjoyed playing rounds of golf the day before and morning of the wedding at discounted rates and the staff in the club house were also very friendly and accommodating.
The food throughout the day was absolutely delicious. We had compliments from guests as soon as the canapés were served and again in between courses of the wedding breakfast. The venue was also very flexible with special requests when it came to the menu options. Not to mention the fantastic wine but that goes without saying!
In the lead up to our wedding we had some uncertainty with finalising guest numbers due to a couple of family members being unwell but Jo was very understanding and flexible with this process.
Overall the team had an amazing eye for detail and put a lot of care and effort into making everything come together perfectly. The team made our whole experience stress-free allowing us to truly enjoy the day with our family and friends.
We had great fun each opening a bottle of wine with a sabrage sword which made for some unique wedding photos!
Given what is included in the wedding package combined with the quality of the venue we considered Leonardslee very good value for money, especially when compared to other similar venues for a summer (Saturday) wedding.
We would whole heartedly recommend Leonardslee Wine Estate and would like to provide a special mention to both Jo’s as well as both Harry’s (Harry Cox and Harry Cornell) all of whom were fantastic.Leonardslee Wine Estate's reply:

We recently celebrated our wedding at Lenordslea Wine Estate, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jo and the entire team went above and beyond to make our day feel truly special.
From the very beginning, the communication was excellent, everything was clearly explained and thoughtfully planned, which made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. The team were incredibly flexible and accommodating, ensuring the day felt completely bespoke to us and intimate like we wanted. We chose the wine tasting room which was beautiful.
On the day itself, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, exactly what we had hoped for. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout, making both us and our guests feel so well looked after.
The food and wine was absolutely amazing, some of our guests even bought some wine to take home.
A real highlight was taking the gold buggies out to the vines, the kids loved it, it we so much fun.
Every detail felt carefully considered, and it was clear how much effort the team put into delivering such a high-quality experience.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Leonardslee Wine Estate to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service. They truly helped create the perfect day for us, and we’re so grateful.Leonardslee Wine Estate's reply:

We got married at Leonardslee Wine Estate in April and from the moment we first visited, we just had a feeling it was our venue. There was something about the atmosphere and feel of the place that immediately stood out from everywhere else we viewed.
A huge shout out has to go to Jo, she was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process - responsive, super organised, positive, and happy to answer even the smallest questions. Nothing felt like too much trouble. She genuinely seemed excited for our wedding and completely invested in making the day special, it made such an impact during the planning process and kept us calm the whole way through.
The venue itself is stunning, we had so many compliments from guests about how beautiful everything was. There are endless picturesque spots around the estate especially when you head out in the buggy around the grounds and vineyards.
The food was delicious and one of the highlights guests kept mentioning afterwards, alongside the wine, which was obviously amazing - I’ve now got a monthly subscription of the Blanc de Blanc! The staff were brilliant all day - professional, friendly, and so efficient. The room turnaround was unbelievably quick and seamless from ceremony to breakfast to reception, and everything looked perfect throughout the entire day.
The building itself is beautiful and full of character, but still feels relaxed and welcoming rather than overly formal. There was always somewhere comfortable for guests to sit and enjoy themselves.
Several of our guests stayed onsite and all commented on how fantastic the rooms were. I stayed in the cottage onsite with my bridesmaids the night before which was a lovely part of the experience and a memory I’ll never forget. Waking up there on the morning of the wedding felt really special and the freshly baked croissants at breakfast the next morning were the perfect touch.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team for our wedding day. If you’re considering Leonardslee Wine Estate, do it - it’s an incredible place with an amazing team behind it.Leonardslee Wine Estate's reply:

From the moment we drove into the grounds and met Jo, we knew this venue was was where we were going to get married. From the initial meeting through to the day and after, Jo and the Leonardslee team helped us feel at ease, answered any questions (no matter how silly) we had and supported us throughout the whole journey. We renewed our vows after 32 years happily married to celebrate a new phase of our lives. The Mannings Heath crew were excellent from start to finish and in the middle too. Very accommodating to our needs and our requirements for a bespoke day and evening which didn’t involve a disco! Food throughout was lovely from canopies to main dinner to evening platters of cheese, ham. On the day the team were very attentive to our needs.
The evening we used Jane’s events with Martin the Magician, a Casino night plus the obligatory photo mirror 😊. All well received by our guests and helped make the day extra special.
We used all the bedroom which are all very boutique and boujee and a lovely surprise to end the day.
A banquet breakfast the next morning helped complete a wonderful experience.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Leonardslee Wine Estate in August and we can’t speak highly enough of the entire experience.
The professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility of the team stood out. Jo, our Events Manager, was a joy to work with - efficient, calm, and incredibly organised. She helped guide us through every detail and was always quick to respond to any questions we had, making the whole planning process feel easy and enjoyable. Harry, the Front of House Manager, ensured everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. His attention to detail and calm presence helped us relax and enjoy every moment.
The ceremony setup was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning backdrop and thoughtful touches that made the setting feel so special. The food was exceptional, both in presentation and flavour - some of our guests commented that it was some of the best food they’d ever had at a wedding!
What really impressed us that the venue liaised directly with our suppliers, taking a huge weight off our shoulders. Everything from decorations to hair to music was coordinated seamlessly without us needing to manage the small details.
We also loved that we were able to accommodate all of our family onsite for two nights, making the whole event feel like a getaway! The rooms were comfortable and newly refurbished.
One of our favourite memories was taking our wedding photos in the vineyard - an incredibly picturesque setting that added a magical, romantic touch to the day, and we got to drive the golf carts!

Above & Beyond
I cannot fault our experience at Mannings Heath. From the early booking and planning stages, to the logistics and tiny details, to the big day itself, the lovely people at this venue go ABOVE AND BEYOND.
Jo is absolutely lovely and so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and there was a perfect balance of advice and willingness to adjust to requests. Harry on the day was absolutely fantastic. Everything ran so smoothly and I felt so confident in him to ensure nothing would go wrong. Not a thing was out of place. All the waiting staff were fantastic. Proactively working out who needed what and where and with a friendly smile whilst doing so!
The food was absolutely fantastic. We had so many compliments from guests on the canapés and the wedding breakfast. Our friends and family with dietary requirements were very pleased with how good their food was too!
The rooms in the hotel and the cottage were lovely and we had a very comfortable and convenient stay.
The ride in the golf buggies for our bride and groom photos was a highlight! So much fun!
We highly recommend this venue to anyone. Absolutely could not fault it at all.
