King Arthur Hotel is a hotel wedding venue located in Reynoldston, Swansea, on the Gower peninsula recently voted BEST WEDDING VENUE in South and central Wales 2023. This property boasts ample space indoors and outdoors for the happy couple and their guests to enjoy one-of-a-kind celebrations. A warm and inviting countryside setting, this property also manages to accommodate elegant and sophisticated touches. Ceremonies and receptions can be held at this location so that couples can tie the knot and celebrate at a single location either outside in the enchanted flower meadow or inside the magical venue, Avalon.
Facilities and Capacity
The capacity ranges from 60 to 140 people, so the King Arthur Hotel can host small and large weddings. ‘I-do’ occasions can be hosted inside Avalon or outside in the picturesque gardens. Vows can be exchanged as rings are swapped against the backdrop of well-kept gardens and the patio area. Once the couple has been officially declared as newlyweds, everybody can congratulate them on their milestone. The cocktail hour can take place on the patio. This open-air site offers a space where beverages and al fresco hors d’oeuvres can be savoured ahead of the wedding breakfast and reception. The happy couple can slip away to enjoy photo opportunities around the grounds as everyone enjoys the milestone.
When the time comes for the main meal, Avalon can be rearranged. Wooden beams, large windows, and magical fairylights help to create a romantic space that truly comes alive when adorned with wedding decor. Tables and chairs can be set up so that guests can recline as culinary delights are served. A dance floor is also available, meaning that the newly married pair can enjoy their first dance as everyone watches on.

These specialists can also be there on the day itself to ensure that the elevated event runs according to plan. In-house chefs are happy to adapt their various menus to suit specific preferences and tastes. Additionally, the King Arthur Hotel has a skilled DJ who can keep everyone entertained by playing tunes all night long. For any guests who would like to stay the night, accommodation is available. The best & friendliest venue in wales
Nothing was ever too much to ask. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect & run so smoothly. They dealt with everything.
The attention to details was superb, they run through every tiny little detail and made sure we were all sorted and prepared. No problem was too small for them to deal with.
The staff were all so friendly and welcoming & we genuinely feel like we are now part of the King Arthur family. We were made to feel like we were the most important people in the world, with an extra thank you to Annelise & Niamh.
The venue on its own is absolutely stunning, the gardens are breath taking. The food was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time.
Honestly it cannot be put into words how amazing and personal this venue is. All our guests were blown away with the day, plus me & my husband had the wedding we’d dreamed of

Excellent Venue King Arthur
From the moment I viewed the venue I completely fell in love with it.Jo my wedding coordinator was amazing throughout and always made me and my family welcome and at ease.Nothing was to much trouble.Emails and queries were always answered quickly and professionally .All the Staff have been friendly and amazing and cant do enough for you.All my guests said it is the best wedding they have ever been to.The venue,staff,food and accommadation were absolutely amazing.We really had the most perfect day/night.Highly recommend this venue,

Amazing, stunning, perfect wedding!
Wedding planning was stressful but the best decision we made was to choose the King Arthur Hotel as our venue.
The space was stunning, rustic and beautiful.
The food was amazing - many of my guests commented it was the best food they've had at a wedding!
What really impressed me, though, was the staff! Jo was a fabulous wedding coordinator and a dream to work with! She was flexible and accommodating to my requests. She was quick with solutions when there were issues. I knew I could trust her judgement, which takes a lot of the pressure off. Jo & her wedding team went above & beyond to make sure everything went well - and it did!!
We are so pleased we had our wedding here, and we are sure you would be too!

The perfect venue for a June Wedding
We cannot recommend the King Arthur highly enough as a wedding venue!
Our wedding coordinator Jo guided us expertly through our plans, and where we weren't sure on some decisions, she gave us the guidance we needed. We quickly learnt to trust her judgement - we couldn't be more grateful for her approach.
The grounds and venue are glorious. They were a fabulous backdrop for our guests to relax and enjoy themselves. They looked so beautiful that we spontaneously changed our plans for our wedding photos, instead opting for the meadow at the bottom of the grounds which was a riot of summer flowers! Looking back through our wedding photos, we could not be happier with how things turned out.
Our coordinator moved the day on brilliantly, we felt in very safe hands. There was real attention to detail with the food, which started with a taster evening several months before. The coordinator and head chef went to impressive lengths to help us choose what was right for our guests on our wedding day. Our guests were delighted with the wedding breakfast. For the evening reception, we chose a BBQ, which was spot on for a summer wedding in the Gower.

Great Wedding Venue & Staff
We had our wedding at the King Arthur Hotel recently and the whole experience was nothing short of amazing. Our wedding coordinator, Jo, was great through the whole process. From wedding planning and making sure we had everything in place to making sure the everything was running smoothly on the big day! The staff of the King Arthur Hotel were very hospitable and they took great care of us and our guests. The overall experience was amazing and we would definitely recommend the King Arthur Hotel as wedding venue to anyone.

