Our wedding coordinators Jonathan and Henry made our wedding planning and day seamless from start to finish. We could not thank the staff at Deans Court enough for their personalised service; helpful, reassuring and excellent care. The venue is beautiful in bloom, excellent value for money, and our summer wedding exceeded our expectations. Multiple guests praised the venue and staff working on our wedding day, everyone was happy and attentive. We are so pleased we booked with this venue who orchestrated the most perfect wedding day for us both, and would recommend them to future couples planning their special day!

From day 1 of booking to the event itself, the whole process was flawless. The professionalism and organisation was first class. We can't thank everyone at Deans Court enough for giving us the most perfect wedding day.

Back in 2024 we visited Deans Court as a potential wedding venue, and even undressed and late summer, you could see that it was such a special place.

Fast forward to 27th June 2026, our wedding day, and it was just magical.
The Deans Court team was exceptional from the very beginning, always available to answer our questions and clarify any uncertainties. As the date drew closer, they provided clear guidance on our responsibilities and supplies, while maintaining seamless communication with our vendors. They executed the setup exactly as I had envisioned, and it was perfect.

On the day itself, the team kept me feeling calm and organized, allowing me to focus entirely on getting married. Our guests commented on how polite and efficient the staff were.
They managed every minor hiccup professionally, ensuring everyone was well-fed, hydrated, and happy—you truly could not ask for more.

As a sidenote, we hired out The Gate House, Plum and Apple Cottages within Deans Court which was a godsend, and would highly recommend doing this for the main wedding party.

It is such a perfect place, in the middle of Wimborne (which you would never know), but great for accommodation for guests and has all the amenities you want, but then Deans Court is a world away in this magical landscape which is just for you.

Highly recommended.

It was an incredibly special day in a beautiful location, and we owe that to Jonathan, Joey, and the rest of the team for making it happen.

We are so thrilled that our wedding day was such a success - everything ran incredibly smoothly, and the marquee and site looked amazing. All of our guests commented on how accommodating and friendly the staff were, and we could not agree more.

None of this would have been possible had it not been for Jonathan, Saskia and team and for all their efforts and attention to detail on the day, and in the lead up to it.

The team were so flexible and willing to make our day exactly as we'd envisioned, often encouraging us to stick with our gut, and even coming up with ideas to make it even better due to their amazing experience and genuine care that we had the best day possible.

Jonathan was so responsive to all our questions throughout, and we always felt we were in a safe pair of hands, we felt listened to and valued throughout - we really cannot thank them enough.

Staying at the gatehouse was the cherry on top - such a fabulous venue to host all our close friends and family in the lead up to the event, which are memories we will cherish forever.

Thankyou so much Dean's Court for helping make our wedding the perfect day. The staff were all fantastic, really professional and friendly, everything on the day went really smoothly - thank you to Sass who led the team on the day, she was brilliant. They were really accommodating to any requests we had and were very helpful with offering suggestions for logistical/practical aspects (e.g. helping us to decide whether round vs long tables would be best for our wedding). Jonathan liaised with us really well leading up to the wedding and was really organised and easy to work with. The venue was stunning, the grounds really well kept, the set up and backdrop for the ceremony was beautiful. The PA system and speakers for reception music all worked flawlessly and were good quality. I would 100% recommend. We stayed in the Gatehouse which was also brilliant and made the weekend even better - would also highly recommend.

We highly recommend Deans Court as a wedding venue. Most of our dealings were with Jonathan, his light hearted humour and calming presence reassured us from the get go. He is a breath of fresh air and his experience is evident immediately. Our head of house on the day, Joey, was also exceptional and ensured from the rehearsal that she had it all in hand, reassuring us that the day would run smoothly.
Deans Court professionalism, amazingly well kept grounds, value for money and amazing support have made our wedding planning experience as stress free as possible. We genuinely feel lucky and grateful to have worked with such an amazing team and could not recommend them enough.

Jonathan, Georgia, Julia, Joey, and all the staff at Deans Court truly made this day so special for us. Everything was looked after, we had the most stress free wedding ever thanks to them! The grounds were stunning and Deans Court were more than accommodating for anything we wanted to make our day ours. We can’t thank or recommend them enough!

We loved Deans' Court for it's location, it's private and secluded yet right in the middle of town so our guests could stay nearby easily. We loved the flexibility with this venue, without having to do absolutely everything yourself. We could not fault the service we received, the day ran so perfectly thanks to Georgia. She had honestly thought of everything (even little details like fixing my veil, or making sure we were the first to have a glass of fizz!.

