We booked Robert Carter for our wedding in sept 2025 and we were delighted when Robert agreed to travel to Northumberland to capture our day. We booked over 2 years in advance and since booking to after care Robert has been fantastic. We had a pre wedding shoot a couple of weeks before the wedding which helped us on the big day itself. Robert is very friendly and really put us at ease through the day. His professionalism shone through at all times. Our photos are absolutely stunning and we cant wait to see our album in due course. Highly recommend.

Rob was a professional from the get go, as was the 2nd photographer Dave. From the first meeting to on the day, Rob was great at keeping us in the loop & making everything run smoothly. A true professional (we only met Dave on the day but he was friendly, chatty & helped to ease our nerves with humour). We haven't seen all the photos yet, just a sneak peak but from what we've seen so far they look absolutely beautiful. We can't wait to see the rest!

I had said all along as one of the first things after the venue i wanted to book an amazing photographer straight away, as when you plan such a stunning day your going to want to capture every moment to look back on for years to come.
I can truly say from the minute i saw roberts portfolio i was blown away.
I am a trained photographer myself and Robert showed his skill at capturing the perfect in the moment shot that looks so natural and perfect from the moment we had the trial shoot with him.
For anyone whos worried they dont want to be caught pulling a face ir thinks they dont look natural or pretty on camera and is worried for their wedding day. We cannot even begin to express how amazing Rob was on our wedding day. His experience and professionalism had us completely at ease throughout the day and his photos of the day are outstanding. We had a pre wedding photo shoot with him, which I would definitely recommend, as it helps you get comfortable with the camera and the pre wedding photos build up some excitement for the day. He also emailed us tips for the day and articles for wedding planning that really helped us out through the wedding planning process, which we thought was very thoughtful.

Another brilliant part of the package we chose was a sneak peak slide show of the day that was displayed at the reception. Everyone commented on how great it was to be able to see the photos on the day. Also, the final photos were ready for as as soon as we were back from honeymoon, so we didn't have to wait months!

After having to delay our wedding due to covid we were left without a photographer due to unforeseen circumstances. We were shopping around and came across Rob. We loved his style of photography and I wasn’t a fan of over staged photos. I prefer natural and capturing the moment. We had a pre shoot with Rob he instantly put us at ease, got to know us and took onboard what we wanted.

On the day Rob worked so well with my other suppliers and even taking suggestions from my hair stylist who told us her personal regrets of photos she didn’t get.
He was great with winding my mum up as she didn’t like unstaged photos. They are some of my favourites but not suitable to put on here.
We were blessed with beautiful weather and Rob was able to capture some drone shots.
He even stayed over his allotted time so my husband could get the night time shots he wanted.
Couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

Rob was amazing from start to finish, very professional but we also felt like we knew him as a friend too by the end of our day. He catered to me and my husbands taste, as we didn't want the traditional poses, just natural and having a laugh. He had amazing ideas for photos too, some of which turned out just perfect!! There would be a few things I'd change about our wedding day looking back, but not our photographer, Rob was just fantastic!! I still recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Rob Carter, I don't know where to start! This is a huge review but I feel like I need to show how amazing you are (but it still won't portray how amazing you are).

If you are looking for a reliable and professional photographer for your wedding day- Robert is worth every single penny! Prior to the day we had an engagement shoot to get to know each other, discuss the day and get the kids familiar with what will be expected on the day. Robert was professional and took some beauiful shots. From the minute we met Rob we felt relaxed and knew he was the photographer for us.

Leading up to the wedding Robert was happy to look through timelines and photo inspirations and provide his expert opinion when asked. He responds to messages efficiently and professionally and never gave us any reason to doubt him. Infact, he was the ONLY supplier to not change any plans last minute, but he adapted to everyone else's changes so well!

On the day of the wedding Robert was much earlier than expected, roaming the venue and taking photographs of every detail, he hadn't been to the venue before and wanted to make sure he knew it. For the preparation photos Rob brought his own props for absolutely fantastic ring/ring boxes/shoe shots. We had such a laugh in the bridal room beforehand, the humour was needed for the nerves!

Robert stayed on track throughout, he reminded me of the shots I wanted to make sure I got them and he was very flexible when I kept rushing off to the toilet! This man spent his day picking leaves off my dress, laying my dress train out beautifully and even giving me his tip advice for going to the toilet in the dress. Our boys are so camera shy and were playing up a bit, Rob brought the drone out which wasn't even part of our package!

For the evening do, we walked in to a TV set up on the stage displaying a preview of our day-the photos were perfect! This is the highlight for us-they the photos were stunning. He has caught so much genuine emotion in really natural shots and the posed shots are stunning (we are not photogenic at all BTW). He gives the direction we needed, he is respectful-he caught the unexpected on camera.

Honestly there is so much I could say about this man that I've probably missed so many points. Every single guest complimented how amazing Robert was-I am so grateful for your services. Make sure you allocate budget to an amazing photographer, because the day flies by and these are the only things you have left❤️. Thank you from all of us!
