King Arthur Hotel is a hotel wedding venue located in Reynoldston, Swansea, on the Gower peninsula recently voted BEST WEDDING VENUE in South and central Wales 2023. This property boasts ample space indoors and outdoors for the happy couple and their guests to enjoy one-of-a-kind celebrations. A warm and inviting countryside setting, this property also manages to accommodate elegant and sophisticated touches. Ceremonies and receptions can be held at this location so that couples can tie the knot and celebrate at a single location either outside in the enchanted flower meadow or inside the magical venue, Avalon.
Facilities and Capacity
The capacity ranges from 60 to 140 people, so the King Arthur Hotel can host small and large weddings. ‘I-do’ occasions can be hosted inside Avalon or outside in the picturesque gardens. Vows can be exchanged as rings are swapped against the backdrop of well-kept gardens and the patio area. Once the couple has been officially declared as newlyweds, everybody can congratulate them on their milestone. The cocktail hour can take place on the patio. This open-air site offers a space where beverages and al fresco hors d’oeuvres can be savoured ahead of the wedding breakfast and reception. The happy couple can slip away to enjoy photo opportunities around the grounds as everyone enjoys the milestone.
When the time comes for the main meal, Avalon can be rearranged. Wooden beams, large windows, and magical fairylights help to create a romantic space that truly comes alive when adorned with wedding decor. Tables and chairs can be set up so that guests can recline as culinary delights are served. A dance floor is also available, meaning that the newly married pair can enjoy their first dance as everyone watches on.

The best & friendliest venue in wales
Nothing was ever too much to ask. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect & run so smoothly. They dealt with everything.
The attention to details was superb, they run through every tiny little detail and made sure we were all sorted and prepared. No problem was too small for them to deal with.
The staff were all so friendly and welcoming & we genuinely feel like we are now part of the King Arthur family. We were made to feel like we were the most important people in the world, with an extra thank you to Annelise & Niamh.
The venue on its own is absolutely stunning, the gardens are breath taking. The food was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time.
Honestly it cannot be put into words how amazing and personal this venue is. All our guests were blown away with the day, plus me & my husband had the wedding we’d dreamed of

Our dream wedding 💫
The whole wedding process at The King Arthur was incredible. We got married here on 17th February and we couldn’t have chosen a better wedding venue!
All of the staff are so attentive, responsive and nothing is too much of an ask. They are so thorough and organised I had no worries that our wedding day would be perfect and it was!
Our wedding coordinator, Rhian was absolutely incredible. She answered all of my questions I had and was so reassuring and organised during our meetings and on the day she was incredibly attentive.
All of the staff at the King Arthur are so welcoming and friendly, they make you feel very special which is exactly what you want for your wedding! Joanna from housekeeping was so fab when we checked in and nothing was too much trouble! A few of our guests complimented how friendly and a laugh she was during their stay for our wedding.
Justin the DJ made the evening of our wedding exactly how we wanted it and put up with our heavier music taste in the evening with all the groomsmen requesting songs so thank you so much Justin!! You made our evening 🤘🏻
The food on the day was incredible, all of our guests complimented the quality of the food and loved it.
We literally cannot fault a thing about our wedding and this is down to the incredible staff at the King Arthur so just the biggest thank you!!

Dream wedding come true!
The most beautiful venue - absolutely perfect for a romantic wedding with the stunning beams, fairylights and huge windows! The gardens are amazing, especially the fairylight willow tree. Everything is on site, so you don't have to leave.
From the very first day we met our wedding coordinator Annelise to the wedding day itself, the King Arthur team handled every detail with such care, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better wedding coordinator!
Annelise's patience, guidance, and incredible attention to detail made the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable! We felt completely at ease knowing everything was in such capable hands, and we are so grateful for everything she did to ensure the day ran absolutely flawlessly.
Our friends and family are still talking about how incredible our wedding was! The food was absolutely superb—everyone keeps commenting on how delicious it was. And of course, a huge shoutout to resident DJ Justin, who brought so much fun to the dance floor!

Fabulous festive wedding!
The King Arthur provided the most beautiful festive venue and took all of the stress out of our day so we could just relax and enjoy being with our favourite people. We honestly had such an incredible day. The food , the decor, the presentation and the little details were all taken care of by Annalise, our coordinator, and her team. So worth it and such great value. We will remember it all forever

The amazing team at King Arthur
The King Arthur was the most beautiful venue and we knew as soon as we visited that it was where we wanted to get married. The day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Annelise and her team were beyond all our expectations. They were so attentive, calming and wonderful in the lead up and on the big day. We cannot thank them enough for making the most memorable day of our lives so special. The venue, service, food and professionalism were all second to none. You all do a wonderful job and deserve the recent wedding award hands down. We can’t wait to come back and visit and have more wonderful memories there.

The best day!
We can’t even put into words how amazing this venue is. As soon as we visited The King Arthur we knew we had to get married there. From all the staff that work there, who literally cannot do enough for you, to the amazing food! We had the best day and our wedding coordinator, Jo, was a dream! All our family and friends commented on how incredible the day was! Thank you so so so much for making our day everything we dreamed of and more.

If you are looking for somewhere to get married then I could not recommend the King Arthur enough. I fell in love with the venue the first time I went to one of their open days. The scenary is beautiful, the rooms are immaculate, the staff are professional and extremely accommodating and don’t get me started on the food! We celebrated our big day there this weekend and both us and our guests had a day we will never forget. Thank you Rhian & everyone at the King Arthur for making our day so special and one we will never forget, we are eternally grateful. Wish we could do it all over again!

