Nick & Alex were the best team, when we first talked it was obvious Nick would be able to cope with our energy. We busy jobs and although we are competent in project management roles, we really wanted a planner that would really take the stress out of the whole process ~ JAW smashed the brief!!!

We had a WhatsApp group for all communications and they always responded quickly (even if we said it could wait) and were always ready and willing to help us out.

They helped us round up all of the vendors we needed, it was never a pressure or hard sell to pick a JAW partner, we had visions for certain aspects and Nick & Alex found exactly what we needed. They gently nudged us when we needed to make decisions and guided us in the entire timeline and process.

On the wedding day, they were just great, always smiling, they got stuck in with making sure the details were just right, helping the venue out with final touches, doing a walk through with the groom party to check it was all just so. Nick even made sure my Dad who is a wheelchair user had a cup of coffee whilst he waited for everybody to arrive and assemble. We felt completely at ease and they totally made us feel calm and confident that everything was in hand - we had lots of down time together and ran on time the entire day!!

Beforehand, we said 'just put a glass of champagne in our hands and tell us where we need to be' ... they did exactly that! there was food and drink in front of us at all times and every single wish on our list was ticked off.

Nick was our MC and he kept the vibe lively, he matched our guests energy at all times, not an easy task - there were lots of them and we all had energy :-D He also said grace (just the way Nan would want) for us before we ate which was a lovely touching moment and bought lots of tears from my family.

There is nobody else we would have wanted to be our planners, they made every single second a pleasure and the whole experience was enjoyable. We truly had the most perfect day. These two have a special place in our hearts and we can not recommend them highly enough.

What can I say about Nick and Alex. Unbelievable from start to finish with the service they provided.

When we were in much need of help and assistance after having our 9 month old baby Nick and Alex took the stress out of everything and gave us our dream wedding.

Dan supported us during our wedding day and he was a very calming presence. A smiley, reliable person who was a pleasure to rely on during our wedding day.

After nearly 2 years of attempting to plan a wedding ourselves, we felt lost and unsure what to do. Then we came across Nick and Alex and thought we'd reach out and see how things worked. Immediately we felt at ease and taken cared for. Early consultations were great to really visualise what we wanted for our big day, and then immediately bookings took place. Their payment plan made our lives so much easier and we're so incredibly grateful that they offer it. We booked with the whole Just About suite and couldn't have been happier. We went to view the venue multiple times, never being an issue for either of them. When we wanted to discuss budgets and adjust plans there was never a problem with it, and any question we had was answered. Leading up to the wedding plans were all going ahead and meetings were arranged with all the vendors, making us feel secure that the day was going to go smoothly.
On the day, we couldn't have asked for more! Despite a little confusion on cleardown of certain areas of the venue, Nick and Alex were brilliant throughout making the day a complete success for us and our guests. We have no doubt that without them it would have been a chaotic scramble and mess. We can't thank you both enough for all your help over the last 15 months, and we're so grateful to you and the whole JAW family. Thank you so much!

Nick was absolutely brilliant at keeping everything running smoothly. Thanks to his calm, professional approach, we had nothing to stress about and could just enjoy the day. Having him there gave us complete peace of mind.

Take this with a pinch of salt for two reasons: 1) neither of us have been married before and so some of what I'm saying will be doing to stuff we didn't anticipate having to communicate, and 2) for all we know, it's one of those situations where a lot was being done behind the scenes to keep things steady on the supplier front that we didn't know about. I would like to think at least the latter is true - I really hate leaving negative reviews.

However.

From the first proper call a few weeks out, we started to feel a little uncertain. Nick's 'bedside manner' shall we say was a tad grating - we constantly felt like he was putting us down, and there was an edge to his humour that came across as slightly misogynistic ('I can tell the bride did this' etc). But we figured personality differences weren't important so long as he did his job well.

Nick had us do multiple iterations on a five-minute-by-five-minute schedule of the day - not an issue. However, a lot of the details he insisted upon confused us after the fact; for example, he wanted us to include the order the bridesmaids would walk down the aisle, but then never turned up to the ceremony to oversee it. He also didn't introduce himself when he arrived and left earlier than he said. Things that were on the schedule got missed, as well as things that should have been on the schedule but weren't. I lost a large part of my getting-ready time to organising suppliers and bridesmaids. By the end of the day, I felt like he might as well not have been there, and others in the wedding party were similarly confounded by what he had actually contributed.

Sorry to leave a negative review, but we feel like we wasted £750.

Nick and Alex made our wedding perfect. Throughout the whole process they were extremely responsive, helpful with suggestions, and took care of every detail.

On the day itself, we were able to just relax and enjoy ourselves without worrying about a single thing. We were coordinating 100 guests arriving from all corners of the planet—flawless execution and zero stress for us speaks very highly to Nick and Alex's skills.

I would highly recommend booking them for any size of wedding, and definitely book them for on-the-day coordination too. They're incredible value and wonderful people.

They took care of everything. Even on the day everything was sorted. They are so great that I was really relax that even the photographer asked us what’s the secret 😂 we literally couldn’t have done it without them both. I even saved Nick in my phone as “My Fairy Godfather”. Everyone should look no further. Venue, photographer, hair & makeup, invitations, on the day stationary. The list is endless they cover everything all within your personal budget.
PS….. Nick does dress alterations and has his own seamstress.

