Wedding Music and DJs in Lothian & Borders

We had Sean dj our wedding and he was incredible! From our pre wedding call he just got us. We had a few asks and he accommodated with ease including little tweaks on the night as it unfolded. When we had missing mics for speeches at the venue he immediately got us sorted providing us with equipment even though he wasn't actually due to start for 2 hours! He shows up early and he shows up for his clients ready to bring the house down. The vibes were immaculate from start to finish. He reads the room, keeps everyone on their feet and honestly gave us the best wedding reception we could have ever dreamed of. An absolute class act from start to finish, 100% recommend ❤️

we were not sure about selecting a dj, and was guided to speak to a few djs and find out more about what they could do for us. I am so glad i done this as the full day and evening was great. the communication was a lot, but now i understand why. Before the wedding i had a full plan of the entertainment . before the first dance i was given a very special gift, that was truly unexpected. we had a fun and existing day and night. Lee was amazing! We would 100% recommend him. He read the room perfectly and had everyone of all ages up and dancing. Lee led the ceilidh dances very well and it turned out to be one of our favourite parts of the day. Great value for money and communication in the run up to the day. Lee clearly has a lot of experience in the industry and knows what he's doing - thank you!

Woohoo Band were perfect for our wedding. As well as being great performers, they also brought such a fun atmosphere and many of our guests have commented on how great the music was. They were also very helpful in the lead up to the wedding and accommodating of our music taste and preferences!

Jess is absolutely wonderful. She has the most beautiful voice, she absolutely nailed every single song. I chose Jess based on the huge range of song in her repertoire, we really wanted an alternative edge to our songs and she provided this to a T! Jess performed our song for our first dance and I could still cry watching her sing this song ❤️ I would have also booked her as celebrant if we hadn’t already booked a registrar. She is such a genuinely lovely person, she loves weddings and she made us feel 100% at ease. She has so much knowledge about the industry and she’s an absolute gem. I cannot recommend her enough!

We had our special day on Saturday 20th December 2025 which was made even more special by having Kenny be there and part of it. Kenny played for our wedding ceremony and was nothing short of phenomenal, all of our guests raved about him. Communication was quick and professional, he showed up in plenty time to set up and looked the part too. All the songs we requested weren't a problem and Kenny learnt any he didn't already know. We had a special request that we didn't think would be possible, for him to play with another musician (sax) we had in attendance for our ceremony exit song. We didn't think it would be possible as they both didn't know each other and wouldnt meet until the day of our wedding however Kenny reached out to the other musician and made it work, we were over the moon and you would have thought they had rehearsed the song for weeks together, it was perfect! I honestly couldnt recommend Kenny more for any event, such a lovely person and made our day extra special just by being part of it!

We had the Apollos for our wedding in July 2023. They were able to travel down to our venue in North Yorkshire and were very flexible and professional in the planning/ lead up the wedding when there were changes to our timeline for the day. Having both Scottish and English family at the wedding we had a range of experience levels participating, both sides had an amazing time and are still talking about the quality of the bands music, as well as the bands caller. We would definitely want to hire this bad again for future events and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mix of ceilidh and regular songs for their evening event.

Glyn was such a special part of our wedding day, not only did he play beautiful songs on the bagpipes that set the perfect tone for our celebration, but he also served as our celebrant, leading us through a ceremony that was heartfelt, personal, and unforgettable. He told our story with such warmth and care, and seamlessly wove in Scottish wedding traditions that added so much meaning and magic to the moment. His blend of charm, humor, and a touch of history made the ceremony feel intimate, unique, and truly ours. We couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful or talented person to guide us into this new chapter. Glyn brought so much heart and authenticity to our day, we’re endlessly grateful.

Hi Guys, thank you so music for playing at our wedding, you really made it special for us and our guests, and we have never seen a ceilidh like it, the music and dance calling were amazing and so was the dance calling, the disco was also outstanding!! 5* all the way. Highly reccommended!

From the moment we contacted Ross & Ailise to them performing on our wedding day, it's been a great experience. The journey from where they are based in Scotland to our wedding venue near Scarborough was quite a trek but they were well up for it. They are friendly, professional & they were well up for helping us surprise all of our wedding guests. No-one knew wed booked bagpipers, so when Drum + Drones started playing as we walked back up the aisle, people were so surprised. Everyone loved hearing & seeing Ross & Ailise performing. It was so perfect!
