We had a fabulous wedding at St George's last summer! The staff were fantastic and really communicative whenever we asked questions about the venue. They were really accommodating for random requests, and helped us with last minute changes. It was one of the cheaper options we found in Bristol, but was an absolutely perfect venue for our wedding of around 90 people, with plenty of space, both inside and out, and built in bar/loos/changing rooms. It was a beautiful day, and we can definitely recommend!

We had the most amazing wedding at No 4, genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better day. The staff were absolutely fantastic so attentive and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Even when a button fell off my dress Marie was there with a needle and thread to sew it back on, and when we forgot the card box at Racks Harry rushed it over for us. I would highly recommend No 4 as a place to get married and if I could do it again tomorrow I would.

A massive thank you to Ed, family and all the team at Starlings for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! Ed really went above and beyond to make sure our special day was everything we hoped it could be (and more!). From the get go, Ed was incredibly accommodating and flexible - working with us to understand our vision and customise the venue, whilst designing bespoke food and cocktail menus for nearly a hundred people. The whole team were absolutely phenomenal and the venue is so versatile - seamlessly transitioning from summer cocktail reception, to restaurant, to party vibes. The food and drinks were delicious, the service exemplary and all our guests left happy and singing Starlings praises! We cannot thank you enough and look forward to seeing you all (including Jeffrey) soon! Jess & Sol

You get good value for your money at the grange. The team are very helpful and make your vision a reality!. The food is amazing, staff are super friendly and the rooms are very clean.

We had such and amazing wedding day at Barley Wood! The venue is gorgeous and thankfully the weather held out for us. Zach, Connor and all the team were so helpful and friendly, leading up to, and on the day. A lovely relaxed atmosphere. We are hoping to re-visit for other celebrations.

We chose this venue because we wanted to serve traditional food that we enjoy at our wedding, and this was one of few places where we could have external caterers. The venue also included all the cutlery, crockery and tablecloths we needed, which other places didn’t provide. The hall is very versatile, with the ability to close bits off or open them up depending on the number of guests you have. It’s also very fresh and neutral decor-wise (apart from the coloured chairs), which makes it easy to decorate it to your taste. There is a garden to the rear, where we had some outdoor games for guests, as well as plenty of greenery to the front, where we took our wedding photos. The staff I communicated with were very friendly, and on hand to help the evening before the wedding, when the key to the room with the tablecloths didn’t work. I highly recommend this venue - it’s rare to find a place with capacity for 200 guests at this price point.

The dream venue! We got married by a Registrar on the terrace overlooking the Suspension Bridge and it was perfect and utterly dreamy. The venue coordinator was extremely helpful and everything went very smoothly. Surely this is the best venue is Bristol?! We felt like we were flying in the sky and we were surrounded by nature, while also being in the middle of Bristol. Guests also get free access to the Giants Cave and Camera Obsecura, which is a fun extra. We had our reception at Avon Gorge Hotel as we had too many guests to fit in the Observatory so all our guests walked in a procession through the Down and over the road (10 min walk) with a marching Brass Band...perfecto!

Great location that worked for us with lots of families and small children. They worked brilliantly with our suppliers as well and it was really stress free.

Berwick Lodge is a beautiful and intimate venue. The service from the friendly staff was amazing. Our wedding guests were stunned by the beautiful building & grounds and loved the delicious food! We received a personal service through out the planning of our wedding and we are so happy we chose Berwick Lodge as the venue for our special day.

We chose to have our wedding on the SS Great Britain on 20th march 2010, as we wanted something a little different. The promenade deck where the ceremony took place is extremely atmospheric and accommodated our 120 guests comfortably. We only spent a short time on the deck due to the weather but it didn't spoil our day in any way. The first class dining saloon is incredibly grand, the tables were beautifully laid and the food outstanding. The staff were all very friendly, professional and courteous, and ensured our day ran smoothly throughout. Our guests had a fabulous time and many have commented on the wonderful venue. We look forward to returning to the SS Great Britain to relive our special day. If only we could do it all over again!
