The day of dreams!
Our wedding day at the most incredible wedding venue (in the world!!) there just aren’t quite enough words that would do the venue justice. you have to experience it, feel it to get it. From the moment we booked our day, everything has been easy, stress free and enjoyable, and that’s because of the staff. In particular Rhian who looked after the start of the process, then Zoe who was just absolutely phenomenal. The whole day she was just calm, but sorted everything, nothing was ever too much to ask of her and she always thought of the little things I hadn’t. Nicole took over in the night and was also amazing!
The venue is beautiful, spotlessly clean with amazing gardens and surroundings for photographs!
The food - just wow! We had bbq for our wedding food then chippy lane supper for the evening. All of the guests were blown away by how different it was but just how tasty it all was, and so much of it!!
Aled & Scott - take a bow. 5 star. And to the waiting staff, you were all so lovely!
A huge shout out also to the bar staff - alistair, Joel & sacha - you ensured my Prosecco was always filled, constant smiles on your face and made the evening pure joy.

100% recommend
We had the absolute best day and the best build-up to our wedding, and so much of that was thanks to the incredible team at The King. Every member of staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and wonderfully patient. From the very first meeting, we felt completely supported and in safe hands, and they kept us informed at every step of the process.
The day itself ran flawlessly, and the venue looked absolutely stunning. The food was exceptional, and so many of our guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. We would not have changed a single thing. We would recommend The King wholeheartedly to anyone considering it for their wedding.

Wedding on the 14.11.25
I don’t even know where to start, but I could not recommend the King Arthur Hotel enough to anyone considering getting married here. The grounds, cottage, venue itself and the pub are so stunning. We suffered from Storm Claudia and it rained throughout the whole day and the staff were so amazing making sure we made the most out of our day. Our coordinator Zoe was so unbelievably helpful, constantly checking in and updating us with information. She helped us so much and made the day VERY smooth sailing and my family kept telling me how great the staff were at the venue, they couldn’t do enough for us. It was amazing and way better than I ever thought it could be, the main reason for this was the venue looked gorgeous, all my vendors were in contact with Zoe which meant I felt at ease and whenever I had concerns or questions the wedding team would get back to me very quickly! If you’re thinking about getting married here, please go visit its amazing 😀

A Perfect Day!
The team at King Arthur were incredible, our day ran so smoothly and it was just the most perfect day. It went so smoothly that the day absolutely flew by. Rhian our wedding coordinator was fantastic and we truly didn’t have to think about anything on the day as Rhian had it under control!
Nicole then took over in the evening and that all went perfectly too!!
We would without a doubt recommend the King Arthur Hotel to anyone looking to book their wedding and I believe that for all you get included it is also fairly priced!!

Absolutely amazing venue
We had our day on 16.09.2025 and the day was absolutely amazing. We had many guests with dietary requirements and the staff were absolutely wonderful with getting everything sorted for them.
Helen in reception was a star when it came to chasing guests for room confirmation and keeping us updated as to who had dropped their room 😊and Jo our day Coordinator was absolutely amazing I couldn't say anything bad thing about her if I tried. Jo went above and beyond to help us from start to finish, we had people drop out the day before and Jo helped us move tables around and was ready to keep out any unwanted guest
When Jo went home for the night she made sure we knew exactly who was taking over and neave was so kind and accommodating ❤️ if you are looking for a venue that will make sure your day goes absolutely smoothly keep the king Arthur and the team there in mind. If anything went wrong I never knew about it as the team were all over it before I noticed 💯

Dream wedding!
We had the best day ever! Staff were absolutely amazing and made our day run so smoothly from booking our date at the start to finish when leaving at the end of the weekend. We struck gold with our wedding co-ordinator Annelise! She is fantastic! So calm, reliable and we couldn’t have asked for more and nothing was too much for her. Wish we would relive the whole weekend again.

Perfect wedding at KA!
We spent the best day of our life at the King Arthur. Zoe from King Arthur went above and beyond for our special day. Zoe and her team anticipated things that we may have wanted but did not know we needed for our day. Guests only had good things to say about the wedding breakfast too! I had an accident at the end of the night and Niamh was understanding. Thank you for making our special day extra special with the warm hospitality. I'm glad that guests that came overseas were able to have a great first impression of South Wales too.

