Deans Court is an elegant wedding venue located in Wimborne, Dorset. The dedicated events team at this stunning property strives to provide couples with a fully tailored experience, leaving them to enjoy a fun, relaxed, and memorable day to celebrate the beginning of their new lives together.
Facilities and Capacity
Deans Court has been hosting unforgettable celebrations at this stunning property since 2011. The estate is a private home, ensuring that there will be no other visitors in attendance during your gathering. Perfect stumbling distance from the marquee you will find the recently renovated farmers' cottages and gatehouse. Sleeping up to 28 people in total, they are available for your guests who have travelled far, or perhaps for the newlyweds. This property can host celebrations of up to 160 attendees and is ideal for weddings receptions and other special events.

The venue offers packages that can be customised to suit your needs and requirements for your big day. During your day you will have exclusive hire of the Deans Court gardens as well as the use of the marquee and all of the essential extras. Our dream wedding
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Our day at Deans Court in August 2026 was truly magical, and we will treasure the memories forever.
From the very beginning, Jonathan, Sass and the entire Deans Court team were absolutely amazing. They were incredibly helpful, supportive and responsive with every question and query we had. Their experience, kindness and attention to detail gave us so much confidence throughout the planning process.
On the day itself, everything ran so seamlessly. We were able to completely relax and enjoy every moment, knowing that we were in such capable hands. We were even able to have our family dog participate during the ceremony and drinks reception which made the day extra special!
Deans Court provided the most beautiful and magical setting for our wedding, and the atmosphere was everything we had dreamed of and more. The house, gardens, lake and marquee are the perfect backdrop for any English garden wedding. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and that is was perfect for the relaxed wedding they all knew we wanted.
We couldn’t recommend Deans Court highly enough to any couple looking for their perfect wedding venue.

The most incredible venue and the best day!
Deans Court really is a magical place. It was the first and last venue I visited. We knew as soon as we arrived and were greeted by Georgia that this was the place we would have our special day. In the lead up to our day we were looked after by Jonathan who was equally as brilliant.
Communication the whole time was second to none. The advice and experience from all staff made everything so easy.
We met Joey for the first time two days before the wedding, she was fantastic and on the day kept everything running smoothly. We then had Henry look after us in the evening. All staff were amazing!

The most perfect day
From the moment we made initial contact with Deans Court, we were incredibly impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism & attention to detail.
In comparison to other venues in the local area, Deans Court is extremely good value for money with no compromises being made. We truly struck gold with this venue.
When it came to the days leading up to the wedding & the special day itself, Deans Court were there to provide support, guidance and reassurance where required.
Upon reflection, we feel extremely grateful to have been able to have such a special event of our lives take place at such a beautiful venue, overseen by such an experienced and professional team.

What an incredible venue!
We couldn’t recommend Deans Court more! From the outset the staff were brilliant, responsive and incredibly organised. The venue is beautiful and it was perfect for a relaxed wedding in the sunshine! The day itself flowed so smoothly and nothing was too much for them, a big shout out to both Johnathan and Henry for their amazing work and attentiveness throughout.

An absolute PERFECT day
We had our wedding at Deans Court on the 1st of August 2026. The day was perfect from start to finish. From the early organising from Georgia who passed the baton to Jonathan we couldn't have asked for better people to organise the day. Jonathan has such a calm and professional presence and really put our minds at ease early on. When we arrived at the venue we were absolutely blown away. We had a vision and it far exceeded what we could have imagined. Every single detail was thought of. The day staff lead by Joey were a joy to be around and they made sure all of our guests had the best day! We are both on cloud 9 and couldn't be happier and feel so lucky to have had such a special day!

Dream July Wedding
The Deans court team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They couldn’t do more to help us out and get to the day we dreamed of. The venue is amazing, the list of suppliers they provided us were great and our day went without a hitch. Jonathon is super responsive and truly cares about getting the outcome you want, flexible and thoughtful throughout, if we needed anything all we had to do was ask (within reason of course). On the day we had Joey coordinate and help us through proceedings and she was great, smooth sailing! Helped us take a minute when we needed it and anything needed sorting she was on it. When her day was finished, Henry took over for the evening and he was equally great. I can’t speak highly enough of the whole team at dean’s court. Professional, kind, caring and wonderful people throughout.

