Nick & Alex were the best team, when we first talked it was obvious Nick would be able to cope with our energy. We busy jobs and although we are competent in project management roles, we really wanted a planner that would really take the stress out of the whole process ~ JAW smashed the brief!!!

We had a WhatsApp group for all communications and they always responded quickly (even if we said it could wait) and were always ready and willing to help us out.

They helped us round up all of the vendors we needed, it was never a pressure or hard sell to pick a JAW partner, we had visions for certain aspects and Nick & Alex found exactly what we needed. They gently nudged us when we needed to make decisions and guided us in the entire timeline and process.

On the wedding day, they were just great, always smiling, they got stuck in with making sure the details were just right, helping the venue out with final touches, doing a walk through with the groom party to check it was all just so. Nick even made sure my Dad who is a wheelchair user had a cup of coffee whilst he waited for everybody to arrive and assemble. We felt completely at ease and they totally made us feel calm and confident that everything was in hand - we had lots of down time together and ran on time the entire day!!

Beforehand, we said 'just put a glass of champagne in our hands and tell us where we need to be' ... they did exactly that! there was food and drink in front of us at all times and every single wish on our list was ticked off.

Nick was our MC and he kept the vibe lively, he matched our guests energy at all times, not an easy task - there were lots of them and we all had energy :-D He also said grace (just the way Nan would want) for us before we ate which was a lovely touching moment and bought lots of tears from my family.

There is nobody else we would have wanted to be our planners, they made every single second a pleasure and the whole experience was enjoyable. We truly had the most perfect day. These two have a special place in our hearts and we can not recommend them highly enough.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Nick, Alex and the team at Just About Weddings enough! From the very beginning, they were absolutely incredible and helped make our dream Greek wedding come true on the gorgeous island of Ios. It was everything we could have wished for and more!
Planning a wedding abroad felt very overwhelming at times, but Nick and Alex made the whole experience so much easier and enjoyable. They were always so responsive on our group chat, happy to answer any questions and there to reassure us whenever we had any worries or anxieties. They knew exactly when to tell us not to panic or worry and made us feel completely at ease, knowing everything was in the best hands.
What made them even more amazing was that they didn’t just organise and run our wedding day; they helped plan every aspect of the whole week! They even created a group chat for all our guests and helped coordinate everything, which made the entire experience so seamless for us and everyone who came to celebrate with us.
Having Nick as our celebrant was another huge bonus. It took away so much of the worry, and having someone we already trusted play such an important role in our ceremony made it even more special.
The photographer and videographer they brought along, Nick and FeFe were also absolutely lovely. They were so friendly, approachable and open to our ideas, really listening to what we wanted and helping us capture the day in a way that felt personal to us.
Nick and Alex went above and beyond in every possible way. They weren’t just our wedding planners; they were our support system throughout the whole journey, and we genuinely couldn’t imagine having done it without them. They allowed us to relax, enjoy every moment and make memories that we will cherish forever.

We used just about weddings for almost all of the vendors for our big day recently and what can I say but wow…

From the off Nick and the team have been amazing, guiding us through everything and never stopping until we were happy with every detail even going so far to move our official meetings forward so we could have some early peace of mind.

On the day itself it just got better

From the moment the team arrived for hair and makeup we knew the day was going to be made easy.

Arianne from hair and makeup was amazing and even let us know she had been called up last minute due to some illness, despite this she was spot on with everything and made the bride and bridesmaids mornings go smoothly.

Next came photo and film, FeeFee and Nick where incredible
Their humour and banter kept us laughing and relaxed all day and the way they led from one shot to the next was so seamless.
They were great at giving simple directions to make sure we new exactly what was happening next and we can’t thank them enough.

And lastly the flowers. My god were the good, from the second my button hole was pinned on I knew that the brides bouquet was going to be a stunner,
And I still can’t get over seeing the flowers on the tables for the first time. It blew me away how well the team took a simple list of colours and flower types and turned it into over 20 masterpieces.

To round off. We can’t thank the team enough for everything and highly recommend just about wedding to anyone looking for a quality, professional and highly value for money team with complete transparency on pricing, services and capabilities.

When we got engaged, we thought we could do everything ourselves! When we VERY quickly realised we couldn’t, we spoke to a few planners but there was always something missing. Finally, we spoke to Nick… what a revelation this man was! From the very first conversation we had, Nick was thorough, asked questions we hadn’t even thought of yet, explained in detail what services he could offer us and most importantly reinforced that the wedding was our day and he was just there to facilitate and make sure that EVERYTHING went smoothly. Throughout the planning phase he kept in contact, nudged us when we forgot certain things, did a lot without us having to ask him and was just generally awesome. And then he introduced us to Alex who is also a part of the team at Just About Weddings. What had already been a 5 star service suddenly became way more than we had asked for. One of either Alex or Nick were always available to answer any questions, their communication, thoughtfulness, consideration, problem solving & vendor management was superb. Any problem we encountered (like our bar company dropping out last minute) was resolved without fuss! We cannot remember a single occasion where we felt alone/lost/clueless because they ALWAYS had solutions. On the actual day of the wedding, we were introduced to Allie and OMG…. They had saved the best part of Just About Weddings for the big day! This lady was attentive, patient, EFFICIENT & nothing seemed to knock her off her stride. We honestly cannot speak highly enough of this company. All of these things are without me mentioning how the whole team are genuinely wonderful people!

You honestly get everything! Value for money, honest hard working individuals, great advice, problem solving, GREAT HUMOUR and 6 star service!

Nick and Alex were amazing. We were arranging a wedding in London from the US and they were so helpful, responsive, and professional. They found a venue that was terrific and handled everything resulting in a reception that was so much fun, the guests kept telling me the next day how great it was.

I could not have had a better coordinator than Ali. She was fun, checked in on us both in the morning, she was organised, she looked after my elderly relations, mucked in, moved up timings to respond to the day (checking with us first, of course), and people assumed she was a friend too. I cannot rate her highly enough - everyone needs Ali as their coordinator! Also, my now husband was really unconvinced that a coordinator was needed and after the day was over he said she was the best hire we had made!

Working with the Just About Weddings team was the best decision we made for our wedding. From the start, they were incredibly responsive and guided us through countless logistical details that never would have crossed our minds. Their creative insight and practical suggestions brought our celebration at the Cherwell Boathouse together beautifully. I have had the pleasure to work with nick and Alex for a wedding my property in tuscsny. Throughout the process I can confirm he handled all the communication between us and the couple getting married professionally. He was more than available to the extend he flew over to tuscsny more than once to confirm all went according to plan. During the course of discussion , after agreement , during wedding nick behaved as this was his own wedding. He had a the interest of the couple above. And dealing with many wedding planner this is the first time I wrote a review because I just had to appreciate the hard work when I see one.

Nick and Alex were the wedding planners for my sisters wedding in Ios, Greece. They were absolutely phenomenal from start to finish and I could not recommend them more. They made my sisters and brother in laws dream wedding a reality and it was incredible! From the get go Just About Weddings were in regular and easy communication with us. They asked us what sort of help we wanted from wedding planners, and then tailored their service to provide exactly that.
