Hi, I’m Carl, a South Wales wedding photographer based in Mountain Ash. I have been photographing weddings since 2013, covering celebrations throughout Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Bridgend, Brecon, the Valleys and across Wales.

I’m known for relaxed, natural wedding photography that lets couples enjoy their day without spending hours posing. Most of your wedding is photographed as it genuinely happens, from the nerves and laughter during preparations to the hugs, speeches and chaos on the dance floor.

If you feel uncomfortable having your photograph taken, you are exactly my kind of couple. I provide friendly direction whenever it helps, keep family photographs organised and normally complete couple portraits in around 10 to 15 minutes.

My calm approach comes partly from my previous career in the British Army. Wedding timings can change, the weather does not always cooperate and unexpected things happen, but I stay organised and help everything flow without taking over.

I offer two full-day collections:

• Wedding Photography + Film, £2,500

Coverage begins with preparations and continues through the ceremony, family photographs, relaxed portraits, speeches, first dance and evening celebrations. Couples receive professionally edited photographs in a private online gallery, with 30 to 50 preview images delivered within one to seven days.

The Photography + Film collection also includes a cinematic highlight film, full ceremony and speeches films, a one-minute trailer and 4K filming.

My aim is simple: to give you an honest, joyful record of your wedding while making sure you spend the day celebrating with the people you invited.