Henry's first
We booked out wedding well in advance and were had been a bit confused with certain elements of the venue and day itself however leading up to the wedding we had Jonathan take over our booking and he was absolutely amazing, he was very responsive to questions, calm and inviting at all in person appointments like nothing was too much to ask and had a great attitude. It really put us at ease.
A few days before we met our coordinator for the day, Henry, turned out this was his first wedding in charge and he did a brilliant job, the whole day we weren't aware of anything going on in the background which is exactly how it should be for the couple, even if things weren't going exactly to plan on the day we never knew. His organisation of everything he already had or was brought in the morning was flawless and after we'd done our vowels he was there as we turned around with our first drink as Mr & Mrs which was a very pleasant touch.
For the rest, staff were fantastic, helpful and approachable throughout the whole day and it made us feel really special as well as the grounds being picturesque throughout the day and into the evening/ night sky.

Mr & Mrs Saunders Wedding 2026
Our wedding at Deans Court genuinely felt like stepping into a fairytale. From the moment we arrived on the Friday night, the team made us feel completely at ease. They were warm, friendly and clearly invested in giving us the best day of our lives, and every member of staff went above and beyond to create a celebration we will remember forever.

Amazing Venue & Staff
Our wedding coordinators Jonathan and Henry made our wedding planning and day seamless from start to finish. We could not thank the staff at Deans Court enough for their personalised service; helpful, reassuring and excellent care. The venue is beautiful in bloom, excellent value for money, and our summer wedding exceeded our expectations. Multiple guests praised the venue and staff working on our wedding day, everyone was happy and attentive. We are so pleased we booked with this venue who orchestrated the most perfect wedding day for us both, and would recommend them to future couples planning their special day!

Couldn't Have Asked for a More Perfect Place
Back in 2024 we visited Deans Court as a potential wedding venue, and even undressed and late summer, you could see that it was such a special place.
Fast forward to 27th June 2026, our wedding day, and it was just magical.
The Deans Court team was exceptional from the very beginning, always available to answer our questions and clarify any uncertainties. As the date drew closer, they provided clear guidance on our responsibilities and supplies, while maintaining seamless communication with our vendors. They executed the setup exactly as I had envisioned, and it was perfect.
On the day itself, the team kept me feeling calm and organized, allowing me to focus entirely on getting married. Our guests commented on how polite and efficient the staff were.
They managed every minor hiccup professionally, ensuring everyone was well-fed, hydrated, and happy—you truly could not ask for more.
As a sidenote, we hired out The Gate House, Plum and Apple Cottages within Deans Court which was a godsend, and would highly recommend doing this for the main wedding party.
It is such a perfect place, in the middle of Wimborne (which you would never know), but great for accommodation for guests and has all the amenities you want, but then Deans Court is a world away in this magical landscape which is just for you.
Highly recommended.

The best wedding day!
We are so thrilled that our wedding day was such a success - everything ran incredibly smoothly, and the marquee and site looked amazing. All of our guests commented on how accommodating and friendly the staff were, and we could not agree more.
None of this would have been possible had it not been for Jonathan, Saskia and team and for all their efforts and attention to detail on the day, and in the lead up to it.

Best day of my life!
Thankyou so much Dean's Court for helping make our wedding the perfect day. The staff were all fantastic, really professional and friendly, everything on the day went really smoothly - thank you to Sass who led the team on the day, she was brilliant. They were really accommodating to any requests we had and were very helpful with offering suggestions for logistical/practical aspects (e.g. helping us to decide whether round vs long tables would be best for our wedding). Jonathan liaised with us really well leading up to the wedding and was really organised and easy to work with. The venue was stunning, the grounds really well kept, the set up and backdrop for the ceremony was beautiful. The PA system and speakers for reception music all worked flawlessly and were good quality. I would 100% recommend. We stayed in the Gatehouse which was also brilliant and made the weekend even better - would also highly recommend.

Parker wedding May 2026
We highly recommend Deans Court as a wedding venue. Most of our dealings were with Jonathan, his light hearted humour and calming presence reassured us from the get go. He is a breath of fresh air and his experience is evident immediately. Our head of house on the day, Joey, was also exceptional and ensured from the rehearsal that she had it all in hand, reassuring us that the day would run smoothly.
Deans Court professionalism, amazingly well kept grounds, value for money and amazing support have made our wedding planning experience as stress free as possible. We genuinely feel lucky and grateful to have worked with such an amazing team and could not recommend them enough.
