Jen @ Weddings Made in Cornwall was recommended to us by two close friends, and we’d seen her in action at weddings over the last couple of years. Our wedding was very DIY with friends and family mucking in and some potentially complicated logistics in between the ceremony and reception. Our whole experience of booking Jen as our wedding coordinator for our wedding on the Lizard Peninsula was outstanding. Even prior to our wedding day, she was so friendly and considerate with super quick communication and support with any queries we had and was so organised. We felt instantly at ease with such an experienced and talented coordinator who is clearly passionate about what she does. Jen’s coordination of our wedding day, and the set-up and styling of our reception venue the day before was absolutely amazing. She truly made our day perfect in every way and we felt in such safe hands every step of the way. No task was too much trouble and we felt we could completely enjoy our day and relax with no worries or stress as Jen took amazing care of every single aspect and detail. Her organisation and communication with all of our suppliers, ensuring a smooth running order of the day and collaborative working behind the scenes was brilliant. Completely stress free knowing that our wedding was with a passionate planner who wanted everything to be even more perfect than we imagined - in EVERY detail. If you forget to think about something then don't worry you will be guided every step of the way, nothing is too much trouble and the communication updates were just what was needed to know everything is going to plan.

We can't thank our planner, Jen enough for all her hard work. She found the perfect venue, sending videos and meeting us zoom - it must have been stressful planning a wedding for a couple in a different part of the country that wouldn't be there until their wedding! Jen was as excited as we were and on hand at all times to answer any questions. From finding the venue to the finer details such as organising outdoor tent area, makeup, hair, flowers and bringing together the timings of everything so the day ran smoothly - we could not have asked for more! Jen even stayed on hand to help with confetti and photos on the day (we only had 3 guests!).

From our first telephone conversation we knew we’d all get along and Jen was the woman for the job. Professional, efficient, present but unobtrusive she was on top of everything from coordinating and liaising with suppliers, laying the tables on the day & organising everyone in the wedding party, our day went without a hitch. Jen truly was amazing, throughout our whole wedding experience. Jen was so friendly and personable, and at any point I emailed or messaged with a query Jen would get back to me as soon as possible. Jen not only helped up to the lead up to the wedding, but she also helped with ideas and lots of things that we would not of thought of. Jen is a fantastic wedding coordinator, our wedding would not have been the same without her. Jen was incredible in supporting us with our wedding from start to finish. In the weeks leading up to the day, she liaised with suppliers in organising both the oveall plan and all the finer details which meant that on the day we didn't have to worry about anything- we could just enjoy the day completely stress-free. Her communication has always been super quick, friendly and professional and we always felt safe that she was one step ahead! We can't recommend Jen enough- it's so useful to have someone on your side who wants everything to work for you and who has so much experience of how wedding's work best! Jen was our on the day coordinator for our wedding held at my family farm, and she absolutely went above and beyond in every way. From the first video call we had with her we knew we were in safe hands, and every interaction since has been a genuine joy. Jen is solution focussed and nothing ever seemed to phase her which was so great because I was easily stressed during the planning process! Her services she provided were the best investment we made, as it meant we could enjoy the lead up as much as possible. Jen cares so much about all her couples but we just felt so special and like all her energy and focus was on us, which is such a fantastic skill to have when she's as busy as she is!
We absolutely adored working with Jen and are so sad our planning chats/sessions/incessant whatsapps are no more! (I'm sure Jen is glad the midnight messages have stopped haha). Basically WE LOVE JEN

The only way to start this review is to say that Jen was reason that our day was as incredibly special as it was.

From the introductory call at the very beginning of working with Jen to the day itself some 18 months later, every consideration, stage and decision was thought of to the letter by Jen.

We were planning our wedding from London and needed someone with expertise and relationships in the area - Jen has those in spades! Over our time planning, Jen consistently stayed in contact with us over text and video call (and the occasional in person meet when we were in Cornwall!) but we never felt that Jen was over communicating. In fact, every time we spoke to her was a joy and important decisions were made after each communication.

Some Jen highlights include: taking us to our fantastic food tasting at Pencoose Pantry, sourcing a string duo 10 days before the wedding and picking up a bridesmaid after she’d got lost on a walk the day before.

We cannot thank Jen enough and we cannot recommend her enough. She is fantastic at her job, kind, fun and the only person who could have made the day as incredible as it was.

Jen was an absolute professional throughout the entire process. She was always available to answer our questions or provide guidance. She was incredibly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring that every aspect of our wedding day was meticulously planned, which is very important when you are new to it. From coordinating with vendors to managing the timeline, she really gave us peace of mind that our special day was in safe hands. Most importantly she took the time to listen to our ideas and preferences to make our day as we imagined. On the wedding day she arrived early to make sure everything was in-place, which allowed us to enjoy our day stress free. Jens calm and composed demeanour helped alleviate any stress we may have felt.

Super lovely, super organised but also incredibly calm which is what every person wants when organising a wedding! She genuinely LOVES a wedding and it really shows. She made our day, and the organising of it, so easy.

Jen is probably the best wedding coordinator we could of asked for! She was amazing! She was so helpful in the lead up to our wedding and made us feel so much more relaxed and made the planning a lot less stressful. We had the absolute pleasure of having Jen as our day coordinator for our wedding at the end of September and I can honestly say she was worth her weight in gold.
From the very first meeting Jen was just amazing, as an anxious bride with an awful lot going on at that moment in time, her calming and supportive nature made the whole occasion less daunting.
