We cannot begin to recommend Dean's Court more highly as a wedding venue. Right from the very beginning, Georgia and her team were exceptional - incredibly responsive and so generous with their time for catch up calls or questions over email. The entire process was so smooth and stress free, with the venue being incredibly flexible in making sure our dreams came true.

Georgia in particular is magic - she made everything come together so beautifully and we trusted her entirely. On the day the venue looked incredible - with last minute changes no problem for the team (incl Catherine) who worked wonders! Throughout our wedding day we felt so looked after - from making sure the bride and groom got canapés during our pictures to ensuring I had a constant delivery of our wedding cocktail during dinner - they couldn't have been more amazing, thoughtful or efficient.

In terms of value, Dean's Court is exceptional in our view. You get so much for what you're paying for - with beautifully manicured gardens, stunning marquee, amazing wet weather back up plan in the main house of your event is large enough (which we used and LOVED). On top of all that you get the most supportive and fantastic team all the way through - I couldn't recommend them more.

It's an amazing venue, with accommodation on site too and so close to town so no guests have to drive - truly one of a kind!

It’s been difficult to write this review because it marks the end of our wedding celebrations, back to normal life, yet when you have a wedding at Deans Court, it feels impossible to want to return back from cloud nine.

From the moment we hit send to enquire about a venue tour to the post wedding de-brief, the whole journey with Deans Court has been handled with such grace, organisation and overall commitment. When working with such a tight knit group such as the Wedding & Events team at Deans Court the whole process felt easy, adaptable and smooth. All things you need to create the perfect wedding.

We feel honoured to have Georgia by our side from the very beginning, who shows a sheer amount of determination and passion. No question was too big nor small, too silly nor goofy and felt supported during the times where we would feel overwhelmed. Georgia walked us through our rainy day option which we ended up using yet our guests did not realise it wasn’t the original plan, we even forgot because the beauty of Deans Court is beyond magical. A huge thank you to Georgia, Henry, Catherine and the staff inside and out of the marquee for making our entire day flawless.

A massive thank you to Deans Court Cafe (Julia & Ana) for our catering, they worked with our dietary restrictions/ allergies with enthusiasm, care and with such grace. From the moment the food was brought out to our guests till even now, we have been inundated with amazing feedback about our food. We feel honoured to have used the Deans Court Catering option and it paired perfectly to who we are as a couple and our preferences. It is truly unique that we get to come back to Deans Court Cafe and have a taste of our wedding breakfast whenever we fancy, that in itself is remarkable, unique and something we will forever treasure. The Deans Court catering option is truly the gift that keeps giving.

Ultimately, for us as a couple, Deans Court was always going to be the one. With the history of the house, the amazing work done from the garden into the kitchen and its ever growing determination to preserve its past and sustain its future, we are incredibly lucky to have had our day there.

The venue is absolutely beautiful, we had so many compliments from our guests about it. The set up and flow is perfect. Even though the venue is stunning, the absolute stand out is the staff. Georgia, the events and hospitality manager, made sure the day ran like clockwork, she is so fantastic at her job we couldn't be more grateful to her. Alongside Catherine and the rest of the team there who were all so lovely, calming and incredibly good at their jobs. Would book deans court again in a heart beat, the best decision we made for our big day!

We got married at Deans Court just over a week ago and had the most incredible experience.

From our very first meeting with Georgia, we knew this was the perfect venue for us. Throughout the entire planning process, every detail was handled with such care and precision — everything truly felt seamless.

On the day itself, we were lucky to have beautiful weather, which made each part of the celebration even more special. The ceremony, canapés on the lawn, wedding breakfast, and evening party all flowed effortlessly.

It was a perfect day, and so many of our guests — especially those local to the area — commented on what a stunning venue and hidden gem Deans Court is.

Georgia was outstanding, and the entire team worked with such professionalism and warmth, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We honestly cannot recommend Deans Court highly enough.

