Our wedding at this Glyngynwydd Wedding Barns was nothing short of magical, and I truly could not have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate such a special occasion. From the very first enquiry, the communication was excellent – every question was answered quickly, every visit to the venue was warmly welcomed, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The owner’s care and attention to detail throughout the planning process made everything run smoothly, leaving us completely reassured and excited in the lead-up to our big day. Having the entire venue privately to ourselves for the whole weekend was such a unique and special touch, giving us the chance to relax and celebrate surrounded only by our family and friends, which made it all feel so personal and intimate. The cottages and pods for our wedding party and guests were absolutely perfect – beautifully kept, comfortable, and just what we needed to make the weekend even more memorable.
The setting itself was breathtaking from start to finish. Our ceremony in the woods was truly magical – the peaceful, natural backdrop of the trees created the most enchanting atmosphere and felt like something out of a fairytale. Afterwards, we had the most wonderful opportunity to capture photos in the beautiful meadow, which gave us the dreamiest, most romantic pictures that we will treasure forever. Every detail of the day flowed seamlessly, thanks to the outstanding service provided by the venue owner, whose professionalism and warmth were second to none. Everything went swimmingly, from start to finish, and I can honestly say it was beyond anything we could have imagined. It felt like our own little world for the weekend, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day and experience. -

From the moment we visited the Glyngynwydd we knew it would be the place that we were meant to get married. You have to visit it to fully get the experience of the venue it is absolutely stunning!
Carla the owner of the family run business is so kind and caring, she really wants to make sure you have the best experience from the get go and is very responsive with any questions and is always looking to make the venue even better. It is clear it’s not just a job for her but something she is passionate about.
It is the perfect mix of being close to local villages yet rural enough to just escape for the weekend with your closest people. Having the venue from Friday to Sunday meant we weren’t limited to one day of celebrations but a whole weekend! It was also nice that all the suppliers we used were from the local villages, supporting small businesses. Overall it was everything we could ask for and more, if you’re looking for a venue to add your own touch to and make your own choices this is the one. -

We had our wedding at Glyngynwydd wedding barn this summer and we would highly recommend it as a venue! The cost is very reasonable, Carla is excellent at communication (both in the lead up to and on the weekend of the wedding), the venue is beautiful and you can personalise it however you like! -

If you are looking for a beautiful venue that will allow all your wedding dreams and ideas to become a reality then Glyngynwydd really is your place. Our wedding at Glyngynwydd truly was magical. This is a picturesque, breath-taking venue with space for friends and family to stay (for the WHOLE weekend) with a warm, helpful and friendly host Carla who will be with you to help, answer questions and be on hand from the moment you book your date, to the moment you leave the site. We honestly cannot recommend this place enough, we don't think we could have got married anywhere else.

Amazing! Couldn't wish for more
I’ve always dreamt of getting married at this venue and when my dream came true it was all I’d ever wanted and more!!
The venue is so so beautiful and rustic, you don’t need much of your own decoration to make the place look amazing. Carla is always on hand to help and answer any questions but then also gives you space to do your own thing!
We managed to get married in the forest and it was so perfect! Wish we could go back and do it all again 🥹 -

From the moment we left the road and entered this hidden gem we knew that this venue would be the perfect place to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends,the date would be immaterial we wanted to be married here. The location ,size,open space,on site accommodation and communal areas allow all your guests to feel that they are on holiday,but veery much at home. Carla is beyond helpful and no question is unanswered,during the wedding day Carla is the ultimost host to ensure your day runs smoothly,her experience is priceless. We couldn't have wished for a better place a better day to have our wedding. -

The flexibility to have your day your way at Glyngynwydd is insane, Carla said to us, the only rules are "Don't burn the place down!". It gave us so much scope to share our personalities in our day on a timeline that suited us without the constraints other venues place on you with lots of opportunity to DIY thanks to the venue hire lasting for the whole weekend. We let Carla know when all of our deliveries/collections were happening in the lead-up and days after, and she kindly coordinated delivery drivers and ensured the right people picked up the right things. The other reason we chose the venue is because its only half an hour from our home and the scenery, the woods, the fields, the old barns put on such a beautiful display of typical Welsh countryside that was such a delight to share with our guests travelling from all over the UK. Even in the rain, there are so many spaces to use indoors and half indoors/half outdoors, allowing you to make the most of any breaks in the cloud. The accommodation options are also fabulous if you have people travelling with several cottages onsite and glamping pods; each of our pod campers teamed up with a cottage to share their facilities, so whilst there were a few first-time glampers, they certainly haven't been put off. -

Stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Plas Dinam, lovely place to stay. Carla is a great host, so very friendly and cant do enough for you. Great place to stay on an individual basis or with a large group. We will definitely be back ! Finally, special mention to Guinness the dog, who is just adorable!

We got married at Glyngynwydd on Saturday and it was bloody fantastic!!!!
I do not have a single negative comment about the venue or Carla, the lovely owner.
From start to end Carla was supportive, helpful, understanding and answered all my questions no matter how trivial!
The cottages are beautiful and well equipped, plus warm, cosy and comfortable.
We used the Pods on site and everyone who stated in them said how warm and comfy they were, and loved the little pod area.
One of our guests brought along a mobile home and was made to feel just as welcome!
The stables area as a communal space was fantastic and had everything we needed including a log fire for the rainy cold day after the wedding.
The new honeymoon suite.is wonderfully decorated, the shower is brilliant and the bed super comfy! So much so we took a picture of the name of the mattress!
The venue itself is STUNNING! The barn is beautiful, the fields and scenery are a perfect example of how beautiful Wales is.
I would highly recommend Glyngynwydd. Our wedding there was PERFECT.

Intimate and special
We used glyngynwydd wedding barn for our wedding and what a absolutely amazing place. Couldn’t have asked for more. The cottages are beautifully set up. Carla is absolutely amazing and supportive in every way. The indoor and outdoor ceremony set ups are beautifully presented and then you can add your personal touch. Has amazing knowledge and helped every step of the way. Would 100% recommend especially for that intimate touch -
