When we found Laurel, we knew we wanted someone who has an interest in working with unique weddings and having looked at how she's done her own, we felt she could be the one! Although she's got her work cut out for her (our wedding was only 6 months away), she had somehow pieced together all our random ideas, venue requirements (to hold the ceremony, wedding breakfast and party at 3 different places!) and introduced us to Leyla who is the most fabulous stylist.

Although there were stressful moments during the planning which we're sure all couples no doubt will experience, Laurel was a god send and always there to provide reassurance. I particularly struggle to communicate with suppliers as I find the process stressful, so when Laurel took over the comms it was a life saver for all the things that needed to be done and for my mental health of course!

One week after the wedding we're still basking in the after glow and happiness of the big day and in utter disbelief how smooth everything had gone, where everything was exactly how we wanted and how it was planned! Had we tried to do this just on our own, or gone with a more conservative planner, we don't think the day could have been just as we wanted and one that suits our personality.

To say Laurel and her team are lifesavers is an understatement! Planning a destination wedding is a huge feat for any planner, but Laurel made our impossible seeming dreams come true with extreme finesse and grace (while always staying budget friendly without sacrificing our taste or vision). Nya Rue events were absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Even through the little things. Laurel helped with styling my wedding dress when I was having trouble picturing it. They even helped setting up our wedding website to deal with RSVPs and budgeting. All vendors were dealt with directly and everything was ran past us before confirming. Laurel and Meg were an absolutely brilliant team. They were so enthusiastic, and just understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Laurel made everything look like it was going so smoothly, which made us feel so relaxed and like everything was under control. We used Nya Rue Events for the on-the-day coordination of our wedding in West Sussex. Megan was unbelievably helpful - communication before hand was useful to ensure we had thought of everything on the day, and then when it came down to the day there was nothing Megan couldn't help with or try and sort. Having a dedicated person to help alleviated stress on the bride and groom and gave suppliers someone else to go to should they have any questions. Highly recommend!

Laurel was a godsend. I literally wouldn't have been able to organise my wedding without her, and I'm so sad I don't have an excuse to have calls with her anymore! When I described my vision to her (dry hire venue, pasta buffet, escape room, mini golf, silent disco) instead of saying "I don't think that's possible" (like my previous planner) she said "THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!". She was fully on board at all times, never making me feel demanding or crazy, and instead doing an amazing job of bringing my vision to life. She found a fantastic array of vendors who did what I wanted, and also made it easy for me to say no.
She was super communicative and flexible too - I preferred communicating via WhatsApp, but then she also set up a weekly call which aligned with my husband's schedule, so he could be involved where we wanted too.
On the day everything went off without a hitch. It turns out Laurel had been colluding with my husband behind my back to surprise me, and managed to keep it a secret!
I wholeheartedly recommend Laurel - she will become your favourite person in the world.

Laurel and Tom were our on the day wedding co-ordinators for our blank canvas woodland wedding. Having realised we had maybe taken on a bit too much in the run up to the event Laurel's communication was perfect in helping things come together and mapping how the day would look as well as taking over supplier communication a week before. As we handed over the reigns to them both on the day of the wedding we were truly able to relax and enjoy the day. Nothing was too much including help in getting Button Holes attached and Laurel and Tom oversaw a brilliant day, we couldn't of done it without them!

We hired Laurel for our on-the-day coordination of our wedding in October and she honestly went above and beyond! Laurel was so warm, welcoming, and communicative from the start, and was happy to chat to us or offer advice throughout our whole planning process even though we’d only booked her for on-the-day support! She was brimming with passion and organisation, and was such a calming presence in the lead up and on the day. We were super anxious to hand over the reins of everything we’d organised and trust someone else to make sure it ran smoothly, but Laurel was amazing and on top of everything! Meaning we actually managed to switch off and just be in the moment of the day without worrying about things going to plan. Laurel’s assistant, Meg, was also invaluable and so lovely and enthusiastic, helping with everything. Laurel also helped us problem solve finding a driver for our minibus which saved us so much stress! One of our big anxieties of the day was orchestrating the changeover of two different rooms, but Laurel handled this so smoothly and we didn’t even notice the chaos happening! Honestly can’t recommend Laurel and the whole Nya Rue team enough, they were absolutely lovely and their skills were invaluable!

Laurel ... what can I say about Laurel? …. First of all... What an incredible woman. From the first moment we spoke it was an instant connection. I had probably spoken to about 11 wedding planners before Laurel, but the moment we ended the call, I knew she was absolutely the one.

I have never met anyone more dedicated to her profession whilst at the same time staying so humble and true to herself. She has a unique style of wedding planning and she absolutely ROCKS it.

For any stressed brides, I am not the most responsive replier to my texts (lol) but she never once made me feel like she was 'chasing' me for a response but gently nudged us in an encouraging way. She helped me when I felt overwhelmed and stressed (for me, flowers stressed me out the most haha!), but she handled ALL of the communication and made me feel SO calm.

Laurel was there for us from start to finish… + aftercare! She genuinely has so much love and passion for each and every single one of the weddings she helps to organise and we honestly could not have had the wonderful day that we had without her. She is so professional and completely ‘on it’! She is a wonderful person who has so much patience - she really took the time to get to know us and helped us to transform our day from ideas to reality. The long nights on Pinterest really paid off as her wonderful wedding stylist @Chaos_eclectic absolutely captured everything we could have ever dreamed of.

Laurel's team on the day was efficient, professional, and completely and utterly brilliant. What we thought was a brilliant smooth sailing day -- (apparently had a lot of hiccups!) -- completely went unnoticed as her team dealt with it discreetly and in such an efficient manner.

From the moment we started working with Laurel we knew we’d made the right choice. Her relaxed and friendly demeanour always kept us feeling confident and excited during the lead up for our wedding festival weekend of dreams.
