When we found Laurel, we knew we wanted someone who has an interest in working with unique weddings and having looked at how she's done her own, we felt she could be the one! Although she's got her work cut out for her (our wedding was only 6 months away), she had somehow pieced together all our random ideas, venue requirements (to hold the ceremony, wedding breakfast and party at 3 different places!) and introduced us to Leyla who is the most fabulous stylist.

Although there were stressful moments during the planning which we're sure all couples no doubt will experience, Laurel was a god send and always there to provide reassurance. I particularly struggle to communicate with suppliers as I find the process stressful, so when Laurel took over the comms it was a life saver for all the things that needed to be done and for my mental health of course!

One week after the wedding we're still basking in the after glow and happiness of the big day and in utter disbelief how smooth everything had gone, where everything was exactly how we wanted and how it was planned! Had we tried to do this just on our own, or gone with a more conservative planner, we don't think the day could have been just as we wanted and one that suits our personality.

We decided to have a DIY wedding in a marquee at home, but really didn’t want to be stressing about things on the day so we could fully enjoy ourselves. After reading all the wonderful reviews we decided to book Laurel to come and help us on the day. She was absolutely BRILLIANT, she took over all correspondence with suppliers in the lead up, and dealt with them all on the day. This was worth every single penny, we felt like we were at an official venue not our house, we didn’t have to do anything except party. We can’t recommend Laurel enough, she was so so lovely and professional and if I ever get married again, I’d book her in a heartbeat ;-)

I had a slightly non-traditional wedding, with a micro ceremony on a Friday night and a garden party at home on the Saturday. It was fairly short notice- hired Nya Rue events just before Christmas and the wedding was mid-April- so I am so incredibly glad I hired Laurel to plan the party. Throughout the whole thing she understood my vision and made it happen, on budget, and smooth as anything. The caterers she found me were fantastic, and everything was exactly as I wanted. Level of communication was perfect for me; and completely un-pushy. Laurel would suggest various extras I might like, but if I didn't want them, that was that.

Having worked in corporate events for 10 years, I took on quite a challenge when I started planning my own DIY wedding.

I hired Laurel to coordinate the day, but she took over all supplier comms beforehand - which really meant that I could focus on enjoying the lead up and celebrations of our big day.

Laurel and Tom were an incredible team and they really made our magical day sparkle. Our review is 100% and we mean it and then some. Laurel communicated extremely well with us in the lead up to the wedding and she understood the mission completely. On the day, we simply could not have done it without them. We faced some difficulties in the 24 hours leading up to the day, but their attitude was simply "we will get this done". You can tell that Laurel really loves her job and that she is extremely good at it, because the results speak for themselves. We had a perfect day and that is entirely due to Laurel (and Tom's) planning and delivery.

Laurel is super friendly and easy to talk to. She got us instantly and understood what we wanted from our wedding. We used for on the day management and it was invaluable. She just quietly got things done and went above and beyond helping to clear up. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Laurel was incredible from start to finish. She really took the stress out of the day, and although we only did on the day co-ordination she offered so much more than that and gave an awful lot of her time to our day!
It was great to have someone to offload things to and to be in control, and who we knew would see our vision through and make sure the day didn’t go off course! It was a total relief to have Laurel there overseeing everything, with no question or request being too small.
