Lucky Penny Weddings is a multiple award winning wedding transportation company based out of Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Under the care of their expert chauffeurs, couples can make their memorable entrance in a choice of beautiful classic vehicles.
Penny is the company's 1966 VW split screen microbus, bursting with colour, character, and comfort. Penny is the perfect vehicle for your bridal party, why not team her up with our fantastic 1972 Beetle! The perfect way to arrive at your wedding, turning heads and spreading joy as we go.
To compliment our range of classic cars we are extremly excited to offer this truly stylish 1968 Jaguar MK2.
Since being driven out of the showroom it has remained in the same family ever since. In 2018 the extensive restoration was complete. The original Old English White colour was maintained but the interior was upgraded to a sumptuous red leather, complimenting the walnut dash.
Since being back on the road, the car has featured on the front cover of Classic Jaguar magazine and in the TV show Classic Car Garage. The history of this Jag is unique and the perfect car to start your lifelong journey in together.
If elegance, style and a touch of glamour is the key to your wedding, than look no further than our truly stuning Triumph Stag.
The previous owner brought this 1976 Triumph brought this for his wife over 40 years ago as a wedding anniversary. It stayed in the family and was used their daughters wedding car.
it has the most gorgeous blue interior and is availble with a hard top or let the wind run through your hair and have the roof down!

Morris is a 1958 VW split screen camper and what a grand chap he is! Not only can he transport you and your bridal party to your celebrations he can then double up as a photo booth and the fun continues as your guests grab a prop and pose for a picture.
Morris can be hired for transport or photo booth or both!

After confirming the timeline a few days before, Matt arrived with plenty of time to collect me from my hotel. The gorgeous classic car was dressed beautifully, and Matt's friendly demeanor immediately put my parents and I at ease. He also carried a thoughtful box of goodies, to help provide comfort and ease any last minute nerves.
The drive to the registry office was spent with Matt and my dad reminiscing on the classic Jaguar and other classic cars that dad had owned.
Despite travelling on a heatwave (over 30 degrees), with the windows open, the car was relatively cool and fresh. Matt also provided cold water bottles, and love hearts to keep our energy up, which were gratefully received!

The perfect wedding car!
Firstly I have to say how lovely Kate was, friendly, polite and professional. Booking was so easy and Kate was always prompt with responses.
On the day Kate turned up with plenty of time to spare, she was great with my niece and nephew, and had provided snacks and drinks in the back for us which was a lovely touch.
Kate then waited around till after the ceremony so we could have photos with the car.
I feel Lucky Penny was great value for money.

A special shoutout to our driver, Guy, who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He arrived early, made us feel completely at ease, and was genuinely kind, professional, and patient. He helped keep everything running smoothly and added a lovely calm presence during an otherwise busy morning especially when it was also his first time too!

When we arrived people were still all standing outside the church, Kate straight away said she would keep going past and park up the road, quick thinking helped calm my nerves and ensured everyone was in the church!