Amazing wedding venue and incredible staff!
Me and my partner had our civil partnership celebration on the 01/08/2025 at the King Arthur Hotel. We could not have been happier with how the day went and a huge part of that was down to the beautiful venue and amazing work the staff put into our day. From the first meeting up until the day the communication and attention to detail could not have been faulted.
My partner has a severe nut allergy and the King Arthur made sure no nuts were in the kitchen for the day as well as ensuring the menu was still at a high standard (many guests fed back to us how delicious the food was!). Along with that they were so attentive and supportive in the run-up and really went out of their way to make time for us and our many questions / requests! In particular Rhian our wedding coordinator was absolutely fantastic, impressively calm with a high attention for detail, along with all the staff that supported on the day and in the run-up. Something in particular we noticed was how they always made us feel that our day was important and the focus of their attention - which is such a skill when they deliver so many weddings throughout the year.
The venue itself is unbelievably beautiful and the perfect setting for a celebration. We got married on a Friday which worked particularly well as it meant we could book out the hotel rooms the night before for us and our guests.
We would with out a doubt 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a wedding or celebration!

Amazing venue, staff and support in wedding planning
We got married 14/07/2025 had a late ceremony and twilight wedding package. From our first viewing the staff were amazing and everyone truly took an interest in our ideas. Annelise was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing, responsive to questions, supportive on the big day and not to mention had all the answers to any wedding related questions we had in the run. Our day was absolutely wonderful and we can honestly say a big part of that was down to the King Arthur. You won’t go wrong choosing this venue.

The best wedding venue in South Wales!
We cannot recommend the King Arthur enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue in South Wales! From the moment we went to view the venue they were professional, friendly and went above and beyond to welcome us and explain everything in great detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even the endless emails and visits to the venue to show friends and family around prior to the wedding. Annelise was our wedding coordinator and we couldn’t be more thankful to have had her as part of our big day! The communication was exceptional from the start and even after the wedding. We feel as though we have made a friend for life and cannot wait to come back to see everyone with regular visits to the pub and hotel. Our day was truly magical and it would not have happened without the entire team at The King Arthur. Our guests cannot stop talking about how incredible everything was, from the mouth watering food (huge credit to chef!!) to the exceptional service and breathtaking venue. The day ran so smoothly, even despite the rainy weather. The staff knew how devastated I was that it rained and did everything in their power to make sure I didn’t notice (which I didn’t!!) and it definitely did not rain on our parade. We wish we could do it all again but cannot wait to go back soon and will use any excuse possible to visit. The biggest shout out, not only to to Annelise (what an absolute legend and our own wedding fairy!) and Niamh for such an incredible day, but to the entire team at The King Arthur! It really is the most magical wedding venue.

The best venue
The King Arthur is absolutely the best venue. Every step of the way they were professional, helpful, responsive and had ideas and solutions to every detail. My wife is celiac and the King Arthur ensured that all the food at the wedding was 100% gluten free throughout and they went above and beyond to search for quality products that could be substituted so that our day could be perfect.
Every dish that was ordered was received with glowing praise from all our guests, the lamb crocket starter was unbelievable with the pea puree and pickled carrots! James and his team deserve high praise for their food!
We had an outdoor ceremony and the lengths they went to, to ensure it was unbelievable was brilliant. They even had a blower out to get rid of the dew so that my wife dress was kept immaculate.
Rhian our wedding co-ordinator was amazing! She was so friendly and nothing was too much bother! She ensured that everything went smoothly from start to finish. It was a pleasure to have her as our co-ordinator.
We would also like to praise how all the staff at the King Arthur were brilliant. Everyone so friendly and always willing to help! With one member of staff fixing my wife’s necklace! The King Arthur are lucky to have such amazing staff.

Our dream wedding 💫
The whole wedding process at The King Arthur was incredible. We got married here on 17th February and we couldn’t have chosen a better wedding venue!
All of the staff are so attentive, responsive and nothing is too much of an ask. They are so thorough and organised I had no worries that our wedding day would be perfect and it was!
Our wedding coordinator, Rhian was absolutely incredible. She answered all of my questions I had and was so reassuring and organised during our meetings and on the day she was incredibly attentive.
All of the staff at the King Arthur are so welcoming and friendly, they make you feel very special which is exactly what you want for your wedding! Joanna from housekeeping was so fab when we checked in and nothing was too much trouble! A few of our guests complimented how friendly and a laugh she was during their stay for our wedding.
Justin the DJ made the evening of our wedding exactly how we wanted it and put up with our heavier music taste in the evening with all the groomsmen requesting songs so thank you so much Justin!! You made our evening 🤘🏻

Dream wedding come true!
The most beautiful venue - absolutely perfect for a romantic wedding with the stunning beams, fairylights and huge windows! The gardens are amazing, especially the fairylight willow tree. Everything is on site, so you don't have to leave.
From the very first day we met our wedding coordinator Annelise to the wedding day itself, the King Arthur team handled every detail with such care, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better wedding coordinator!
Annelise's patience, guidance, and incredible attention to detail made the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable! We felt completely at ease knowing everything was in such capable hands, and we are so grateful for everything she did to ensure the day ran absolutely flawlessly.
