  Our dreams came true

  Words can not express the gratitude we feel towards the wonderful team at East Mersea Hall. The venue is like a fairytale and the team made it all come true. The day was perfect including the weather, the decor, the food, the fireworks, the atmosphere, the staff and the management.
  As bride and groom we were able to completely relax and enjoy our day with our friends and family without any concerns for the running of events as the management team at EMH in particular Jess did the most incredible job.
  All the staff were delightful, working to ensure everyone was looked after. We couldn’t recommend EMH enough. The entire experience from start to finish (oh no it’s over) was fantastic. And our guests requested we have a party : day like that every Saturday! So we will see you at our five / ten / fifteen and every anniversary.

  We just wanted to say the biggest thank you to Kirsty, Jess, Anneka and the whole team at East Mersea Hall for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. Everything ran so smoothly, and we honestly couldn't have asked for anything more.
  
  From the moment we arrived, we felt completely looked after. The whole day felt effortless, thanks to all the planning and hard work going on behind the scenes. You made it so easy for us to just enjoy every second without worrying about a thing.
  
  The venue looked stunning, the vibe was so relaxed and happy, and everything just flowed perfectly. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the day was and how lovely and helpful everyone was.
  
  Thank you again for making our day so special and memorable, we’ll be talking about it for years to come!

  Best day ever!

  We were delighted with the service by EMH. Our wedding package was fully bespoke and we could do what we wanted for our wedding day. Anneka ensured that all our questions were promptly answered and that everything went smoothly on the day - nothing was a problem. The wedding breakfast was wonderful and all the guests complimented the food. The venue is very picturesque and we were able to use both indoor and outdoor areas! Everyone at EMH is very friendly and personable. We couldn't have had a better day!

  The wedding day of dreams

  We fell in love with East Mersea Hall the first time we came to visit. The venue is gorgeous, as soon as you see the lake and outdoor setting, we knew we would be getting married there. Everything about our day was perfect, from start to finish, and we couldn't have done it without the amazing Anneka. All of our guests also couldn't have faulted the day, the setting or the food, perfect perfect perfect! We can't thank you enough.

  The most amazing venue! A hidden gem 💎

  Honestly, from start to finish the East Mersea Hall team have been impeccable! From booking in January 2024, to the many wedding fairs we attended and let’s not forget the unforgettable food tasting. All of our guests were raving about the venue and especially the food.
  
  Our wedding coordinator Anneka, went above and beyond at every stage of the planning and on the day. The serving staff deserve a special mention as they were so attentive and made us feel like family. EMH is amazing! 🤩

  Our special day at EMH

  Professional, amazing service and the best experience we could have wished for. EMH made our dreams come true with a reasonable budget. Nothing was ever too much effort for this incredible team of staff.
  
  From the very first second that my partner and I stepped in to EMH we admired the professionalism and honesty. In some instances wedding venues can try and make as much money out of couples as they possibly can. Not in this situation, East Mersea worked with our budget, to ensure we had the most amazing days. We never felt pushed into decisions in the planning process and they were always available on hand. They said initially, that they were only a phone call away and they kept to that throughout. From our late night panic emails to early morning messages, they always responded promptly with the upmost professionalism. Anneka and the team managed everything perfectly in the build up and as we approached the big day, they were constantly checking in to see if we were ok. We used their excellent suppliers (Evo and Sylvie Neumann photography as well as buttercups cakes). Anneka contacted all of them throughout and kept them informed, that took the pressure off of my partner and I. The day itself was an utter dream, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was ever too much to worry about. The food was spectacular, the staff were so attentive and kept in mind all of the guests. In particular, my grandmother who they continuously brought tea and coffee to all day as they knew she was a little cold. It was the small things that meant the most at EMH and they definitely knew how to follow that up. The evening was superb, lovely evening buffet. As my wife and I (and 6 month baby) drove out of EMH on the morning after, we all had a tear in our eye. We will miss the wonderful staff team at EMH, we considered them close friends in the process and would have regular conversations over dinner about how amazing they were. We actually feel sad now when we see other people at the venue, it’s our special place and will be forever as it made our dream come true on a special day in February. Anneka and team, we cannot applaud or thank you enough. You truly are incredible and we are glad we got to do our special day with you guys by outside.

  Everything, just perfect!

  If we could get married every week at East Mersea Hall, we'd happily keep doing it until time stops! Anneka and the team were phenomenal from the first moment at their Open Evening to seeing us off the morning after our wedding. The outstanding personal touches of the stunning venue, the warm welcome every single time we spoke, the magnificent organisation, the absolute ease of flow on the day, the unrivalled support and eradication of stress from start to finish, they made our day perfect.

  Our Twilight Wedding

  We were married at East Mersea hall on the 27th October in a beautiful twilight event! It really was the most amazing day I can't recommend East Mersea Hall enough!
  Anneka was on hand to offer help and support with every query, she thought of every single detail and kept us on track on our big day we couldn't of done it without her!
  The food was amazing and everyone at the wedding commented on how much they enjoyed it!
  The venue itself looked absolutely stunning the whole experience was among from the first moment we stepped into East Mersea Hall we were made to feel welcome and at ease the whole process of booking down to the day itself
  We cannot thank the team enough for all their support

  Best day ever!

  We recently got married at East Mersea Hall. I cannot praise the venue, the staff or the food enough. Nothing was too much trouble. As a couple we are both quite reserved and would rather be in the back ground but Sophie and the team at EMH made us feel like we were in complete control and nothing we wanted didn’t happen. We both absolutely loved the day and would do it all over again if we could but would change nothing.
  
  Even the rain didn’t dampen the spirits of anyone. If you are reading this and thinking about booking the venue DO IT!! All our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how amazing the atmosphere was too.
  
  Thank you so so much for everything we loved it.

  Jenny and Grahame’s Wedding

  East Mersea hall is just a fabulous place to hold a wedding. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are fantastic and the food was top quality. The dedicated venue manager took us through the planning stage step by step making many useful suggestions key to the success of the day and avoiding several pit falls. Any changes we requested were always acted upon quickly. The result for us was, we had a fantastic wedding day, contributed to by all the staff for which, nothing was too much trouble.
