Charlotte Davies Photography is a Documentary Wedding Photographer based between St Andrews and Edinburgh, and provides Authentic, Emotional, Timeless images to couples across Scotland.
I’m here for the laughter, the love, the connection. We get the ‘classic’ photos in the bag, the group and couple photos that end up on parents’ and grandparents’ mantelpieces – but then it’s onto the real stuff, the happiness and joy that comes from celebrating with your nearest and dearest.
Nothing makes me happier than a client who has been completely able to just enjoy their day with their friends and family and focus totally on living in the moment, while I’ve been behind the scenes curating a beautiful true-to-life gallery that has preserved every moment. So you can relieve every precious memory, without having to compromise your experience on the day.

How far in advance should I contact you?
I'm beginning to be booked up throughout the peak season in 2026 - the sooner the better!
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Can you travel?
Yes, all of UK - based out of Fife, Scotland
What is the charge for travelling?
Approx £25/hour of time spent travelling. i.e. £25 to Kirkcaldy and back to Cupar

Other (I focus on taking authentic photos of emotion - so you come away with a variety of 'classic' essential photos, as well as warm candids and some creative twists. Always keen to hear your ideas!)

My approach is people-centric: I don't have a one-size-fits-all approach. The way I work totally depends on our pre-wedding consultation - but it will always be with total professionalism and care

Canon Mirrorless + combination of zooms and primes

Yes, photos are displayed on a private online gallery for you and your guests to view

Absolutely wonderful!!!
Wow Charlotte was fantastic!!! The photos that she took for our 25th Wedding Anniversary Vows Renewal at Dalhousie Castle in Edinburgh were nothing short of stunning! She is the loveliest lady, creative, patient, really sweet and so professional. We were just thrilled that we found her, she helped make the day the fairytale that we had dreamed of xxx

Beautiful Photos, Wonderful Experience!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Charlotte was so easy-going and lovely to work with, she made everything feel natural and stress-free. She blended in so well on the day that we often didn’t even notice she was there, yet she managed to capture the most beautiful moments — along with little details we never would have thought of ourselves. She was more than happy to go along with any requests we had, and the photos turned out absolutely gorgeous. On top of that, her service was very professional and so reasonably priced, which made the whole experience even better. We’re so grateful to have these memories to look back on — thank you so much!

Charlotte saves the day!
We cannot recommend Charlotte enough. We reached out at the 11th hour requesting her services for our wedding day and she came through like you wouldn’t believe! She is friendly, professional, personable, and incredibly kind! While we aren’t locals, if we were we would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Truly incredible wedding photography experience

Fantastic Wedding Photographer!
Charlotte is AMAZING! Our wedding day photography went off without a hitch. Charlotte was flexible, accommodating, open to feedback, and just a delight to work with. The price was also just right.
Most importantly, the photos were exactly what we wanted. They were vibrant, full of life, and captured the emotion of the day! I honestly don't know how she did it, but we were beyond thrilled with the results.
I had concerns about a non-South Asian photographer capturing my very traditional ceremony, but absolutely no regrets - she was the best!

Will and frans feedback
We were lucky enough to have Charlotte photograph our wedding last June and can’t compliment her enough for the work she did. She caught everything we wanted and more, in a very professional and unobtrusive way.
There were a few changes to the day at the last minute due to us being caught up in traffic but Charlotte was accommodating and put us immediately at our ease.
The final photos were back with us promptly and we can’t seem to stop going through them on a daily basis.