We cannot begin to recommend Dean's Court more highly as a wedding venue. Right from the very beginning, Georgia and her team were exceptional - incredibly responsive and so generous with their time for catch up calls or questions over email. The entire process was so smooth and stress free, with the venue being incredibly flexible in making sure our dreams came true.

Georgia in particular is magic - she made everything come together so beautifully and we trusted her entirely. On the day the venue looked incredible - with last minute changes no problem for the team (incl Catherine) who worked wonders! Throughout our wedding day we felt so looked after - from making sure the bride and groom got canapés during our pictures to ensuring I had a constant delivery of our wedding cocktail during dinner - they couldn't have been more amazing, thoughtful or efficient.

In terms of value, Dean's Court is exceptional in our view. You get so much for what you're paying for - with beautifully manicured gardens, stunning marquee, amazing wet weather back up plan in the main house of your event is large enough (which we used and LOVED). On top of all that you get the most supportive and fantastic team all the way through - I couldn't recommend them more.

It's an amazing venue, with accommodation on site too and so close to town so no guests have to drive - truly one of a kind!

It’s been difficult to write this review because it marks the end of our wedding celebrations, back to normal life, yet when you have a wedding at Deans Court, it feels impossible to want to return back from cloud nine.

From the moment we hit send to enquire about a venue tour to the post wedding de-brief, the whole journey with Deans Court has been handled with such grace, organisation and overall commitment. When working with such a tight knit group such as the Wedding & Events team at Deans Court the whole process felt easy, adaptable and smooth. All things you need to create the perfect wedding.

We feel honoured to have Georgia by our side from the very beginning, who shows a sheer amount of determination and passion. No question was too big nor small, too silly nor goofy and felt supported during the times where we would feel overwhelmed. Georgia walked us through our rainy day option which we ended up using yet our guests did not realise it wasn’t the original plan, we even forgot because the beauty of Deans Court is beyond magical. A huge thank you to Georgia, Henry, Catherine and the staff inside and out of the marquee for making our entire day flawless.

A massive thank you to Deans Court Cafe (Julia & Ana) for our catering, they worked with our dietary restrictions/ allergies with enthusiasm, care and with such grace. From the moment the food was brought out to our guests till even now, we have been inundated with amazing feedback about our food. We feel honoured to have used the Deans Court Catering option and it paired perfectly to who we are as a couple and our preferences. It is truly unique that we get to come back to Deans Court Cafe and have a taste of our wedding breakfast whenever we fancy, that in itself is remarkable, unique and something we will forever treasure. The Deans Court catering option is truly the gift that keeps giving.

Ultimately, for us as a couple, Deans Court was always going to be the one. With the history of the house, the amazing work done from the garden into the kitchen and its ever growing determination to preserve its past and sustain its future, we are incredibly lucky to have had our day there.

The venue is absolutely beautiful, we had so many compliments from our guests about it. The set up and flow is perfect. Even though the venue is stunning, the absolute stand out is the staff. Georgia, the events and hospitality manager, made sure the day ran like clockwork, she is so fantastic at her job we couldn't be more grateful to her. Alongside Catherine and the rest of the team there who were all so lovely, calming and incredibly good at their jobs. Would book deans court again in a heart beat, the best decision we made for our big day!

We got married at Deans Court just over a week ago and had the most incredible experience.

On the day itself, we were lucky to have beautiful weather, which made each part of the celebration even more special. The ceremony, canapés on the lawn, wedding breakfast, and evening party all flowed effortlessly.

From the moment we saw Deans Court to our amazing wedding this past weekend we could not fault the location, venue, organisation and professionalism of the Deans Court team especially Georgia, Sash and Henry. Nothing was ever too much trouble over the 18 months from our engagement to wedding day and we had multiple visits/tours with our wedding party and multiple questions/needs! Georgia took care of everything with meticulous detail and we never doubted we were in the best hands. I manage some events in my work life and so I am not the easiest customer seeing where things can go wrong in advance of any event!! We would not hesitate to recommend Deans Court to anyone wanting a beautiful, elegant wedding. We are in our 50s and we wanted an informal but well planned wedding where everything was taken care of and that's exactly what we got. We had 96 day guests and a further 70 in the evening. EVERYONE commented on how beautiful the wedding was! Thank you Deans Court!
