David is a fantastic celebrant! We couldn’t recommend him more highly. From the beginning David was warm, professional and listened to what we wanted. He got to know us and made our wedding ceremony very fun and personal. Many of our guests came up to us and said how much they enjoyed the ceremony and our wedding pianist (who we hired separately) said David was the best celebrant he had ever seen (and he’s seen a lot!). David also went the extra mile on the day to help organise guests and make sure everyone knew what they were doing e.g. the best man, ring bearer and our friend who did a reading. Book David for your special day, you wont regret it!

We honestly don’t have enough words to thank Ellen at Love and Soul Celebrant for everything she did for us — but we’ll try! From the moment we first approached her, she was warm, welcoming, and completely put us at ease. She didn’t just “do the ceremony” — she became such a big part of our journey. Ellen supported us through all sorts of ups and downs in the lead-up to the big day, and somehow always knew just what to say. She helped us craft vows that felt truly personal (and made us both cry and laugh while doing it), and she delivered a ceremony that was heartfelt, funny, emotional, and so full of us. From the moment we sat down and had a chat with Paula, we knew she was the perfect person to officiate our wedding. She was absolutely incredible from start to finish, taking the time to get to know both of us and creating a wedding ceremony that was truly personal and unique. All of our guests commented on how it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended and me and my partner loved every second of it. From start to finish she put us both at ease, explained the whole process and the difference between a Humanist ceremony and the 'traditional' Registrar ceremony. Before our ceremony all our family and friends questioned what the difference was and why we didn't just do it the normal way, afterwards every single guest said how beautiful the ceremony was, filled with love and emotion and 100% unique to us. Will's grandparents even said it was the best wedding they had EVER been to. In the beginning Meg met with us for an initial chat to explain the process and as well as a 'getting to know us' meeting. After that we had a task to answer some more questions during a 'date night'. We loved the date night ideas, it really helped get us in the right frame of mind to answer all the questions Meg had for us and to think about our vows/ readings and what we wanted the ceremony to be like. Something they don't tell you about wedding planning is it can be rather stressful and things can get tense so having a moment to reflect together on why you are doing this in the first place is nice. Meg was also really great at reminding Will to find a reading and offered support in case he was struggling - we decided to keep it a surprise from each other. We might have had to do the 'legal' bit (a.k.a paperwork) separately to our ceremony but I actually preferred it this way, we could make our ceremony 100% us, as soppy or funny as we liked and no one to tell us we 'must' say something in particular. On the day she really helped to calm Wills nerves, which in turn gave me peace of mind, I was of course very late and she even popped up to see me to make sure everything was ok. Our day was perfect and was made 1000% times better by Meg, to us our ceremony and commitment to each other was the most important part of our wedding and she absolutely nailed our wedding script. All I can say is if you want an amazing out of this world ceremony that is 100% about you as a couple with someone cool, funny and confident then chat to Meg. Thank you Megan!!
