Denbies Wine Estate is a wedding venue in Dorking, Surrey. Situated in the heart of the Surrey Hills and boasting incredible views of Box Hill and the North Downs, this 265-acre property is the largest vineyard in England and one of the finest wedding destinations in all of Surrey. Facilities and Capacity
Denbies Wine Estate is licensed to host civil ceremonies and partnerships, so you and your guests needn't worry about travelling between locations. You can spend the whole day taking in the beauty of the vineyard and its surroundings and making memories that you'll cherish forever.
The venue offers a choice of fabulous event spaces. You can have your ceremony in the Ranmore Suite, Denbies Vineyard Hotel Restaurant, the Garden Room, or the Denbies Suite. The newly renovated Ranmore Suite can accommodate parties of up to 50 people; the Denbies Suite is the largest of the venue's ceremony spaces and has a capacity of 180 guests. The versatile Denbies Vineyard Hotel Restaurant hosts parties of 40 to 150 guests and includes a lovely outdoor area, perfect for enjoying the sun and fresh air.
Denbies Wine Estate also has five reception venues: the Conservatory Atrium, the Garden Room, Denbies Vineyard Hotel, the Gallery Restaurant, and Denbies Cellar. Denbies Cellar hosts wine-tasting sessions and pre-reception drinks. Denbies Vineyard Hotel offers exclusive dining for 20 to 40 people, while the Gallery Restaurant can seat 30 to 60 of your family and friends for an intimate meal. The third-floor Conservatory Atrium and Garden Room have a combined capacity of 400 people.

Denbies Wine Estate offers a choice of wedding packages; package features include a drinks reception, a three-course meal, and a sparkling wine toast. Bespoke packages are also available. Fabulous September Wedding
If you're considering dates, I highly recommend choosing September. The lush green vines and ripening grapes create a stunning, natural backdrop for photos—truly picture-perfect.
One thing to keep in mind: if you're planning to have your wedding dinner in the conservatory, there is a set earliest start time for the meal. It’s just part of how the venue runs, and honestly, it worked out really well for us. Denbies suggested an afternoon tea to bridge the gap, and it turned out to be a lovely addition (at an extra cost but worth it). Our guests really enjoyed it, and it kept everyone happy and relaxed before dinner.
I would recommend if you're considering this venue to try out the food at the conservatory as it is very delicious (especially the cream tea).

Incredible venue, amazing staff, made our day simply perfection
It was just perfect, everything we dreamt of and more. Ellie and Abi made our day, a day to remember, everything we had planned they organised to perfection, they really go that extra mile to ensure your day is everything you dream of and they certainly smashed it at ours.
I cannot thank Ellie enough for all your support in the build-up and Abi support on the day, the rest of the team on the day was incredible, everyone was so friendly and helpful and honestly couldn't do enough to help. The food was insane so a huge thank you to the chef and the team.
Not to forget the hotel staff, our stay and dinner the night before was honestly second to none, they could not do enough. The morning of the wedding they were there to support with anything and everything and nothing was too much trouble, so thank you!
We can never thank you all enough for our special day. You are all amazing!!

Ellie and the team were absolutely incredible as our wedding coordinators at Denbies. They made the entire day feel seamless and perfect, taking all the stress away and allowing us to truly enjoy every moment. From start to finish, they made us feel completely at ease, handling every detail with such professionalism and care. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Amazing service and a brilliant day
After being let down by another venue, Denbies took on our wedding at 5 months notice. From the moment we engaged with them Ellie was amazing and positive, no ask was too much and she found a way to make our vision come to life.
On the day the whole team went to great lengths to give us the perfect day, the on the day coordinator, hotel, bar and waiting staff were all incredible. We got so many comments from guests about how the venue staff went above and beyond and we generally had the best day ever in a beautiful setting!
