From the moment we left the road and entered this hidden gem we knew that this venue would be the perfect place to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends,the date would be immaterial we wanted to be married here. The location ,size,open space,on site accommodation and communal areas allow all your guests to feel that they are on holiday,but veery much at home. Carla is beyond helpful and no question is unanswered,during the wedding day Carla is the ultimost host to ensure your day runs smoothly,her experience is priceless. We couldn't have wished for a better place a better day to have our wedding.

The flexibility to have your day your way at Glyngynwydd is insane, Carla said to us, the only rules are "Don't burn the place down!". It gave us so much scope to share our personalities in our day on a timeline that suited us without the constraints other venues place on you with lots of opportunity to DIY thanks to the venue hire lasting for the whole weekend. We let Carla know when all of our deliveries/collections were happening in the lead-up and days after, and she kindly coordinated delivery drivers and ensured the right people picked up the right things. The other reason we chose the venue is because its only half an hour from our home and the scenery, the woods, the fields, the old barns put on such a beautiful display of typical Welsh countryside that was such a delight to share with our guests travelling from all over the UK. Even in the rain, there are so many spaces to use indoors and half indoors/half outdoors, allowing you to make the most of any breaks in the cloud. The accommodation options are also fabulous if you have people travelling with several cottages onsite and glamping pods; each of our pod campers teamed up with a cottage to share their facilities, so whilst there were a few first-time glampers, they certainly haven't been put off.

Glyngynwydd wedding barn is the place to go to make all your wedding dreams come true! Set against beautiful rolling hills, with woodland and even a little stream on site you have the most amazing backdrop for a wedding. Not only that but you are able to plan the weekend exactly how you want it from decorations, to games, to suppliers, to on site accommodation and beyond. We're not traditional in anyway so to have found a place where we could bring to life our colourful, chaotic, joyous wedding was magical and we are so grateful to Carla for letting us do what we wanted. You only have to look at the venue's instagram to see how versatile it can be and how every couple have gone with something different and unique to them. Carla is a wonderful host always responding quickly to any questions we had, allowing us to visit the venue multiple times to take measurements etc. and even being on hand on the day rounding up our guests to make their way to the ceremony. She's just a lovely human and has created the perfect setting for an unforgettable day.

WOW!!! We had multiple guests ask us 'why are you going all the way up there for a wedding?' .. the moment they walked in, they understood why.

From day one, Carla was fantastic. The most welcoming and warming host we could've wished for. She's build the venue into truly the most perfect location to celebrate your day.

Nothing was ever too much of an ask! And trust me.. I asked a LOT of questions, lol.

The venue has everything you could wish for, and with the most relaxed vibe, it was perfect for us. We fell in love with it as soon as we saw it, and never had any doubts about it. Our wedding was truly perfect.

The most picturesque venue around and I truly can't recommend it enough.

We fell in love with Glyngynwydd as a wedding venue the moment we set foot there to look at it and knew it was “the place” we wanted to get married! 2 years on it did not disappoint and was even better than we could have imagined! The ceremony area in the woods is absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful! We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to get married! The barns themselves are a beautiful rustic setting, and there are so many different areas for unique photos!
We also can’t thank Carla enough; having to postpone our wedding and then re-organise it during Covid-19 would have been a lot more stressful if she wasn’t there to help us - she was extremely accomodating, and excellent at helping us with all sorts of questions we had - she always left us feeling reassured at the end of a phone conversation! She was also amazing during the wedding, always on hand to help and ensure things run smoothly.
The cottages at the venue have everything you could need and want and make for a relaxing ‘getting ready’ time. We’re looking forward to going back to stay in the cottages again sometime!

Stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Plas Dinam, lovely place to stay. Carla is a great host, so very friendly and cant do enough for you. We got married at Glyngynwydd on Saturday and it was bloody fantastic!!!!

I do not have a single negative comment about the venue or Carla, the lovely owner.

From start to end Carla was supportive, helpful, understanding and answered all my questions no matter how trivial!

The cottages are beautiful and well equipped, plus warm, cosy and comfortable.

We used the Pods on site and everyone who stated in them said how warm and comfy they were, and loved the little pod area.

One of our guests brought along a mobile home and was made to feel just as welcome!

The stables area as a communal space was fantastic and had everything we needed including a log fire for the rainy cold day after the wedding.

The new honeymoon suite.is wonderfully decorated, the shower is brilliant and the bed super comfy! So much so we took a picture of the name of the mattress!

The venue itself is STUNNING! The barn is beautiful, the fields and scenery are a perfect example of how beautiful Wales is.

I would highly recommend Glyngynwydd. Our wedding there was PERFECT.

We used glyngynwydd wedding barn for our wedding and what a absolutely amazing place. Couldn’t have asked for more. The cottages are beautifully set up. Carla is absolutely amazing and supportive in every way. The indoor and outdoor ceremony set ups are beautifully presented and then you can add your personal touch. Has amazing knowledge and helped every step of the way. Would 100% recommend especially for that intimate touch

Wow just wow. In 2021 we viewed the venue and immediately booked it for our June 2023 wedding. The planning stage, well this is where you can get a real feel for a supplier. Are they responsive? Are they helpful? Informative? Carla is that and more! Emails responded to promptly and we were grateful for the amount of times she let us revisit so we could look at lay out and plan our day. On the weekend of our wedding Carla was never far away, greeting people, answering questions, Helping with set up and there for anything we needed.
We had a bbq on the Friday, the wedding on the Saturday and breakfast on the Sunday, really made the most of the weekend. 6 weeks on and our guests are still commenting, “how did you find that place” “wow what a venue” “your wedding was the best we have ever been to” and our favourite comment from guests “we want to do it again” that’s usually what you hear from a bride and groom but we have guests saying that!

We married in the woods, sun shining through the trees, cotton pollen floating gently was absolutely stunning, One of my guests said it felt so beautiful that she felt she was in an actual fairytale setting. If you’re looking for a venue completely bespoke to you, with no hidden costs and a wedding you can plan to match exactly how you dream, this is the place for you. I’d relive our wedding weekend every weekend if I could. Carla, the venue, the beauty of it all, you won’t regret it.

From the moment we finished viewing Glyngynwydd I think we knew it was where we wanted to get married. It was only the second venue we'd seen but we didn't feel the need to view anywhere else afterwards. Carla provided us with all the initial information we needed and throughout the whole process, from booking through to wedding day, she was unfailingly helpful and always quick with her responses.
I was going to describe Glyngynwydd as a blank canvas to build your wedding off, as it is largely a DIY venue in that you bring in your own suppliers (Carla has a list of suggestions if you're not sure where to start), but I feel that calling it blank would do it an injustice as it's probably better described as an incredibly beautiful backdrop that you can create your ideal day around.
For us, part of our ideal day meant having alpacas on site - an idea Carla supported with no hesitation.
We chose to have our ceremony in the woods, which is a beautiful space, but for rainy days, or those who prefer a more covered setting, there is the, equally lovely, open sided barn.
The fact that you have the venue from Friday afternoon to Sunday, meaning you don't need to rush to set up and tidy up on the Saturday, and that there is accommodation included on-site (as well as the option to pay for further accommodation in the form of pods and camping) is fab and very useful!
We truly couldn't have found somewhere better suited for our wedding and would strongly recommend visiting this wonderful venue for yourself.

Could not have asked for a better venue. The space is really well finished but perfect if you want to add your own touches. Lovely to have a space for the whole family to stay on site in the cottages too
