Holmes Mill is just the perfect venue for a wedding. It has a little bit of everything and suits so many different tastes, all at a reasonable price. We had the most perfect day and the venue really is what made that for us. We fell in love with Holmes Mill as soon as we viewed it. There was no doubt in our mind that it was everything we wanted in a venue. We sat down with the team and prices up everything we wanted. We went all out at first thinking we can then take things off if we need to for the purpose of our budget… we didn’t need to!! We requested the cotton room for the ceremony, the Bistro for everything else, hired the bowling alley for the room turn around, DJ package with Exceed events, multiple menu and drinks choices, you name it we added it. They could not have been more flexible and accommodating. The total price coming in below £10,000 for everything we wanted literally knocked us off our feet. It was a no brainer! If you want a bit of everything at your wedding and aren’t a fan of the traditional country house vibes, then this venue is for you. We made a full weekend of it, hired the chimney room the night before with our friends and family and even hired the penthouse for an extra night after. The service throughout planning and the day itself was unmatched, we felt compelled to email them straight after complementing everyone who made our day amazing. Getting married at Holmes Mill was the best decision we made and we would do it again in a heartbeat!
