A beautiful restored Grade II* listed building dating back to 1307, Chadkirk Chapel is set in the peaceful and tranquil grounds of the Beautiful Chadkirk Estate in Romiley, Cheshire. For couples looking for a blend of historic features and country charm, Chadkirk is simply unbeatable.
Licensed for Civil Ceremonies we can accommodate up to 80 guests for your ceremony. With beautiful wooden beams, stained glass and stone floors, your ceremony is guaranteed to be an intimate and romantic affair. If you would like to continue to celebrate within the grounds of Chadkirk Chapel, we can accommodate your wedding breakfast and evening reception in a marquee or tipi in the beautiful surroundings of the Chadkirk Estate. You can enjoy the stunning grounds as you toast your marriage and capture your wedding photographs against the magnificent backdrop before heading inside for the evening's celebrations.
Our dedicated Wedding coordinators are on hand to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have from the initial point of contact right up until your big day. You will be assigned your own personal Wedding coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly and you have the day you always imagined you would have, meaning you will be given the attention and personal service that you deserve.

Perfect Venue
The venue had the traditional feel of a church location without the prayers and hymns. It was dressed beautifully although didn’t need much as the historic features and traditional feel was prefect on its own.
Millie and Frank looked after us from Stockport Council on the day and they were wonderful. Carol organised up to the day and everything went perfectly.
The only small downsides to Chadkirk and they are tiny details but the car park is around a 10 walk away for your guests. We were lucky as it had been dry buts it’s quite a walk in the rain and down the dirt path which would be muddy in the wrong season. Also you only have 2 hours hire for the venue so you have the hour before your ceremony (and suppliers cannot access until then giving them around 15-30 minutes before your guests arrive and then the 30 minute ceremony and then just 30 minutes for photos outside or in the rose garden. This was ok for us as we had main photos at the reception venue. On the day it didn’t feel rushed at all and was perfectly fine but beforehand it did cause some worry about feeling like a conveyor belt (as we didn’t realise until the final details meeting these were the rules).
Please do not let the small things put you off considering or using Chadkirk. The photo doesn’t quite do it justice but for us it was a wonderful venue. We will be enjoying their annual Christmas concert so we can visit each year as it’s now so special for us
