King Arthur Hotel is a hotel wedding venue located in Langland, Swansea, on the Gower peninsula. This property boasts ample space indoors and outdoors for the happy couple and their guests to enjoy one-of-a-kind celebrations. A warm and inviting countryside setting, this property also manages to accommodate elegant and sophisticated touches. Ceremonies and receptions can be held at this location so that couples can tie the knot and celebrate at a single location.
Facilities and Capacity
The capacity ranges from 50 to 150 people, so the King Arthur Hotel can host small and large weddings. ‘I-do’ occasions can be hosted in Avalon, a spacious room that can welcome as many as 140 people. Here, chairs may be arranged for invitees to sit as the happy couple take centre stage at the head of the room. Vows can be exchanged as rings are swapped against the backdrop of well-kept gardens and the patio area. Once the couple has been officially declared as newlyweds, everybody can congratulate them on their milestone. The cocktail hour can take place on the patio. This open-air site offers a space where beverages and al fresco hors d’oeuvres can be savoured ahead of the wedding breakfast and reception. The happy couple can slip away to enjoy photo opportunities around the grounds as everyone enjoys the milestone.
When the time comes for the main meal, the Avalon can be rearranged. Wooden beams, large windows, and wooden features help to create a romantic space that truly comes alive when adorned with wedding decor. Tables and chairs can be set up so that invitees can recline as culinary delights are served. A dance floor is also available, meaning that the newly married pair can enjoy their first dance as everyone watches on.
Wedding coordinators can assist the happy couple as they prepare for the all-important festivities. These specialists can also be there on the day itself to ensure that the elevated event runs according to plan. In-house chefs are happy to adapt their various menus to suit specific preferences and tastes. What’s more, the King Arthur Hotel also has a talented DJ who can spin tracks throughout the night to keep everyone entertained. For those who wish to spend the night here, accommodation is also available. These tastefully designed rooms and cottages offer luxurious spaces ideal for a good night’s rest.

Did not disappoint!
Myself and my husband got married here last Thursday. I'd set my heart on The King Arthur 18 months ago and didn't want to look at any other venues and they did not disappoint. We had the most amazing day from morning till night. Annelise was our co-ordinator and she was amazing, Annelise was with us for the whole experience helped me the day before to organise the Avalon and right through till the end of the wedding day - Thank you so much for your patience and support. We will definitely continue to visit as we now adore The King Arthur even more than we did.Sent on 08/04/2019
