Nick & Alex were the best team, when we first talked it was obvious Nick would be able to cope with our energy. We busy jobs and although we are competent in project management roles, we really wanted a planner that would really take the stress out of the whole process ~ JAW smashed the brief!!!

We had a WhatsApp group for all communications and they always responded quickly (even if we said it could wait) and were always ready and willing to help us out.

They helped us round up all of the vendors we needed, it was never a pressure or hard sell to pick a JAW partner, we had visions for certain aspects and Nick & Alex found exactly what we needed. They gently nudged us when we needed to make decisions and guided us in the entire timeline and process.

On the wedding day, they were just great, always smiling, they got stuck in with making sure the details were just right, helping the venue out with final touches, doing a walk through with the groom party to check it was all just so. Nick even made sure my Dad who is a wheelchair user had a cup of coffee whilst he waited for everybody to arrive and assemble. We felt completely at ease and they totally made us feel calm and confident that everything was in hand - we had lots of down time together and ran on time the entire day!!

Beforehand, we said 'just put a glass of champagne in our hands and tell us where we need to be' ... they did exactly that! there was food and drink in front of us at all times and every single wish on our list was ticked off.

Nick was our MC and he kept the vibe lively, he matched our guests energy at all times, not an easy task - there were lots of them and we all had energy :-D He also said grace (just the way Nan would want) for us before we ate which was a lovely touching moment and bought lots of tears from my family.

There is nobody else we would have wanted to be our planners, they made every single second a pleasure and the whole experience was enjoyable. We truly had the most perfect day. These two have a special place in our hearts and we can not recommend them highly enough.

From the moment we met Nick and Alex, we knew they would be great to work with. From the very beginning, their knowledge and professionalism was evident and it helped us so much. Planning a wedding is a huge job and these guys made it so simple for us. They guided us along every step, offered honest advice (without trying to get more money off us!) and were so responsive. They helped us coordinate everything and their entire team were excellent. They are also great value for money and excellent at keeping you within your budget. Honestly, the day wouldn’t have been the same without everything they did for us. Would massively recommend!

I was the celebrant for a recent wedding planned and coordinated by Just about Weddings and they were a dream to work with from start to finish.

They set up a call with me and the couple and then supported with any questions from there on in. On the day, Ali was super helpful, diligent and friendly.

Overall, we had a mixed experience working with JAW. There were definitely positives throughout the planning process. Alex was always attentive, professional and a pleasure to deal with, and many of our guests commented on how good he was during the wedding weekend. Nick was helpful with contractual negotiations, especially when the venue challenged our ability to import certain items, as he was quick to remind them of their contractual obligations.

JAW also introduced us to some good suppliers, including the catering, DJ and saxophonist. We also appreciated the flexibility they offered with payments, allowing us to secure suppliers early and pay JAW back over time, which really helped us manage our budget.

Unfortunately, there were several areas where we felt the planning process fell short. At times, it felt as though they were managing too many clients, as we often had to follow up on outstanding actions ourselves and resend information that had already been shared. This left us feeling like we were managing parts of the process rather than being guided through it. There were also a number of attention-to-detail issues, including repeatedly forgetting our wedding date, forgetting that JAW themselves were officiating the ceremony, missing napkins, seating us facing away from our guests during dinner, and not playing the reception playlist we had provided.

We also found that the planning timeline wasn't as proactive as we had expected. We repeatedly asked to begin organising certain aspects around nine months before the wedding but were told that it was too early according to their process. As a result, many key decisions, supplier negotiations and budget discussions were left until much later than we were comfortable with. This ultimately led to several unexpected costs close to the wedding and a substantial payment to the venue just a week beforehand. We had always anticipated spending that amount if necessary, but having clear visibility much earlier would have made the experience far less stressful.

During the final two weeks before the wedding, when we felt we needed the most support, there were periods where we were left to resolve important issues with the venue ourselves, particularly around alcohol arrangements. This also contributed to confusion around invoicing because JAW weren't involved in those conversations. In hindsight, we also felt that not fully following the venue's planning process led to unnecessary last-minute negotiations and tension with the venue team that could likely have been avoided.

Overall, JAW helped us create a wonderful wedding day with some great suppliers. However, the planning journey was significantly more stressful than we expected due to communication, organisation and planning issues. For couples who are looking for a planner to take work off their shoulders and proactively manage every detail, it's worth discussing expectations around timelines, communication and budget management from the outset.

We truly cannot thank our wedding coordination team enough for making our special day absolutely perfect. From our very first conversation to the final moments of the wedding, their professionalism, organization, and calm energy kept us completely at ease.
They took all the stress off our shoulders, seamlessly managing the timeline and coordinating with all of our other suppliers behind the scenes. Because of their incredible hard work, we were able to completely relax and just enjoy every single moment of our day with our guests, knowing we were in the safest possible hands.

Everyone says that wedding planning is supposed to be one of the most stressful experiences of your life. We are a pretty highly strung couple and so fully expected to be very stressed by the process. Nick, Alex and the Just About Weddings team took all that stress away and made it an enjoyable, smooth and most importantly exciting process!

It was incredible value for money, and of all the different costs associated with getting married, Just About Weddings was by far the best money we spent!

We got married in Italy (we're based in the UK) and having them coordinate vendors, the day itself, and just be a sounding board and advisors for our thoughts and ideas was invaluable. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Nick and Alex were wonderful - working tirelessly behind the scenes, handling communication with our venue and vendors, and bringing a lot of experience into organising a fabulous day. They were always available for Zooms and calls.

Nick and Alex did an amazing job throughout the 15 months planning our wedding with them. Despite us planning our wedding whilst living in China and choosing to get married in Thailand (the first JAW Thailand wedding!) we couldn’t have asked for more. They worked tirelessly to find us options for our perfect venue and eliminated so much stress by communicating with the venue to ensure everything was perfect.
We had countless zoom calls that were never rushed and they were able to guide us on things that we were uncertain of e.g. the legal side / signing documents.
Nick and Alex were always available to respond to our messages despite the time difference and make the process as stress free and fun as possible. This included the budget, as we were always kept up to date with how much was spent where.
Nick was also our celebrant on the day and he planned and delivered the day so smoothly ensuring everyone was in the right place at the right time. He also delivered the most personal and intimate ceremony, due to the effort he had put in to get to know us both on a personal level throughout the planning process.
We also used the JAW videography to capture our day and have received incredible footage including the speeches, the ceremony and a feature film of the whole day.
We believe wherever in the world we had have chosen to get married that we would have had the same experience and appreciate everything both Nick and Alex did for us and would highly recommend them!

After nearly 2 years of attempting to plan a wedding ourselves, we felt lost and unsure what to do. Then we came across Nick and Alex and thought we'd reach out and see how things worked. Immediately we felt at ease and taken cared for. Early consultations were great to really visualise what we wanted for our big day, and then immediately bookings took place. Their payment plan made our lives so much easier and we're so incredibly grateful that they offer it. We booked with the whole Just About suite and couldn't have been happier. We went to view the venue multiple times, never being an issue for either of them. When we wanted to discuss budgets and adjust plans there was never a problem with it, and any question we had was answered. Leading up to the wedding plans were all going ahead and meetings were arranged with all the vendors, making us feel secure that the day was going to go smoothly.
On the day, we couldn't have asked for more!
