Gregg was brilliant to work with and calmed everyone down with all the madness around. He also helped when the children and i were getting ready. Everyone has been saying the photographs are great – Gregg was more then a photographer on our day. Dont think we will ever get bored of looking at the pictures. Thank you Gregg

We were thrilled with our photos of the day, Greg captured our intimate wedding beautifully. We felt he connected with everyone and made an effort to engage with the guests, especially loved our outdoor shots taken within a short window before the rain set in. Prior to the weddings Greg kept in touch and took the time to get to know us and the venue before the big day. The cost was lower than most wedding photographers but his eye for a good photo and the personal touches were definitely up there with more expensive packages.

I was originally getting married April 2019 and had a photographer in mind but then the Pandemic came along and threw a spanner in the works and the wedding was postponed.
I then contacted Greg after seeing his work on Instagram and fell in love with his style. After speaking on the phone and getting on so well, we booked him for our new wedding date in April 2021 - but Covid had other plans and we had to postpone again!
Greg and I kept in regular contact from October 2020 and I never worried that he would let us down. We don't live anywhere near each other so contact was Zoom, email and whatsapp but we really got on and I knew we were on the same page about the style of photos I wanted for the wedding.
When it came to the day and we met face to face, it wasn't awkward and he fit right into the day like we had all known him for years. Greg is funny and down to earth and everyone said how lovely he was. He made my guests feel at ease and was able to capture the best pictures as it was relaxed and not forced. My husband and I (still feels funny to say that!) were over the moon with the finished photos and we wish we could do it all again. Would absolutely use Greg of Thompson Photography again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!

We had the half a day package as our wedding wasn't until 4.00 pm. Gregg was great, professional and he helped make the day run smoothly. we had some great photos.

When my now husband came over to me and said "I've booked the guy over there to do our wedding photos" pointing to a man stood with nothing more than a camera, laptop and usb display box, I was a little shocked and worried but my gosh did I underestimate the power of minimalism! Greg and his camera are works of art alone. Greg not only made us feel relaxed from the word go but the photos he develops are outstanding! With phone calls texts and emails prior to meeting he made me and my husband feel at ease about the details of how Greg would operate during the day.
