If the thought of being photographed all day makes you feel slightly uncomfortable… we already have something in common.
Your wedding isn’t a production. It’s one of the biggest days of your life, and I’d much rather see you laughing with your favourite people, hugging your family and soaking up every moment than spending hours in front of my camera.

Of course, we’ll still create beautiful portraits together. But nothing forced, nothing overly posed, and definitely nothing that keeps you away from your guests for half the day. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, then step back and let everything unfold naturally.

I’m Janette, a wedding photographer based in Greater Manchester, and if we end up working together, you’ll quickly realise I’m probably chatting to your grandparents one minute, fixing a buttonhole the next, and quietly capturing everything in between.

Couples usually choose me because they connect with my photographs, but one of the nicest compliments I hear time and time again is that, by the end of the day, I no longer feel like the photographer— I feel like someone who’s simply become part of the celebration.

I think that’s because I genuinely enjoy people. I love the conversations, the unexpected moments, the laughter, the happy chaos… and somewhere in the middle of it all, the camera quietly does its job.