And even more amazing people. Nick and Alex were frequently available to jump into meetings to sort any worries we were having, and they did a great job of gently guiding us through the wedding process, helping us with all the things that me and my wife didn't even know we needed to do!

We barely had to lift a finger, making the whole thing completely stress free for us. They kept us up to date with how things were being arranged, and two weeks before the wedding everything was ready so we could completely relax. Them being there on the wedding day to keep everything running smoothly was the cherry on top - they did all the running around, so we could spend more time with our guests.

The monthly plan option they provided was perfect for our needs: instead of paying as invoices are required, we paid a constant monthly value based on our total wedding budget, which made it so much more stable for us, financially.

We couldn't have asked for better wedding planners.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Nick and Alex as our wedding planner. From start to finish, I was impressed with their professionalism, honesty, and dedication.

As we were planning our wedding from the U.S. for 77 guests in the U.K., everything had to be coordinated remotely. Nick and Alex made the process seamless. All of our planning was done over Zoom, and they were very accommodating—often meeting with us at odd hours to account for the time difference. Their flexibility and responsiveness made a world of difference.

Nick was direct and efficient throughout the planning process. His no-nonsense approach was exactly what we needed—he tells you clearly what will and won’t work, which helped eliminate a lot of unnecessary stress and indecision. He brought forward creative ideas and practical solutions while always keeping our vision and budget in mind.

On the day of the wedding, Nick went above and beyond. When we realized the night before that we wanted a confetti moment captured in photos, he made it happen—personally going out the morning of the wedding to track down confetti poppers. I didn’t even know the effort Nick went through to find them; they simply appeared when needed. That kind of behind-the-scenes effort is exactly what sets Nick apart.

He truly puts his clients first. Whether it was solving problems, giving expert advice, or even driving guests in his own car to avoid overloading the shuttle, Nick was always ready to help. His vendor team—florist, caterers, stylists, photographers, stationery designers—were excellent, and I loved that I didn’t have to do any vendor research myself. Nick handled it all, and every choice was spot-on.

And most importantly: his pricing is unbeatable. Before finding Nick, I spoke with several other planners who told me my vision wasn’t possible with my budget. Their planning fees alone would have taken up the majority of my funds. Nick made my day not only possible, but beautiful. He brought my husband and I’s dream wedding to life, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

They were absolutely incredible, like having extra family members with cameras. They made us feel completely at ease, blending in so naturally with our guests while still capturing every important moment. It never felt forced or staged, just genuine and full of love. We could tell they truly cared about the day as much as we did, and we’re so excited to see the magic they captured.

Evening DJ:
Our DJ was fantastic and brought the party to life the moment the reception started! The music was exactly what we hoped for, fun, high-energy, and perfect for keeping everyone on the dance floor. He handled transitions, announcements, and the vibe of the night so smoothly. The evening flowed perfectly and ended on the highest note possible thanks to him.

Both teams went above and beyond. They were professional, easy to work with, and genuinely made the day feel unforgettable. We feel so lucky to have had them be part of it.

Dan from Just About Weddings was a huge help in making sure our wedding day went as smoothly as it did! My wife and I had a dry-hire venue, and put together the entire wedding ourselves (... it was all her doing lol), but on the morning of, it was my duty to make sure everything and everyone were where they were meant to be. Without Dan on hand to help, none of that would've been possible. He's a lovely guy, and I would definitely recommend him and Just About Weddings for on-the-day coordination.

From our first initial call with Nick, I knew I made the right choice about booking him and his team for our wedding. We only booked “on the day coordinator” as we wanted to do the planning ourselves but I feel like Nick and Dan went above and beyond just your normal “on the day” as they worked with us weeks prior to the wedding.
They helped us plan our wedding timeline so accurately and so perfect that on the day everyone was on time and our other suppliers couldn’t believe how on time and precise we were as this was due to Nick and Dan helping us with the timeline in the lead up and making sure everyone knew their job for the day.
Due to weather conditions, we weren’t able to prepare a lot of things the night before so the morning of the wedding was extra busy with jobs to do and the amazing Dan was beyond helpful and rushed around the whole morning in the humidity and rain spells helping make the ceremony exactly how we visioned. We gave him a huge list of tasks and he executed them perfectly without question which I dont think is in his job description but he didn’t complain once. We couldn’t have got the morning prepped without his work.
I couldn’t recommend these guys enough as the wedding went so smoothly and I genuinely think it was because of their planning, help and on the day coordination of every detail down to Dan filling my water bottle for me as it was a hot hot day!

We had the pleasure of stumbling across Nick & Alex (Just About Weddings) on Hitched after having a very quick realisation that choosing a dry hire venue was going to be a huge task. I remember enquiry on their website and said something along the lines of if they could contact me at their earliest convenience - 15 minutes later on the Sunday evening I got a call from Nick!

From there, Nick and Alex have just been fantastic from the onset. Their organisation will fab, they were always available as and when we needed them, the advice that they gave and provided throughout was hugely helpful, and they would always give their thoughts and opinions in the most respectful way, knowing us Brides can go a little crazy!

We had Nick & Alex help us throughout the build up, but we also had them for on-the-day coordination, which was absolutely worth every single penny, and more! They took away any stress we had, both for the build up, but most importantly for the big day. Our wedding day was so many things we could’ve hoped for, but Nick & Alex helped tremendously in making sure we were not only present on our day, but we were there to really enjoy it.