From the moment we saw Deans Court to our amazing wedding this past weekend we could not fault the location, venue, organisation and professionalism of the Deans Court team especially Georgia, Sash and Henry. Nothing was ever too much trouble over the 18 months from our engagement to wedding day and we had multiple visits/tours with our wedding party and multiple questions/needs! Georgia took care of everything with meticulous detail and we never doubted we were in the best hands. I manage some events in my work life and so I am not the easiest customer seeing where things can go wrong in advance of any event!! We would not hesitate to recommend Deans Court to anyone wanting a beautiful, elegant wedding. We are in our 50s and we wanted an informal but well planned wedding where everything was taken care of and that's exactly what we got. We had 96 day guests and a further 70 in the evening. EVERYONE commented on how beautiful the wedding was! Thank you Deans Court!

We had a perfect scene experience planning our wedding at Deans Court from the beginning to the end. Georgia was absolutely amazing at listening to us and taking note of every single detail to make the day bespoke to us and special. She was so flexible at changing things around and adding little touches for us to make sure we were happy. I’m normally such a planner and worry about little details but Georgia took those worries away so I could enjoy the day. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of parking and lots of other things are included that aren’t in other venues we viewed e.g. fire pit, garden games. Catherine and the decorating team were amazing at setting up and making the place look beautiful. The fact that there is a decorating team on site included meant that I could relax for the days before/after and enjoy time with family and friends. It’s also a great location and close to Wimborne so there is plenty of accommodation within walking distance nearby. Would recommend this venue to all!

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Deans Court. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care and professionalism. A special mention must go to Georgia, whose communication was absolutely outstanding, she was warm, responsive, and reassuring every step of the way, making the planning process feel effortless.

On the day itself, the weather had other ideas and we had to move inside but honestly, it turned out to be perfect. The indoor setting was intimate, elegant, and created an atmosphere even more magical than we could have imagined. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, and we completely agree.

Staying in the on-site accommodation was the icing on the cake. It meant we could truly relax, enjoy the surroundings, and spend extra time with our loved ones in the most charming setting.

Deans Court is an absolute gem of a venue; beautiful, welcoming, and full of character. We will always be grateful to Georgia and the whole team for making our day so unforgettable. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough!

Wow... I'm not really sure where to start our review however anyone reading this must book Deans Court for your Wedding Day! From the moment we first enquired to the very last moments of leaving the venue, everything was exactly how we dreamt. Georgia and her team could not have done anything more to make the day go as smoothly as it did and the attention detail from all of the team is something we have never experienced before. The compliments we have received from our Family and Friends about the day reflect on how well you guys operate and the how stunning the venue is. We can't thank you guys enough and so much credit has to go to Georgia, she's one a kind and a real asset to the Deans Court wedding team.

Price
Having googled some prices for various wedding venues in the area we felt slightly faint at first. However, we stumbled upon Deans Court and the prices were very clearly laid out on the website and much more reasonable. Soon after the initial venue tour, Georgia provided us with a very clear cost breakdown so we didn’t feel like there were any hidden costs later down the line. We were not the biggest fans of the £15pp overhead for using an off-list caterer but this cost was upfront and known to us. The waitressing staff at Deans Court did an exceptional job so we understand the need to build this cost into the overall price. A couple of our guests are big drinkers and we heard they made friends with some of the staff who kept drinking flowing (although they were disappointed the bar was only stocked with American whiskey rather than Scottish)!
We also liked the option that you have a wedding as big or as small as you want in the marquee as everything was tailored to suit us.

Location
Having grown up near Wimborne, we hadn’t actually heard of Deans Court! However, it turned out to be a hidden gem on a massive plot of land with stunning scenery. We also liked that we had a couple of options for churches (Catholic and CofE) within a 5-10 walk of Deans Court. This made going between Wimborne Minster and Deans Court very easy for guests as they could park at Deans Court and walk to the Minster free of charge. We also didn’t need to plan for how guests would get from the Church to the venue and the timings for this. Wimborne is also a lovely place to get married as it avoids the crowds of Poole and Bournemouth and has some really nice hotels in the town within a walking distance of Deans Court. We enjoyed walking from Deans Court to the Albion hotel at the end of the evening. We also like the holiday option of staying at a cottage at Deans Court as we think this will be a nice idea for an anniversary since we didn’t stay on site for the wedding.

