King Arthur Hotel is a hotel wedding venue located in Reynoldston, Swansea, on the Gower peninsula recently voted BEST WEDDING VENUE in South and central Wales 2023. This property boasts ample space indoors and outdoors for the happy couple and their guests to enjoy one-of-a-kind celebrations. A warm and inviting countryside setting, this property also manages to accommodate elegant and sophisticated touches. Ceremonies and receptions can be held at this location so that couples can tie the knot and celebrate at a single location either outside in the enchanted flower meadow or inside the magical venue, Avalon.
Facilities and Capacity
The capacity ranges from 60 to 140 people, so the King Arthur Hotel can host small and large weddings. ‘I-do’ occasions can be hosted inside Avalon or outside in the picturesque gardens. Vows can be exchanged as rings are swapped against the backdrop of well-kept gardens and the patio area. Once the couple has been officially declared as newlyweds, everybody can congratulate them on their milestone. The cocktail hour can take place on the patio. This open-air site offers a space where beverages and al fresco hors d’oeuvres can be savoured ahead of the wedding breakfast and reception. The happy couple can slip away to enjoy photo opportunities around the grounds as everyone enjoys the milestone.
When the time comes for the main meal, Avalon can be rearranged. Wooden beams, large windows, and magical fairylights help to create a romantic space that truly comes alive when adorned with wedding decor. Tables and chairs can be set up so that guests can recline as culinary delights are served. A dance floor is also available, meaning that the newly married pair can enjoy their first dance as everyone watches on.

Wedding coordinators with over 20 years of experience can assist the happy couple as they prepare for the all-important festivities. These specialists can also be there on the day itself to ensure that the elevated event runs according to plan. In-house chefs are happy to adapt their various menus to suit specific preferences and tastes. Additionally, the King Arthur Hotel has a skilled DJ who can keep everyone entertained by playing tunes all night long. For any guests who would like to stay the night, accommodation is available. These elegantly decorated cottages and rooms provide the perfect luxury setting for a restful night's sleep.

The best & friendliest venue in wales
The attention to details was superb, they run through every tiny little detail and made sure we were all sorted and prepared. No problem was too small for them to deal with.
The staff were all so friendly and welcoming & we genuinely feel like we are now part of the King Arthur family. We were made to feel like we were the most important people in the world, with an extra thank you to Annelise & Niamh.
The venue on its own is absolutely stunning, the gardens are breath taking. The food was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time.
Honestly it cannot be put into words how amazing and personal this venue is. All our guests were blown away with the day, plus me & my husband had the wedding we’d dreamed of

Amazing, stunning, perfect wedding!
The space was stunning, rustic and beautiful.
The food was amazing - many of my guests commented it was the best food they've had at a wedding!
What really impressed me, though, was the staff! Jo was a fabulous wedding coordinator and a dream to work with! She was flexible and accommodating to my requests. She was quick with solutions when there were issues. I knew I could trust her judgement, which takes a lot of the pressure off. Jo & her wedding team went above & beyond to make sure everything went well - and it did!!
We are so pleased we had our wedding here, and we are sure you would be too!
The perfect venue for a June Wedding
Our wedding coordinator Jo guided us expertly through our plans, and where we weren't sure on some decisions, she gave us the guidance we needed. We quickly learnt to trust her judgement - we couldn't be more grateful for her approach.
The grounds and venue are glorious. They were a fabulous backdrop for our guests to relax and enjoy themselves. They looked so beautiful that we spontaneously changed our plans for our wedding photos, instead opting for the meadow at the bottom of the grounds which was a riot of summer flowers! Looking back through our wedding photos, we could not be happier with how things turned out.
Our coordinator moved the day on brilliantly, we felt in very safe hands. There was real attention to detail with the food, which started with a taster evening several months before. The coordinator and head chef went to impressive lengths to help us choose what was right for our guests on our wedding day. Our guests were delighted with the wedding breakfast. For the evening reception, we chose a BBQ, which was spot on for a summer wedding in the Gower.

I cannot put into words how amazing this venue is & how incredible all the staff are!!! We had the pleasure of having Jo as our wedding coordinator and all I can say is she is absolutely amazing at what she does!
All the staff were super friendly and helpful from start to finish - From listening to what we wanted to being so attentive on our wedding day! We were so looked after.
The venue itself is so beautiful and although it rained on our special day, it didn't dampen the vibes at all!
The food was outstanding!!! We had the BBQ option and buffet in the evening and the amount of compliments we've had about the food since the wedding is crazy! Everyone was catered for including veggies & vegans, everyone really enjoyed the food! The chef is amazing!!!
I wish we could do it all again and both myself & my husband can't recommend the King Arthur Hotel as a wedding venue enough!

Very nearly absolutely perfect
A few things had to be changed relatively last minute due to key wedding party members being unable to attend and Zoe took it all in her stride and was able to keep us calm too.
The day went by almost without a hitch- a couple of of little niggles mentioned by guests and seen by myself, however I think that in the grand scheme of things everything was magnificent!
Absolutely value for money, the food is outstanding, Zoe was so helpful!!
Would definitely recommend to friends/family thinking of hosting a larger scale event/wedding.
The most magical day
All the staff were amazing and so helpful.
Brides I can highly recommend booking upper brynfield cottage for the weekend to get ready, it’s an amazing cottage, I’d quite happily sell my house and move in.

The wedding coordinator was so lovely, she coordinated our wedding so beautifully and she was so helpful, it meant the world to us.
Everyone also complimented the food so much (one of our guests even returned on Sunday for food at the restaurant!)
The set up throughout the day was perfect and intimate, just the way we envisioned it to be. I couldn't have imagined the day to be as perfect as it was!
