Where to begin! Choosing Hilltop county house for our wedding was absolutely the best decision we made. It's been a week since Oliver and I got married in the beautiful gardens surrounded by all our friends and family xx and since that day we can't stop talking about the special people we met in the Hilltop team. They made us feel completely at home from the first time we met Clare back in November 2023, as soon as we stepped into your cosy home we new this was the place for us. Since then we've had the pleasure of meeting so many members of the team; Cameron, who expertly whipped up our cocktails ( still dreaming about the Vanilla chat white Russian ) and made certain our guest were well watered; Emil who was the perfect MC, ensuring we couldn't stop dancing all the way through the night; Iain and Naomi prepared the most delicious food, all of our guests were raving about their meals and the poutine! Olivia for helping so much on the day, it was wonderful having you around to make sure everything was going to plan and giving some much needed words of calm and encouragement, you were and absolute delight! And finally Leah, from the moment we met you we were laughing and that definitely set the tone! Thank you for going to every effort to make our day exactly how we wanted it! I think we had 2 email chains going with 24 messages in each! The day before and the day of you were around to help and let us know where we needed to be! Ollie and I have said many times how you feel more like a friend to us and we wish we could plan another wedding just to speak to you! What a venue and what a team! From our very first point of contact with Hilltop we have been made to feel so welcome and it has almost become a home from home. Claire, Leah and the team have been excellent to communicate with from start to finish, they have taken the time to get to know us, to understand what we were wanting to get from our wedding day and they delivered it all beautifully. Our guests were full of praise for the venue, the setting, the amazing food and in particular the staff who all went out of their way to make our day extra special. Thank you so much for all the little nuances that you accommodated for us, which made the day ‘ours’. I would especially like to thank Leah for her kindness, humour and positivity, just what I needed to keep the stress levels at bay. You are a real gem and the perfect person to have by your side throughout the day.
Thank you again to the Hilltop team - we have nothing but praise for you all! You may not have seen the last of us yet! 😉🥰 -

From the moment we viewed Hilltop Country House we knew it would be where we were going to get married. The house, gardens, atmosphere and staff were all perfect. We had the most amazing day and all our guests said how much they enjoyed it. The food, DJ, coordination of the day, everything went so smoothly and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Where do we start? Thank you.
Honestly, Friday 28th March 2025 was the best day of our lives.
From planning to our wedding day, it’s been a dream to work with you all. We could not fault the venue, the staff, the food, the grounds - everything was perfect.
All our guests have complimented the wedding, and said it was one of the best weddings they’d been too, and it’s thanks to you all and the great team and atmosphere you have created.
We (including Miley), can’t wait to come back and stay with you.

A spectacularly spooky Halloween wedding
Claire and the team couldn’t do enough for our Halloween wedding. We had such a fabulous day with our friends and family. The food was standout - well worthy of the Michelin star - particularly the red pepper soup as a starter, steak pie as main followed by apple crumble with lashings of custard (bride’s request) for dessert were perfect. Our Halloween decor looked perfect with the Hilltop backdrop. Claire was always on hand to answer questions and Cameron the bar manager accommodated our drinks requests. A special mention to Joe the photographer- what a lovely man. He took the time to capture special family moments for us. We know we will keep in touch with Hilltop.
