Katie Amanda Photography is a wedding photography service based in Oxford, Oxfordshire.
My love of photography and people and my aim to bring out the unique feelings of an occasion are the creative springs of my work. A wedding always gives me a particular thrill of excitement. Each one is unique.
As a wedding photographer, my deep desire is to create a sense of the distinctively individual event that a wedding is, to be enjoyed as a precious memory forever. My fulfilment comes from giving people what they are looking for in their pictorial record of the day.
I want to capture the spontaneity of so many moments of the day and a real sense of the day. The loveliness of the Bride. The appeal of the Groom. Their togetherness. The playfulness and prettiness of the Bridesmaids. The sparkle of the family and friends gathered together. The joy, fun, and celebration filling everyone's hearts on the day give a wonderful visual memory for the future.
This can only be achieved by a highly committed approach both in terms of careful preparation and close and sustained attention on the day itself. Meeting the Bride and Groom well before the wedding is a key part of my wedding photography, including:
- Getting to know them a little.
- Finding out what each of them has in mind for the photographs.
- The things they find special, establishing a rapport, and developing a feeling for everything involved in their day.

Absolutely recommend!
Was an absolute joy having Katie do the photos for our wedding and engagement shoot. She made it such a fun experience filled with laughs, and the bridal party really appreciated how she added a personal touch by learning everyone’s names! We’re super pleased with the photos which are natural and really reflect the joy everyone had on the day. Katie was super great at directing people for the best photo outcomes, and was also receptive to our suggestions for photos! She was super flexible and adaptive to the varying weather conditions. Absolutely recommend Katie for your wedding, and she took some lovely family shots as well 😁

A really gifted and kind photographer. Katie was the biggest blessing on our wedding day.
Katie was the photographer on our wedding day and that was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Her work is excellent, so natural and the quality of her photos is something that myself and my husband are still enjoying 3 years after our special day. Katie has a warm, kind and very friendly personality - she put both me and my husband at so much ease during our engagement shoot and also on our wedding day. Our guests also commented that Katie was very helpful and kind, and we love all of the candid moments she captured throughout the day. Picking Katie as your wedding photographer is the best thing you could do when planning your wedding. She is a true blessing and a gift.

A fabulous addition to our day
Katie was the best wedding photographer you could ever hope for. She made us feel so relaxed before and on the day. Gorgeous photos from a fab photographer!
Katie was fabulous on our wedding day. We got married in during the pandemic and she was absolutely brilliant. She was amazing before, during and after the wedding day. Her attention to detail with planning her logistics for the day, who we wanted pictures with, where and all the other details! She did not let one thing slip! Her infectious smile and laughter fits well into the wedding day and makes you feel so relaxed! Even when you are posing for hundreds of photos when you normally would hate that! We loved having Katie as our photographer and would recommend her to anyone!!