Wonderland
I cannot express my absolute gratitude for every single person at the King Arthur hotel, From the first meeting ( November 23 ) to our wedding day 23.10.24 .. If we could mention everyone by name we would, but Jo, our wedding planner, saw my vision, guided me and was patient with my “Husband “ when he was being a typical groom.
Every member of staff made us feel so special and nothing was too much for them.
When it came to the day ..I had made the decor myself, and was quite set on how I wanted certain things, it felt like Jo could actually read my mind and vision, and with all the items I had brought for the ceremony arch ( I had done a mock up but not 100% happy with it ) created the most magical “stage”for our vows .. and then went above and beyond with all other touches .. and on top of that, she ordered sunshine .. and we got it 😃.
The food was outstanding ! Our guests can’t stop telling us how amazing it was ! As was the service,
Then into the evening .. the bar staff and evening staff were just perfect ..
we are overwhelmed! Our guests were amazed .. and the King Arthur and their fabulous army of staff will be forever stamped on our hearts !!
Just a last word … we visited a few local venues and by far they were the most affordable.. the King Arthur have a variety of wedding packages, suiting all budgets, what ever package you choose, the customer service, food and experience they provide are the same quality whatever package you choose, and it’s something that Money can’t buy

Great Wedding Venue
Attended my sister's wedding in October and it was the magical wonderland that she dreamt of. Her vision was not lost on the wonderful wedding planner who fully supported her all the way. The staff were truly helpful and accommodating throughout the day and nothing was too much bother. The food was fabulous and even the sunshine appeared to be ordered especially. Highly recommended and a day enjoyed by all who attended.

Robinson Wedding!
So happy we chose the King Arthur to get married at! From the minute we booked it, nothing has ever been too much trouble - every email or phone call has been returned ASAP and all the staff we have spoken to have been amazing! Our wedding coordinator was Annelise and she is outstanding! She really made our wedding perfect - we could not have done it without her!
The venue itself was stunning with so many places to have amazing photos and the Avalon looked so pretty with all the fairy lights and our decor! The wedding team and Annelise did a fantastic job of making sure everyone f was perfect and just how we wanted it!
The food for the wedding meal was amazing - as it always is at the King Arthur! And all of our guests said how much they thoroughly enjoyed the whole day!

Fantastic team!
We had our wedding in September 2024. Annelise was our wedding coordinator and we couldn't have asked more from her. On the day, she anticipated our needs before we even knew them. She has mastered the art of being present without us feeling like we were being watched. My husband and I were really keen on doing a 'first look' before the ceremony. Annelise worked with the photographers to get the perfect set up, which included a barrier wall made of bridesmaids! You could tell that she really cared about us having our best day.
In the long, 18-month run up to the day, I didn't have to worry about a single enquiry because everything was responded to within a day - usually within hours. Even when Annelise was on leave, someone would always respond to us to say that our message had been passed on for her to action on her return.
As there wasn't a wedding the evening before the wedding day, we were able to book the hotel rooms for all of our staying guests for 2 nights and we were able to book out the whole restaurant for the night before the big day. We're so grateful to have had that time with the guests as the next day was a whirlwind of quick hello's in between pictures and other obligations.
Our guests all commented on how beautiful the venue was and how fantastic the food tasted. Our package gave us so many options to pick from regarding the food and drink, so we felt like we had the freedom to choose on all of the important bits. The DJ gave us (mostly) free rein on the evening playlist - this was really important for us and I'm glad we had the ability to play some of our emo rock bangers.
The rooms were lovely and comfortable. We stayed for a long weekend in the cottage afterwards and loved having that extra space.
Overall, we picked this venue because of how welcoming we found it compared to other venues, and our guests noticed it, too. There are so many options for incredible pictures in the surrounding areas and, even though a few of us woke up with some heavy heads the next day, I challenge you to find somewhere more beautiful to soothe you.
Thank you to all at the King Arthur team for a weekend I will never forget! We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary ❤️

Dream Day at a Dream Venue
You will not regret booking your wedding at the King Arthur!
If you want your guests raving about the food, the service, overall atmosphere & beautiful surroundings then you are looking in the right place!
Big special thanks to Rhian our wedding co-ordinator who made sure the day went without a glitch, keeping us calm and making sure we didn’t have to lift a finger!
Prior to the day Rhian was there at every moment making sure we knew exactly what was expected from us giving us advice on how the day will run and answering any questions as soon as they arose! If Rhian was not available other staff members would reply straight away and made us feel everything was always in hand.
We honestly could not fault a thing about the King Arthur, the set up is spectacular! All the accommodation makes the day extra special, it means you can have a get together with guests the night before the wedding or even the day after.
All our guests were amazed at breakfast the following morning!

We had a wonderful day and would recommend to anyone
We had an amazing wedding at the King Arthur. It’s a beautiful setting with lovely spots for photos. The option to stay on site was great. The food was delicious (lots of our guests commented on this!) One of the best aspects of the venue is the staff. On the day they were all so friendly, helpful and professional. Annelise, our coordinator on the day, was brilliant. She was so kind, calm and organised and made sure everything ran smoothly. She anticipated things at every step and we felt completely assured that everything was in hand. It was a pleasure to have her with us as part of our day! The other coordinators we spoke to before the day were also all fantastic. It is clearly a “well-oiled machine” when it comes to running weddings and they are so professional and experienced. But at the same time it felt very intimate, cosy and friendly, which is what we wanted. We really felt like our day was special and important and never like just another wedding. We would totally recommend to anyone thinking of getting married here.
