Our totally unique venue is set in an Iron Age Hillfort, also a Roman Camp. It is now a charming, romantic woodland with stunning views across the Cranbourne Chase. A few miles outside Salisbury, it is only an hour and a half from West London, with a very easy drive along the A303.
We offer dry hire with no extra costs. It is up to you to make it yours in whatever way you want to. We have a farm partner a stone's throw away who can provide accommodation with rooms in the main house, Holiday cottage, shepherds, huts, Bell tents, and camping pitches.

Although we are not licensed for the legal part of the wedding, you would need to do this in a registry office, or there is a beautiful village church where you could have the legal ceremony followed by a short walk across gorgeous National Trust Parkland to the Hillfort for your celebration.
When you arrive, there is parking by the gate, and then you walk up a beautiful woodland path to the venue set in a clearing. Depending on the season, the clearing is surrounded by pink rhododendron flowers, foxgloves, or bluebells. We provide a romantic, silver birch arbour for your exchange of vows, with seating for your guests on log-filled gabion benches, which you can decorate with sheepskins, rugs, or whatever you like. There is a Woodland bar for you to stock and a marquee area.
There is also a fire pit with unlimited free logs. We only have one wedding each weekend, so it is yours from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon—no corkage, or cake cutting charges, but freedom for your special day.

We have a wonderful group of suppliers, who we recommend to provide marquees, music, wonderful catering, shepherd hut loos, etc.
This is a new venue, and in this first year, we are super flexible and want to make this the wedding of your dreams.
