I think that what says the most about Emily and her work is that our testimonial is mainly about her as a person and what she brought to our wedding day. The photos we have had back so far are stunning and we cannot wait for the rest. However, for us, the energy she brought to the day and the two years leading up to the wedding made it even more special. On our first meeting with Emily, she made us feel connected and listened to and this carried on to the planning meetings and drinks in Cambridge and then onto the day itself.

On the day, her and her second shooter Chloe (who was also amazing) made everyone feel at ease. There was never a worry regarding conversation as Emily can truly speak to anyone. This made us all feel so comfortable in the nervous parts of the morning. Throughout the day, she was there but never imposing and always allowed us to go at our own pace with the focus always staying on enjoying the happiest day of our lives. It felt like having a friend as your photographer and when the time came, she came for a boogie too which really solidified that feeling.

Who we chose to have as our photographer for our wedding day was such an important decision and we could not have made a better one. Everyone who was there on the day has spoken to us about how wonderful she was and how involved she was and people have already been asking for her contact details. Not to mention the little touches, like sharing fun ideas to try or planning video messages for us from our guests as a surprise.

Emily’s work is as amazing as she is as a person and we are so thankful that she was there on our special day. We look forward to staying in touch, attending future paint and sip events as well as admiring your empowerment photoshoots and workshops.

Emily was kind enough to photograph my wedding at the last minute. From start to finish, Emily conducted herself with great professionalism and enthusiasm. Not only did she get perfect photos of my big day but she also went above and beyond by helping me get into my dress, getting me drinks while I was getting ready, and keeping me calm on the morning. She got some lovely candid photos of my guests arriving and then got brilliant group shots. She was running all over the place trying to get the best photos for us - and it worked. I could not be more delighted with the photos we received. It took about a month for my photos to be ready but you can't rush perfection. From showing my photos to loved ones, everyone is just so overjoyed with what we got. Getting all the photos electronically was also a huge bonus. From before the wedding to today, Emily has been really helpful and responsive on messages with my annoying questions. I can't stress enough - my day would not have been the same without her, I cannot thank her enough, and I'm so grateful to her for stepping in at the last hour and saving the day!