Incredible!!!!!
We got married at the King Arthur Hotel on 22/07/23.
I cannot put into words how amazing this venue is & how incredible all the staff are!!! We had the pleasure of having Jo as our wedding coordinator and all I can say is she is absolutely amazing at what she does!
All the staff were super friendly and helpful from start to finish - From listening to what we wanted to being so attentive on our wedding day! We were so looked after.
The venue itself is so beautiful and although it rained on our special day, it didn't dampen the vibes at all!
The food was outstanding!!! We had the BBQ option and buffet in the evening and the amount of compliments we've had about the food since the wedding is crazy! Everyone was catered for including veggies & vegans, everyone really enjoyed the food! The chef is amazing!!!
I wish we could do it all again and both myself & my husband can't recommend the King Arthur Hotel as a wedding venue enough!

Dream Wedding
We got married at the King Arthur Hotel in April and all I can say is WOW! Everyone was amazing from start to finish. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. The food was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every bite - So a big thank you to the amazing chefs. A big, big thank you to Zoe for all her hard work in making our day perfect. Zoe was amazing from our first met all the way to the end 💖 She really made sure everything was done to a high standard and exactly what we wanted. Every other member of staff we encountered were fantastic & honestly worked so hard to ensure everything was amazing. We could go on and on about how brilliant the day was. Thank you so, so much 🤍🤍

We had the best day at the King Arthur!
We had the most perfect day at the King Arthur for our wedding day. The venue is beautiful, the food was amazing and everything just ran so smoothly. Zoe was our wedding coordinator, she was so lovely and did so much to help us plan the day. She made sure everything was sorted and planned for so that we could just enjoy the day and not worry about anything. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Excellent!
We had our wedding at King Authur in April 23. It was a fantastic day. The King Authur was a great venue and Zoe Noot, the wedding team and wider staff all helped to make this day perfect for us. They were very professional. Very impressed! So pleased we had our wedding there.

Very nearly absolutely perfect
Our wedding co-ordinator changed a couple of times, which meant that a few things needed sending a number of times as they couldn't be found- HOWEVER, when we got placed with Zoe, she couldn't do enough for us.
A few things had to be changed relatively last minute due to key wedding party members being unable to attend and Zoe took it all in her stride and was able to keep us calm too.
The day went by almost without a hitch- a couple of of little niggles mentioned by guests and seen by myself, however I think that in the grand scheme of things everything was magnificent!
Absolutely value for money, the food is outstanding, Zoe was so helpful!!
Would definitely recommend to friends/family thinking of hosting a larger scale event/wedding.
A few things had to be changed relatively last minute due to key wedding party members being unable to attend and Zoe took it all in her stride and was able to keep us calm too.

The most magical day
We had our wedding yesterday. The whole experience has been utterly amazing. Annelise our wedding coordinator is not only a lovely person but will do anything to help. The whole day went smoothly, the food was amazing and every single person has said how brilliant the setting is.
All the staff were amazing and so helpful.
Brides I can highly recommend booking upper brynfield cottage for the weekend to get ready, it’s an amazing cottage, I’d quite happily sell my house and move in.

Excellent!!!
Wow!!! We held our wedding ceremony and party here last weekend, what a beautiful venue, what a stunning location, what an incredible team.of talented people delivering amazing customer service, excellent food and lifelong memories to treasure. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
The rooms are gorgeous, public and bedrooms both. Lovely Helen at reception was mentioned so many times by our guests, Ruth and her breakfast team are a delight, Rhys and the bar team are such great fun and service, the young maintenance guy, Ceri, was amazing to speak to, helpful and so positive. Justin the DJ was brilliant, great songs, great personality and the video is a treasure. Every member of staff is an ambassador for the hotel, so refreshing. Finally Zoe and the wedding team....great service from the start and Zoe was phenomenal on the day, guiding us through and keeping everything connected and smooth. She really did go the extra mile for us and we are so very, very grateful. Our day and weekend was perfect and memorable in every way. So many fabulous comments from our guests. Thank you with all our hearts, Ian & Rhian Jackson ❤️

There is no better wedding venue in the whole world
It’s hard to know where to start in writing this review, as the venue and all the staff mean so much to us even before hosting our wedding, but even more so now. We had our first night away together at the King Arthur almost 15 years ago, and returned as often as we possibly could, so when we decided to get married, there was no where else in the world that we could have chosen that would have been more perfect. From the initial wedding meeting right through to our special day, the team treated us like absolute royalty. They were so helpful, and warm and have become great friends of ours. The whole day went without a single hitch, the team were so professional and attentive, there was nothing that was too much for them. They made sure the day run smoothly and timely, without us ever having to worry about a thing. Every small detail meant so much to us and didn’t go unnoticed, the grounds are beautiful, everyone commented on the food, saying that it was the best wedding food that they’d ever had, and we definitely agree! Inside the Avalon it just the most gorgeous setting for any wedding. The staff, I cannot praise them highly enough. I wish more than anything that we could just do the whole day all over again. We would like to thank the amazing staff at the King Arthur for making our wedding day the most perfect day, we can never thank you enough.
