When we found Laurel, we knew we wanted someone who has an interest in working with unique weddings and having looked at how she's done her own, we felt she could be the one! Although she's got her work cut out for her (our wedding was only 6 months away), she had somehow pieced together all our random ideas, venue requirements (to hold the ceremony, wedding breakfast and party at 3 different places!) and introduced us to Leyla who is the most fabulous stylist.
Although there were stressful moments during the planning which we're sure all couples no doubt will experience, Laurel was a god send and always there to provide reassurance. I particularly struggle to communicate with suppliers as I find the process stressful, so when Laurel took over the comms it was a life saver for all the things that needed to be done and for my mental health of course!
One week after the wedding we're still basking in the after glow and happiness of the big day and in utter disbelief how smooth everything had gone, where everything was exactly how we wanted and how it was planned! Had we tried to do this just on our own, or gone with a more conservative planner, we don't think the day could have been just as we wanted and one that suits our personality.

Laurel went above and beyond to answer any queries and questions I had. Her service from day one has been nothing but perfect. Her professionalism and knowledge within the industry is outstanding. I left everything in her hands and she created the most magical day. She was there from the start of the day till the end and the high level of effort she put into the day was more than I could have imagined. It's so lovely to deal with Laurel and always quick to respond and reassure you that she will get the job done. She took so much of the pressure off of us for the day and that was priceless. We decided to have a DIY wedding in a marquee at home, but really didn’t want to be stressing about things on the day so we could fully enjoy ourselves. After reading all the wonderful reviews we decided to book Laurel to come and help us on the day. She was absolutely BRILLIANT, she took over all correspondence with suppliers in the lead up, and dealt with them all on the day. This was worth every single penny, we felt like we were at an official venue not our house, we didn’t have to do anything except party. We can’t recommend Laurel enough, she was so so lovely and professional and if I ever get married again, I’d book her in a heartbeat ;-)Nya Rue Events's reply:
