A moment to remember
We could tell that she had, very carefully, rehearsed the song we chose so that, even though it was in Italian, the guests that were there really understood the emotion behind the song and why we had chosen it. I will never forget stopping during the signing of the register, to listen to her. It was one of my favourite memories of the day.

Saskia is thrilled to join North Sea Voices & Ely Collegium for this superb concert of Magnificat by Dr Susannah Self & Duruflé's Requiem.
For the past two years, North Sea Voices and Orchestra, together with superb chamber choir Ely Collegium, have thrilled audiences with their moving renditions of popular choral repertoire such as Fauré's Requiem and Vivaldi's magnificent Gloria.
Ely composer Dr. Susannah Self has also premièred her stunning major new works, Sea Requiem and Stabat Mater, both rapturously received. A new première will be given in this exceptional concert, of her latest choral masterpiece, the Magnificat. This will be paired with Duruflé's ever-popular Requiem, one of the finest choral works of the 20th Century.
You are recommended to book early to avoid disappointment, as tickets for this event have sold out for the last two years, and seats are limited.
