I don't know how to explain the absolutely magic Carla captured from our day. Not only were here and the second photographer Aurelie so lovely, they are both amazing at what they do. They made the whole process so easy, and we could not recommend them highly enough!

Oh where to start! I truly believe the day we bumped into Carla’s photography profile on the website Hitched was not by chance. Carla was Godsent. We were searching around for a photographer that would be best suited to us. We wanted to be both comfortable on the day and have those special photos. Carla’s profile stood out for us, and her personality and speaking to her over the phone solidified that. We had a small wedding. On the day, Carla captured every moment, she missed absolutely nothing!!!! Going through our wedding photos, we were able to relive the day from start to finish and each photo is so special! We didn’t have a videographer and we were worried we would regret that, but after seeing our wedding photos, the worry disappeared. She truly preserved the memory of our wedding day and we are and will be forever grateful. Carla is warm, friendly, funny and made us feel at ease. We had people at the wedding ask whether she is related to us, that’s how much she fitted in with family and friends on the day. She instructed us about what to do when we were taking solo and group pictures which was really helpful. She used pre-wedding questions to get to know us as a couple and to know what we wanted. She also added her special touch on the day. Carla is not just for the wedding day, she has kept in contact with us, sending us thank you and christmas gifts, and a happy 6 months anniversary email. Carla is dedicated and passionate about what she does. We will definitely be using Carla for other life milestones and we cannot recommend her enough.

From the very first correspondence, she was very friendly suggesting a zoom call to get to know each other a little better. This made us feel very comfortable especially with my husband who is not comfortable with photos so she really helped to put him at ease with her explanation of her candid style which was perfect for us as we wanted more natural pictures memorialising the day.

On the day, Carla arrived and immediately fitted in, and got stuck into the shots, she also felt like a family member had arrived to lend a hand with wedding prep but all whilst taking lots of photos.

Most guests were surprised that we hadn’t known Carla prior to the wedding as she honestly fitted in like a family friend. All guests at the wedding loved her and commented on how amazing she was in her direction of the obligatory post marriage shots but also as a person, she fitted in superbly navigating her way around the wedding.

As a result our photos are a perfect packages of memories of our day, from the paper shots to the more candid documentary style pictures, they are edited and curated beautifully, we couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect and more ‘us’

Anyone looking for a wedding photographer I would recommend they hire Carla in a heartbeat, she is very kind, sends lots of communication and advice leading up to the big day. She asks lots of questions and as a result it felt like she got us and exactly what we wanted.

Also a word of advice for anyone wanting wedding photography….be brave in what you want in your photos, if tradition is your thing - great, if not, you don’t always have to follow the ‘norm’. Make your wedding 100% you.