Quality of Service
Georgia was fantastic at being the central point for all vendors and making the day run smoothly! The florist was 45 minutes late to the venue and didn’t tell anyone so Georgia was already planning to source alternative flowers from the gardens so kept it us calm knowing that Georgia had it all in hand! The staff were amazing at serving drinks to the groomsmen before the ceremony to calm any nerves and greeted us with our favourite drinks once we arrived to the reception in the car which was a pleasant surprise. Our guests commented that the staff were excellent and very friendly to talk to. We appreciated that the two staff cleaning up the venue at the end of the evening were very relaxed and let us spend as much time as needed to soak up the day before heading to the hotel. One member of staff even offered to take a lovely photo of us once all the guests had left which was one of our favourite photos from the day.
In terms of the wedding preparation and meetings, Georgia was very patient with us and offered her ideas which we really appreciated. We didn’t have a clear vision for the day since we were the first in our families to get married for several years and neither had attended a wedding we could actually remember!
It was also great that our photographer, Anna Morgan, knew someone at Deans Court and the venue well so knew good areas of the grounds for photos.

We highly recommend having a wedding at Deans Court as the staff and venue are excellent and felt it was value for money in this area.

You don't need us to tell you that the venue is beautiful and perfect for a dreamy, English garden wedding (that much is obvious!) What we will say is Deans Court, led by Georgia, are efficient, kind, responsive, understanding, enthusiastic, and expert. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day than our wedding at Deans Court in June. From organising our first viewing, Georgia was amazing, her communication was always clear, warm and supportive. She kept everything organised and made the whole experience feel exciting rather than overwhelming even when planning was ramping up!

On the day, after our ceremony just across the road, we were greeted by Georgia with glasses of fizz in hand as soon as we arrived, a thoughtful touch, while we had our group photos taken. It instantly set the tone for the rest of the day. Everything flowed seamlessly, and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing.

The grounds were stunning and gave the most perfect setting for our drinks reception in the sunshine. We felt so lucky with the weather, it really brought the gardens to life and made everything feel even more special. Even on one of the hottest days of the years, the marquee and garden location for our drinks reception was perfect, with just the right mix of shade and sun. The marquee was beautiful and ideal for both dinner and dancing, with our friends and family enjoying the relaxed vibe either out in the garden or on the dance floor in the evening. The layout worked perfectly, with everyone feeling part of the celebration, whether they were in the garden or on the dance floor.

We stayed at Plum Cottage the night before with our bridesmaids, which was such a peaceful and lovely place to get ready. After the wedding, it was the most relaxing spot for us to unwind and reflect on the day, waking up in the morning to hear the wedding bells from the minster where we got married the day before, was the perfect highlight.

The Deans Court house and grounds were the perfect backdrop for our celebrations and also our photos, which we’ll treasure forever. We loved everything about Deans Court, the look, the feel and the team, everything was perfect.

Huge thanks to Georgia and the entire team for making our wedding day so perfect. It truly was the best day of our lives, we wouldn't have changed a single thing.

Wow! What can we say?! We would HIGHLY recommend Deans Court to any couples looking to get married. Georgia is particularly helpful. A real asset to the team. Georgia is very organised, extremely professional, reassuring and accommodating. The whole day went so smoothly. We also stayed at Apple Cottage at Deans Court (the night before, myself and bridal party and then me and my husband the night of the wedding and the following night). This was equally as perfect, the setting, location, cleanliness and amenities provided. Again, we would highly recommend. We are so sad it is all over and will have no more regular contact with Georgia!!
