FABULOUS LOCATION

Kingston Manor sits handsomely in the middle of a remote Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the south coast on the Isle of Wight, and has spectacular views. The medieval house makes for a magnificent backdrop, and the location is quite uniquely beautiful.

YOUR OWN WORLD

The house is tucked away and hardly anyone knows it's there. We host very few weddings each year, which not only keeps the venue fresh and exclusive but also makes it quite a surprise for your guests as they arrive. You will literally hear some of them say "Wow". There will be no-one around but you and your friends and family -- and perhaps a family or two of ducks on the lake.

LOTS OF SPACE AND FLEXIBILITY

You will have exclusive access to the large gardens and the magnificent party barn for 2 full days leading up to your wedding party, plus the option of 2 nights in the wedding cottage.

We give you lots of flexibility, via our two go-to party planners, to choose how you run your day and how you set up your party. You can choose freely from all the Isle of Wight caterers, DJs, bands, florists etc.

The barn space is large and adaptable, and can be zoned into an indoor ceremony area, a seated dining area, bar area, dancing area -- or you can keep it as one space in its huge and magnificent splendour.

It has room to seat 175 but can just as well be designed around smaller numbers from 30 or 40 upwards. The barn opens out onto gardens on both sides, making it light and welcoming.

If you choose, you can set up a marquee on the lower lawn for up to 200 and dine overlooking the lake.

The maximum number allowed at the venue in total is 200 (and all 200 can dance in the barn at once!)

VARIETY OF DIFFERENT SCENES DURING YOU DAY

The gardens are expansive, and different areas can be brought into play for different stages of your day -- for example the arbour for an outdoor ceremony, the formal garden lawn for welcome drinks, the courtyard garden in the evening before and after the meal, the lawn on the far side the barn for a late-night pizza or snack van, or anything else you dream up. There's lots of space to add adult or children's games on the lower lawn. Or add nothing -- the gardens in themselves are lovely on their own..

SERVICES OFFERED

We have two planning teams you can choose from, and you can opt to use their services for every last detail, or do some of the planning and decorating yourselves. Either way they'll take care of the setting-up beforehand, and will coordinate for you on the day.

During the planning stage, whether it's the party planners or us (the owners), there's always someone on hand to help things along, and you can visit the venue as often as you need to.

And at the end of your wedding party, you can retreat into the very cute and cosy private cottage at the edge of the gardens.

The cottage is also a very calm and comfortable environment for bride and bridesmaids to get dressed and ready in.

DATES

We hold a maximum of 8 weddings a year, from April to October, which means our dates are very flexible.

We can consider dates outside April and October but we'd like you to have visited the venue first.

PREMISES LICENCE

Our premises is licensed for civil ceremonies in the barn or anywhere outside. Celebrant ceremonies also welcome.

Best day of our life’s

If you're after wedding venue that is personal and stunning, Kingston Manor is the place to celebrate your special day. There isn't one fault to share about Kingston Manor and the lovely owners Juliet and Robert! The only fault is that we are not there every weekend! From day one of visiting we knew that the 'naked venue' was everything we had dreamt in terms of the setting but also the spaces, whilst also offering the opportunity to make it personal to us. Juliet and Robert were really flexible and listened to our dreams and proposals. The long weekend for our family at Kingston Manor felt like a holiday in the South of France. The house is the perfect space for two families to celebrate a whole weekend whilst also not being on top of each other. If you are after an intimate celebration whilst still having a great sized wedding (80- 120 people) Kingston manor is more than perfect! The blank canvas can really take any style, theme or creativity. Simple or extravagant.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to make your big decisions easier.
